SUIT Chapter 9 & 10

Chapter 9

Confession

“Sob sob, everything will be fine.” The archenemy held the young master tightly, saying he would find the best doctors in the world, that there would definitely be a solution…

From the archenemy’s incoherent rambling, the young master finally understood the alpha’s misunderstanding.

This person is so dense.

The young master originally wanted to push away the person hugging him, but the alpha’s embrace was too tight. Despite being deeply upset, the man was still trying to comfort him.

The archenemy said that no matter what, he would stay by the young master’s side.

The archenemy said, “Don’t be afraid.”

Tears fell on the young master’s nape, making him shudder from the warmth.

Suddenly, the young master didn’t want to push him away anymore. The alpha’s embrace was warm, and his arms were strong and solid, just as the man had said—this embrace was sturdy and reliable.

“Are you really that dense?” The young master’s eyes reddened, perhaps influenced by the alpha. “I said due date.”

“Yes, due date, but it’s only May—” The archenemy started calculating.

Wait, hold on.

What date? Due what?

Due date!!!

But there’s a due date for premature birth too?

No, no, no, there’s no such thing as a due date for premature birth, so that means—

“Due… due date?” The archenemy’s eyelashes were still wet, showing how distraught he had been moments ago. The alpha looked up at the young master in disbelief and repeated, “What did you just say?”

“Yes, the baby is full-term.” The young master found the man’s confused expression both amusing and indescribably saddening.

“Full-term? But it’s only May.” The archenemy’s rationality hadn’t returned as he foolishly counted on his fingers. “September, October, November…”

Young master: This guy can’t even count backward?

As the archenemy continued counting, he finally realized something was off. His rationality slowly returned, and his gaze at the young master shifted from confusion to realization, then disbelief. The alpha stuttered, “Wh-what does that mean?”

“Full-term, so wouldn’t that mean around July or August for…for the baby’s conception?”

“Th-th-then—” The archenemy turned around, still unable to believe it.

“Yes, the baby was conceived in August.” The young master’s words confirmed the archenemy’s guess.

Before the archenemy could react, the young master dropped another bombshell. “That month, I was only intimate with one person—August 10th, at the Lehua Hotel.”

The date and location were familiar to the alpha, who had investigated them thoroughly. Yet, hearing those details together seemed to short-circuit his brain.

Archenemy: “What a coincidence; I stayed at the Lehua Hotel that night, too.”

Young master: “Room 1207.”

Archenemy: “Even more of a coincidence.”

Young master: ……

Archenemy: His brain short-circuited for several long seconds.

Archenemy: “I!! OH MY GOD!!!”

“This, no, wait—”

“What does this mean? Who’s that scumbag A?” The archenemy didn’t know where to put his hands, probably from cursing a certain “scumbag A” too much in his mind recently, the words slipped out.

But something seemed off…

The scumbag A was actually me??

Archenemy: “No, I mean that alpha, is this that alpha’s baby?”

“And then that alpha is me?”

“So this is my baby too?”

“So we actually conceived on the first try? Well, it makes sense given our high compatibility rate.”

Young master: ……

Young master: Is the reaction time really that long?

But seeing the dazed look on a certain A, the young master felt joyful inside. “Yes, that’s right.”

The tears in the alpha’s eyes didn’t diminish but increased instead as he looked at the young master with watery eyes. “I’m sorry for making you suffer so much. I’ll treat you both well, no, I swear I’ll treat you both well.”

The archenemy’s movements were careful and protective, shielding the young master as if handling a precious treasure.

Well, the young master was indeed his treasure.

“So, are you willing to be this cub’s father?” The young master looked up at the alpha. “Even though I have a bad temper, and I’m always opposing you, and sometimes I say unpleasant things—”

“I’m willing.” Before the young master could finish, the archenemy interrupted, looking like an overjoyed puppy wagging its tail as he leaned closer to the young master and emphasized, “You, you’re great. I’m willing.”

The archenemy said he had even prepared to pry open the womb, so how could he not be willing?

