SUIT Chapter 3 & 4

Chapter 3

My Bed Collapsed

Alpha watched as the young master seemed indifferent, and a surge of anger rose within him. However, he couldn’t pinpoint where this anger stemmed from.

A fire seemed to ignite within Alpha’s heart, burning more fiercely, but he couldn’t find an outlet to vent it.

What did “just playing around” mean?

No, the key point was that scumbag alpha was “just playing around”?

The person was missing?

Alpha clenched his fists.

Would the young master be sad? Would he be in pain? Would he suffer?

Scumbag A, Alpha cursed inwardly.

The man followed silently behind the young master, ensuring he arrived home safely before unlocking the door with a few “clicks.” The door slammed with a loud “thud.”

His phone timely chimed with a notification, and Alpha leaned against the door to check it.

The message came from an unexpected person. The man swiped his finger across the screen and opened the chat.

[Hotel Manager]: Dear Mr. Zhou, After emergency handling by our technicians on August 10th, the third-floor surveillance couldn’t be recovered. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and will offer compensation.

Alpha frowned at the message. He had approached the hotel manager at the time, intending to review the surveillance footage immediately, but unexpectedly, the equipment malfunctioned. He had been following up, but the hotel hadn’t provided a clear response until now.

As Alpha was about to dismiss the message, his phone displayed a push notification.

[XX News: Shocking! These are the dangers of being 13 weeks pregnant!]

Thirteen weeks? That’s about three months.

Wasn’t that…

Alpha tapped into the article.

On the other side of the door, the young master heard the sound of his archenemy slamming the door, only then realizing his limbs felt stiff. The baby was already four months old. After the discomfort passed, the young master began contemplating his next move.

He had told his archenemy it was three months, deliberately off-timing the actual date.

A friend’s message arrived promptly, stating: “The matter has been handled.”

Previously, upon learning his archenemy was searching for people, the young master had no choice but to resort to this strategy. Fortunately, the hotel that night belonged to a friend, making it effortless to delete the surveillance footage. Seeing the message from his friend, the young master slowly exhaled in relief.

He could never tell his archenemy.

The two had been rivals since their school days, antagonizing each other for years. Even if his archenemy didn’t utterly hate him, he definitely harbored no goodwill.

Moreover, he could not bring himself to disclose it.

The young master did not expect to encounter his archenemy again at 10 p.m. the following evening.

This time, it was not to borrow something. His archenemy held screws in one hand and a wooden board in the other.

Young Master: ????

Alpha lowered his gaze, stating a sad fact: “My bed collapsed.”

Young Master: ???????????

What was going on?

“I noticed the bed was a bit shaky today, so I tried fixing it myself, but this happened.” Alpha held up the disassembled wooden board, proving he wasn’t lying.

Alpha: “The temperature outside is low now, and my place isn’t fully renovated yet, so there’s no guest room.”

“But Grandma said there should be a guest room here, or the sofa would work. Can I stay the night—”

The young master coldly refused and slammed the door shut: “No.”

Hesitant footsteps sounded outside, followed by the noise of opening and closing the door again.

What was his archenemy doing?

The young master sat on the sofa. To ensure peace and quiet, he had rented a place without any entertainment venues or hotels nearby. The wind picked up outside, billowing the curtains, and the young master, clad in fluffy pajamas, shuddered from the chill.

Unconsciously, the young master’s steps led him to the door, peering through the peephole. His archenemy was still there. Alpha crouched by the young master’s door, and a cold gust swept through the hallway, causing him to shiver.

Was this guy an idiot?

With an annoyed groan, the young master opened the door.

“What are you doing squatting there? Who would take pity on you?” he scolded, opening the door.

This person is so annoying.

“Get in!” the young master said.

His archenemy swiftly entered, carrying a pile of resources on caring for Omegas that he had researched the previous night.

Alpha (grumbling): Scumbag A!

Chapter 4

The Bed Keeps Collapsing

The young master never expected that for some people, once their bed collapsed, it would last a month, with a tendency to continue collapsing.

The Omega watched the Alpha strolling around his home, acting like half the owner, and finally couldn’t help but speak up: “You—”

“Feeling unwell again?” The words were cut off by his archenemy: “It’s been another month already, why are you still feeling sick every day?”

The resources clearly stated that the situation should have stabilized in the early stages. Alpha frowned, determined to study this aspect thoroughly.

