Happy 100th chapter!!!!!!!!
Ancient Castle Horror.
Qiao Shu was scared out of his wits.
Not only was he scared out of his wits, but he felt like he was falling apart.
Qiao Shu lay on the bed being fed preserved egg and lean pork congee by Gu Chenyan. Suddenly, he thought of a descriptor often mentioned in old romance novels.
He glared at Gu Chenyan and pouted, “Do I look like a rag doll right now?”
His body was covered in bruises.
Qiao Shu’s waist and legs were weak and limp.
Gu Chenyan: “?”
Gu Chenyan: “Rag doll?”
Qiao Shu, daring as ever, lifted his pale foot with red marks and placed it on Gu Chenyan’s face.
Gu Chenyan wasn’t angry at all. With his free hand, he indulgently grasped Qiao Shu’s ankle, and when he took it down, he affectionately kissed the top of Qiao Shu’s foot.
Qiao Shu felt both embarrassed and ticklish as he tried to pull back.
He couldn’t pull back.
Gu Chenyan held Qiao Shu’s foot, his thumb gently stroking the sole. “Shy?”
Qiao Shu: “…”
Gu Chenyan: “Is there any part of you that I haven’t kissed?”
Qiao Shu: “…”
Damn it!
With a single sentence, blood rushed to Qiao Shu’s face, and he felt like he was about to catch fire.
He was the one supposed to be scolding Gu Chenyan.
Qiao Shu raised his hand to cover his face, his voice muffled under his palm: “Mr. Gu—”
Qiao Shu: “How have you evolved again?”
Gu Chenyan raised an eyebrow: “Evolved?”
Qiao Shu: “…”
He couldn’t lose!
This was the final dignity of an LSP1lecherous soul person. I finally know the meaning of LSP T^T Not sure if I got it right though, hehe!
Qiao Shu was silent for a few seconds, then took a deep breath and lowered his hand, revealing his pitifully cute face, pale with a hint of pink: “Mr. Gu, do you know what a rag doll is?”
Gu Chenyan looked at him.
Qiao Shu propped himself up on the bed with both hands, looking up at Gu Chenyan. He slowly leaned closer until his soft lips were against Gu Chenyan’s earlobe.
He deliberately blew a breath.
Gu Chenyan’s fingers tightened slightly around the bowl.
Qiao Shu smiled, whispering shyly yet seductively, “Because, Mr. Gu—”
Qiao Shu: “You played me until I broke.”
Gu Chenyan: “Little Mr. Qiao.”
Gu Chenyan’s breath hitched, and he pinched Qiao Shu’s chin, moving his head away: “Behave.”
Qiao Shu’s face blushed deeply, but he was smiling.
Saying such an embarrassing line naturally made him feel extremely shy and a bit awkward.
But—
Seeing Gu Chenyan’s restrained and controlled expression, Qiao Shu felt especially sweet.
Because love requires restraint.
Qiao Shu happily leaned in and kissed Gu Chenyan on the cheek, making a particularly crisp sound.
Smack!
Gu Chenyan: “Eat.”
Qiao Shu laughed, “Okay!”
Qiao Shu only ate half a bowl of preserved egg and lean pork congee before Gu Chenyan stopped him from eating more.
Gu Chenyan wiped Qiao Shu’s mouth with a napkin. “The chef is preparing lunch downstairs. Eat this for now to fill your stomach, and we’ll continue eating later.”
Qiao Shu asked with great interest, “What are we having for lunch today?”
Gu Chenyan smiled, “Western cuisine.”
Qiao Shu was taken aback.
Gu Chenyan: “Didn’t you say you wanted to take photos yesterday?”
Gu Chenyan: “After the photos, if you don’t like it, we can switch to Chinese food.”
Qiao Shu: “Isn’t that wasteful?”
Gu Chenyan: “It’s not wasteful. There are many people in the castle.”
