Lu Yunye’s voice wasn’t too loud, but every word carried weight, making people subconsciously want to obey.
For a moment, all eyes in the venue were on Shu Wen.
The omega in the wheelchair had pale skin, and the blue blood vessels behind his ears could be seen. His peach blossom eyes are exactly the same as Shi Yi’s, and his smiles will hook the recipient. But when he’s not smiling, his eyes are long and indifferent, as if he has something on his mind.
Shu Wen raised his head. Everything around him didn’t seem to exist as he looked at Shi Jinpeng who was a few meters away, and said, “We are completely over.”
“I will wash off the mark. In the future, you won’t be bothered by the susceptible period.”
“How dare you!” Shi Jinpeng roared angrily, like a cornered beast.
The bodyguards outside the venue approached calmly and surrounded him in a semi-protective enclosure.
“I’ve wanted to do this since I was twenty years old,” Shu Wen said calmly, as if he didn’t want to recall his regrettable past. “It’s all because of Shi Yi that I can live until now.”
After he finished speaking, he closed his mouth. Even though he was physically weak, his eyes remained firm.
Shi Yi is very similar to his omega father in some respects, Lu Yunye thought.
“I think Uncle Shu has made his point clear.” Pushing the wheelchair himself, Lu Yunye walked step by step towards the entrance of the venue.
Shi Jinpeng roared and rushed forward, eyes red, like an angry bull. His aggressive pheromone poured out in an instant, but it was immediately diluted as if diffused into the snow-capped pine forest.

Shi Jinpeng staggered and fell to his knees a few steps away from Shu Wen, howling, but was immediately restrained by the swarming security guards, completely trapped under them.

A seven-seater commercial vehicle was parked downstairs. The back seat was opened, and Shi Yi helped push Shu Wen up.
Shi Yi’s beating heart didn’t calm down until he sat in the co-pilot. Lips trembling, he wanted to cry, yell, and smash something to vent, but his emotions finally stopped abruptly, only seeing the blurred streetlights and colored blocks mixed together.
When Lu Yunye got in the vehicle and started the gas, Shi Yi finally came to his senses. “Can you help me take Dad to a nearby hotel?”
Shi Yi’s own home can’t be lived in – Shi Jinpeng knows this place well. Even if he is temporarily incapable of doing anything, Shi Yi isn’t at ease.
He planned to stay with Shu Wen in the hotel for one night first, and then send him to the hospital the next day.
“Go directly to the hospital.” Lu Yunye said.
“I’ve already prepared a room.” He added.
Shi Yi was stunned for a moment, “When did you…”
Lu Yunye: “This afternoon.”
It turned out that Lu Yunye already planned to take Shu Wen away from the moment they first entered the venue. Tonight seemed to unfold like a farce, but was actually planned by Lu Yunye long ago.
Shi Yi stared at him blankly for a moment. A big stone finally fell from his heart.
“Thank you,” he said.
Lu Yunye seemed to be aware of his emotions, so he didn’t say anything, and didn’t say anything to comfort him.
The seven-seater drove smoothly into the night, and the sky garden soon turned into a spec in the night.
The Lu family’s hospital in the west is built half for treatment, and half for recuperation. The environment is beautiful, with each patient having their own garden hut and living facilities, just like a small town.
By the time Lu Yunye directly parked the car downstairs, Shu Wen had passed out due to exhaustion. The readied doctors and nurses immediately surrounded him, pushing him out, and brought him in for a full-body examination.
Lu Yunye took Shi Yi out of the car, and an alpha in his forties came over, with a black nameplate on his white coat: Chief Physician Shen Qing’an.
Lu Yunye nodded slightly, “Uncle Shen.”
“I’ve already heard about his condition,” Shen Qing’an went straight to the point. “After tonight’s examination, the treatment team will discuss a plan, and try not to waste time.”
“This is Uncle Shen, Shen Qing’an,” Lu Yunye introduced. “He’s the family doctor of the Lu family.”
Shen Qing’an was originally teaching at a university, but because he didn’t want to do fake projects for funding, he was excluded. Because his family was poor, he didn’t even get married. Later he was discovered by Lu Feng, and became the family doctor of the Lu family for more than ten years. After the new hospital was built, he was transferred here.
“Sorry for the trouble, Uncle Shen.” Shi Yi bowed slightly.
“Hey, it’s okay.” Shen Qing’an smiled and handed over his business card. “You are Lu Yunye’s omega, right? Just contact me directly whenever you come.”
Shi Yi took it over solemnly, “Thank you.”
“Okay, then I’ll go in first.” Shen Qing’an glanced towards the courtyard door. “They’ll move faster if someone is watching.”
After he left, Lu Yunye and Shi Yi were left in the same place.
It was already late at night. The moon was westward in the sky, and its brightness was dimming. The environment of the hospital is indeed very good, the sound of insects is endless, making the silence of the night even more apparent.
Shi Yi took a deep breath, and turned to face the alpha in front of him, “Lu Yunye, thank you.”
Yay – Shu Wen finally escapes the clutches of that alpha scum!