Alpha looked tense as he helped the young master onto the sofa and played soothing music to alleviate his discomfort. The young master’s condition was rather complicated. They say an Omega carrying a child needs an alpha’s comfort the most, yet that scumbag A had vanished without a trace.

Recalling the young master’s previous distressed state, his archenemy inwardly vowed. Hmph, that scumbag A better not let him find him, or he’d beat him to a pulp!

Initially, he had considered persuading the young master to terminate the pregnancy.

For some reason, from the moment he learned about the young master’s baby, his chest felt congested with a bittersweet sensation. Like downing an entire string of sour grapes, the sourness accumulated, clogging his nasal cavity and weighing on his chest. He was bewildered, accompanied by a sense of helplessness and panic.

But before he could think further, an inexplicable anger followed. The young master was already settling down with someone else after knowing him for just a month? The fury burned more intensely, yet upon seeing the young master’s pale face, his concern remained.

He just wanted to ask if the young master was feeling unwell.

The dangers faced by a pregnant Omega were too numerous, especially since the young master lived alone. What if he fell? What if he suddenly felt unwell? What if he couldn’t sleep? What if his leg cramped? Alpha scoured the internet all night, then proceeded to disassemble his bed the next day.

“Ugh—” The young master was used to living alone before, able to endure minor discomforts until they passed. But being meticulously cared for by his archenemy for a month made a difference.

“My head feels dizzy,” the young master complained.

“Want me to massage it?” His archenemy lowered his voice, seeking the young master’s consent.

“Alright,” the young master replied.

Wait, wasn’t he supposed to kick him out?

Oh well, considering how soothing this alpha’s head massages felt, the young master decided to postpone kicking him out for a few days.

“Apply more pressure.”

“Like this?”

“A little higher.”

“Got it.”

They thought this bout of discomfort would subside like usual, but around 8 p.m., the young master’s condition worsened. The young master lived alone in the master bedroom. By the time Alpha realized something was wrong and rushed to the master bedroom, the young master was drenched in sweat from the pain. The sound of a water glass shattering on the ground woke up the Alpha just in time.

Unconcerned about stepping on broken glass, Alpha swiftly scooped the young master into his arms and rushed to the hospital.

The young master’s face was deathly pale, white as a sheet.

Fortunately, no serious harm occurred. The young master simply lacked alpha pheromones, but this incident served as a wake-up call for them both.

When the young master regained consciousness, his archenemy sat dazed on the visitor’s chair. Hearing the rustle of the bedsheets, Alpha quickly turned his head.

“Water.” The dizziness lingered, and the young master mumbled.

“Coming, coming.” His archenemy had only recently learned to care for others, flustering as he grabbed a cup.

The room was silent as Alpha supported the young master with one hand while holding the water cup with the other.

After a long silence, alpha slowly spoke: “Um, where’s that alpha?”

Throughout the month, he hadn’t asked the young master this question, or perhaps subconsciously, he didn’t want that alpha to return.

Yet he couldn’t bear to see the young master suffering any longer.

The young master remained silent.

“The doctor said you need—” His archenemy explained.

The young master turned to face him. His heart had been in turmoil, even wavering at times. But should he directly tell his archenemy that the alpha in question was him?

The young master felt uncertain again.

Although his archenemy cared for him, temporary care differed from a lifelong commitment.

When he was young, his alpha father had promised to always care for him and his omega father, but what happened in the end?

It was all temporary.

“I don’t need him,” the young master’s voice faltered, but he still sounded aggrieved. Thinking of a certain alpha who constantly rivaled him, the young master said, “That scumbag A only angers me.”

This time, silence fell on his archenemy. Finally, Alpha sighed and walked out the door.

The young master pretended to sleep with his eyes closed, only opening them again after hearing the door.

Afterward, the young master fell asleep again. His body truly weakened, and he felt fatigued after a short while.

“I just bought some porridge. Wake up and have a little.”

The young master was roused by his archenemy gently patting him, with a bowl of porridge set aside.

“Mmm.” The young master sat up, noticing a small glass bottle beside the porridge.

“I just checked our compatibility level,” his archenemy’s voice sounded frail, but the alpha seemed pleased. “Our compatibility is a high 96%!”

“This is my pheromone; it should help alleviate your discomfort.”

“I’ll take good care of you.” Alpha looked resolutely into the young master’s eyes, as if determined.

The young master’s heart skipped a beat as he anxiously averted his archenemy’s gaze.

His archenemy continued, “I won’t be like that scumbag A.”