This castle was very large. Due to their arrival, there were hundreds of bodyguards for security, not to mention the servants who maintained the castle and the accompanying personal assistants.
Qiao Shu: “Okay.”
Watching Gu Chenyan throw the napkin into the trash, Qiao Shu lazily leaned over, hugging him. With a face full of contentment, he nuzzled against Gu Chenyan’s chest, “Hug me again.”
Gu Chenyan: “Okay.”
He raised his hand and gently rubbed Qiao Shu’s head.
When lunch was ready, the temporary butler came up and knocked on the door.
Gu Chenyan dressed Qiao Shu and then naturally picked him up, carrying him downstairs.
Qiao Shu clung to his neck and kicked his legs, “Mr. Gu is spoiling me into becoming a little lazybones.”
His voice was full of pride.
Qiao Shu: “How about becoming an accessory on Mr. Gu?”
Gu Chenyan: “Sure.”
Gu Chenyan: “And turn back at night.”
Qiao Shu: “…”
Pfft
Qiao Shu: “Mr.—”
Gu Chenyan looked at him and smiled, “Okay?”
Qiao Shu: “…”
Qiao Shu: “Okay.”
The luxurious long table was filled with a variety of exquisite Western dishes. Qiao Shu’s eyes lit up: “Wow!”
It was reminiscent of how Western nobility dined in ancient times, though perhaps not as extravagant as this.
Excitedly, Qiao Shu got off Gu Chenyan, gazing at the delicious-looking food on the table, and eagerly took out his phone.
Finding the right angles and adjusting filters, Qiao Shu was busy and happy. After taking the photos, he joyfully pulled Gu Chenyan to sit at the table and then buried his head in his phone.
Gu Chenyan didn’t rush him.
He watched Qiao Shu happily posting on Weibo, his gaze gentle. Then, he took the plate in front of Qiao Shu and meticulously cut the exquisite food with a dining knife.
Qiao Shu V: Happy vacation!
He attached three photos: one taken on the first day of their arrival showing the castle, one of the dining table, and one of Gu Chenyan’s back that Qiao Shu had sneakily taken.
As for a front view…
Qiao Shu: “Hmph!”
Mr. Gu is so handsome, I’m not sharing! Although his back is incredibly handsome too, Qiao Shu only posted it out of love for his fans and CP fans.
Of course, he also wanted to show off his love.
Fans and CP fans seemed to have made a home on Qiao Shu’s Weibo. As soon as he posted, the comments flooded in before he could even exit the app.
【Finally, I’ve been waiting for this!】
【Aaaah, this sweetness tastes like money! I’m indulging!】
【As expected, rich people’s vacations are different from ours. QAQ Qiao Qiao, I’m about to be crushed by the May Day crowds.】
【Castle! Feast! Beauty!】
【Qiao Qiao, do you and President Gu need a servant? I’ll clean the toilets! Look at me!】
【Eh? Where’s my Zai Zai?】
【Hahaha, poor Zai Zai must have been squeezed out of their private world again.】
【The little Zai Zai of several months has no rights】
【Zai Zai: I have two dads, but both my dads only love each other QAQ】
【Zai Zai: As cute as I am, I still lost to love】
Qiao Shu couldn’t help but laugh out loud at the whimsical comments from his fans.
Gu Chenyan: “What’s so funny?”
Qiao Shu handed his phone to Gu Chenyan: “Haha, such drama queens. So cute.”
Gu Chenyan quickly scanned the comments and also smiled.
Qiao Shu took back his phone and thought for a moment before saying, “Next time we go out, let’s bring Zai Zai.”
Once Zai Zai was older, they could take him out without any worries.
Gu Chenyan: “Okay.”
Ding dong
A Weibo notification mentioned him.
Zhou Yanqing V: (Poor me) Working hard at babysitting [photo] @QiaoShu @QiaoQiao’sMr.Gu
Qiao Shu curiously clicked on the photo and saw the adorable back of Zai Zai playing a game.
