Rose of the Abyss

More than fifty years have passed since the Great Cataclysm, and the surface has long been completely overrun by an unknown ecosystem born from mutated flora.

Chai Yuening rescues an exceedingly beautiful young girl from the surface.

The girl has lost her memory, knowing nothing of her past. Like an injured kitten, she warily curls up in a corner, resisting any approaching stranger. Only when her gaze falls upon Chai Yuening does a glimmer of light appear in her eyes.

Most importantly, this girl was not registered in the Underground Base’s records.

Adhering to the principle that one is responsible for whom one saves, Chai Yuening takes her home.

Gradually, she discovers a problem.

This beautiful, silent girl—who seems so well-behaved and fragile, and clings to her every day—appears to be a mutated “plant.”