He couldn’t even wait.

The young master felt like laughing, and he did laugh.

“Okay.” The young master smiled.

“June is a suitable time for marriage.”

“Yes, I think so too.”

—END.

Alpha: I’m so embarrassed, I cried louder than my wife (sob sob, but I was really worried about my wife~)

Chapter 10

Extra Story: Life with a Cub

When the cub was born, the young master suffered quite a bit. Fortunately, the high compatibility between the archenemy and the young master allowed their pheromone bonds to provide some soothing effects.

Pheromone extraction liquid was practically free, as the archenemy lost count of how many times he ran to the pheromone extraction department. This method of extracting pheromones was also a significant burden for the alpha, but the archenemy was willing to do anything to ease the young master’s discomfort, even slightly.

When the cub was finally born, the archenemy didn’t even glance at it, rushing anxiously to the young master’s side instead. At that time, the young master’s face was pale, looking as if he had just been pulled out of the water. Medical staff were still bustling around, but the archenemy stayed by the young master’s side, asking about precautions while holding the young master’s hand and sobbing.

The doctors and nurses found it strange—in all their years of work, they had never seen an alpha cry more than an omega.

When the young master recovered enough to ask about the cub, the archenemy only then remembered the baby who had been left aside for almost an hour.

The cub was healthy, wrapped snugly in a swaddling cloth, and well-behaved. The young master withdrew his hand, which the archenemy had been gripping tightly, and took the cub, his eyes instinctively revealing tenderness. This was his cub, the young master thought, asking the alpha beside him, “Isn’t he adorable?”

“Yes,” the archenemy’s hands were empty, so he covered the young master’s hands with his own, embracing the cub together. “Adorable, just like you.”

“This is our baby.”

“Yes, yours and mine.”

————

In the blink of an eye, four years passed, and the cub grew bigger day by day.

When the cub was very young, the alpha took care of everything, and the young master didn’t have to worry about anything. The archenemy specifically took classes to learn how to care for children and omegas, even making a whole notebook of notes.

There was a period when the young master’s back hurt severely, and the cub would cry in the middle of the night. The archenemy would soothe the child to sleep while massaging the young master’s back to relieve the pain. It was during that time that the alpha lost five pounds in just a month.

Naturally, the young master felt sorry, his heart aching at the sight of the stubble on the archenemy’s chin. Perhaps sensing the young master’s concern, the alpha shaved the next day and reassured the young master with a smile, saying not to worry.

The alpha said, “I’m here.”

True to his word, the archenemy always took good care of the young master.

Tonight, as usual, the young master was reading a bedtime story to the cub while the archenemy heated milk for the two of them in the kitchen.

“…And the prince and princess lived happily ever after.” After finishing the story, the young master pinched the cub’s cheeks. “Daddy, why do the prince and princess have to sleep together?” The cub pointed at the illustration on the last page of the book and asked the young master curiously.

“Because the prince’s bed was broken,” the archenemy chimed in as he entered with the warm milk.

“Shut up, don’t corrupt our cub,” the young master took the milk from the archenemy and continued answering the cub, “Don’t listen to your dad, the prince and princess live together because the princess is the prince’s lover.”

“So is daddy your lover too, papa?” The cub continued asking.

“Of course, it took your dad a lot of effort to win over your papa, you know,” the archenemy motioned for the young master to rest and began telling the cub another story. “When I first met your papa…”

A week later was the couple’s wedding anniversary, and the archenemy had made arrangements in advance. As soon as the young master got off work, he received a call from the alpha.

After a candlelit dinner and a stroll by the sea breeze, they slowly made their way home. The streetlights elongated their shadows as the alpha walked beside the young master. After a while, the alpha said the wind was strong and tucked the young master’s hands into his pockets to warm them.

“Oh, I almost forgot, what about the cub?” The young master asked.

“No problem, don’t worry,” the archenemy took the young master’s hand. “Uncle Wu is watching over him. I prepared three big bags of baby food, enough for him to eat.”

Right, Uncle Wu was the family’s butler.