Pfft
Zhou Yanqing had no work during the May Day holiday and didn’t want to squeeze through the crowded places. Most importantly, he was alone. So, he happily went home to babysit.
Babysitting was as joyful as being a god.
When unexpected dog food falls from the sky, one must seize the opportunity to play the victim.
Qiao Shu didn’t hesitate at all. He happily saved the photo of Zai Zai’s back and arrogantly left a comment under Zhou Yanqing’s Weibo post: “Post more photos. When we get home, let your brother introduce you to potential dates.”
Zhou Yanqing: “…”
Enough!
Qiao Shu chuckled to himself.
Gu Chenyan cut the food and reached out to take Qiao Shu’s phone: “It’s time to eat.”
Qiao Shu obediently let go.
Then, a beautifully arranged plate of food was handed to him by a very attractive hand.
Gu Chenyan: “Try it.”
It must be said that the chef hired by Gu Chenyan was truly skilled. Even someone like Qiao Shu, who didn’t particularly enjoy Western food, was now eating with delight.
The only downside was that there were no chopsticks, only knives and forks.
Gu Chenyan looked at the butler waiting on the side and said, “Bring two pairs of chopsticks.”
Qiao Shu was stunned.
His first reaction was, “Chopsticks? But they don’t match.”
Gu Chenyan used a fork to pick up a small piece of foie gras and handed it to Qiao Shu’s mouth. Qiao Shu opened his mouth and ate it. “What matters is not what you use, but that you enjoy your meal.”
Qiao Shu thought for a moment. “True.”
The chopsticks were quickly brought over, and Qiao Shu felt even more smooth and joyful eating with them. Occasionally, he would feed Gu Chenyan a bite or two, and Gu Chenyan also switched to using chopsticks, harmonizing with Qiao Shu.
After finishing their meal, they took a stroll to walk off some of the food. Gu Chenyan led Qiao Shu to the back of the castle, where the horse stable was located.
The horse stable was incredibly large, stretching out as far as the eye could see.
Just like this magnificent castle, it belonged to Gu Chenyan.
The assistant had already prepared everything.
Qiao Shu changed into appropriate attire and came out to see the vast expanse of the horse stable. He couldn’t help but exclaim, “It’s so huge here. The horse stables in Haicheng aren’t this big.”
When they were in Haicheng, they also went horseback riding. However, due to the limited land resources in Haicheng, even the stables built in the suburbs were spacious, but the riding experience was still not as enjoyable.
Unlike here.
It seemed endless.
The lush green grass, filled with the vibrant colors of spring, greeted Qiao Shu’s eyes. He opened his arms to take in a breath of fresh air.
It was very comfortable.
It also brought out his childish side.
Qiao Shu glanced at Gu Chenyan, then laughed and dashed off a distance, cupping his hands around his mouth like a trumpet. “Aaah! Gu Chenyan!”
Gu Chenyan watched him.
Qiao Shu laughed.
Then, at a faster speed, he rushed back. At the moment of impact with Gu Chenyan, he lowered his body slightly, firmly wrapping his arms around Gu Chenyan’s waist. He exerted all his strength to lift Gu Chenyan and even spun him around.
“Hahaha—”
Gu Chenyan was momentarily stunned, and then a hint of a smile curved his lips. It was rare for him to “enjoy” being lifted and spun around by someone else while he remained still.
After spinning twice, Qiao Shu put Gu Chenyan down and laughed, shaking his arms.
Gu Chenyan: “Feeling sore?”
He held Qiao Shu’s wrist and massaged his arms.
Qiao Shu grinned, “It feels really good to hug you like this for the first time.”
Just that Gu Chenyan was a bit big in size.
And a bit heavy.
And taller than him.
Gu Chenyan: “Do you like it?”
Qiao Shu nodded vigorously.
Gu Chenyan: “Want to spin around some more?”
Qiao Shu’s eyes lit up again as he nodded eagerly.
