Instead, they moved downward, tracing the contours of Yao Jinxi’s ears and neck. The fingertips left a hint of implication as they glided through the parts, creating a light and teasing sensation in the drowsy afternoon. It stirred up a subtle restlessness.
Yao Jinxi turned around, locking eyes with Wu Yang, who was looking down at him. Some unspoken understanding gathered in their chests. Yao Jinxi lifted himself up, planting a deliberate kiss on Wu Yang’s chin, purposely making a kissing sound.
“Nothing much. Let’s leave it at that. I have something to attend to right now. I’ll get in touch later,” Wu Yang calmly hung up the phone and tossed it casually on the sofa. He turned to look at Yao Jinxi with a playful smile. “Are you upset?”
“Um,” Yao Jinxi touched Wu Yang’s face, adopting a critical expression. “You didn’t shave this morning?”
Wu Yang leaned in and planted a kiss on his lips. His hand was wrapped around Yao Jinxi’s waist. He emitted a muffled hum, but persisted in asking, “Are you really not happy?”
As if yawning, Yao Jinxi opened his mouth, deepening the kiss between them. Yao Jinxi felt his mind becoming even hazier. “I’m just bored.”
