Upon receiving the news of her mother’s death, Xu Xingguang, though deeply saddened, quickly regained her composure. After all, the soul within her youthful appearance had become as tough as iron after enduring ten lifetimes of reincarnation.

Xu Xingguang opened her eyes and glanced at Xu Zeqing, asking, “My mother has always been in good health, and she’s still very young. How did she die?”

Normally, no parents would willingly subject their daughters to such a grievance.

However, this was the Huo family, an influential clan that could determine the life and death of other families with a single word. Being able to marry the eldest grandson of the Huo family meant receiving the support and protection of the Huo family, and who could resist such temptation?