Gu Chenyan smiled and ruffled Qiao Shu’s head. He bent down to hug Qiao Shu’s waist.
Qiao Shu: “Hahaha—”
The joyful laughter echoed across the vast horse stable, lifting everyone’s mood along with it.
Even when they stopped, Qiao Shu still seemed a bit reluctant to let go. He leaned against Gu Chenyan, his laughter making his eyes disappear.
Gu Chenyan watched him, also smiling.
For a while.
Qiao Shu laughed, “As expected. My Mr. Gu has the best stamina.”
Qiao Shu: “Can we spin again?”
Gu Chenyan: “Okay.”
Contrary to his usual demeanor, he had no reservations about playing around with Qiao Shu like an unrestrained child.
He just wanted to indulge his little husband, until Qiao Shu had his fill.
The horses had been waiting patiently nearby for a long time, but neither of them rushed to mount.
The assistant and the stable attendants, watching Gu Chenyan in this state of playfulness, were all amazed and astonished, with some mixed expressions of surprise and nonchalance.
When the boss is in love, nothing they do should be considered strange. Even if they were to play tag, everyone would think nothing of it.
With a swift movement, Gu Chenyan gracefully flipped onto the horse’s back, and Qiao Shu, eyes sparkling, followed suit. Then, Gu Chenyan reached out his hand to Qiao Shu, “Shall we ride together?”
Qiao Shu was itching to go.
Gu Chenyan: “Can you handle it yourself?”
Qiao Shu: “Nope!”
He grabbed Gu Chenyan’s hand, and with a pull from Gu Chenyan’s strong grip, Qiao Shu was lifted and landed on the horseback, nestled in the man’s warm embrace.
“Huh?” Qiao Shu felt the cushion beneath him. “It’s soft?”
Gu Chenyan: “Yes.”
Qiao Shu turned his head with a mischievous smile and kissed Gu Chenyan’s cheek. “Husband is so considerate.”
After fooling around all night last night, although he had rested all morning and had no problem walking, riding might be a bit uncomfortable.
Qiao Shu had wanted to go riding early in the morning.
Gu Chenyan indulged him. He followed his lead and prepared everything according to Qiao Shu’s wishes.
Feeling elated after the kiss, Qiao Shu relaxed into Gu Chenyan’s embrace, his face displaying a carefree smile. “Let’s go!”
Gu Chenyan pinched his cheek and tightened his legs around the horse’s belly. The horse shot forward like an arrow released from a bow.
The wind rushed past their faces.
The surroundings quickly receded.
The sound of hooves echoed.
“Faster!” Qiao Shu patted Gu Chenyan’s arm excitedly, directing, “Faster!”
The horse’s pace quickened once again.
Qiao Shu spread his arms wide, tilting his head back to look at Gu Chenyan. “Mr. Gu, I feel like I’m flying!”
Qiao Shu: “We’re both flying!”
The horse arena was vast.
There was a forest ahead. When they reached the edge of the woods, Qiao Shu spontaneously directed Gu Chenyan to ride into the forest.
Gu Chenyan’s equestrian skills were much better than Qiao Shu’s, who had only learned because of acting. They maneuvered through the trees, thrillingly zigzagging.
Each time Qiao Shu thought they were going to hit a tree, Gu Chenyan skillfully avoided them.
They rode through the woods for a long time before emerging.
Qiao Shu looked at Gu Chenyan with sparkling eyes. “Husband, you’re so amazing at horse riding!”
When they rode in Haicheng, Gu Chenyan always stayed by his side at a leisurely pace. Qiao Shu’s riding speed was average, so he never had the chance to witness Gu Chenyan’s exceptional horsemanship.
Emerging from the forest, his heart was racing.
Excitedly, Qiao Shu exclaimed, “So cool!”
Gu Chenyan chuckled.
Qiao Shu continued, “Ah, if I had known earlier, I would have let you take me riding more often. It’s much more thrilling than riding alone.”
Gu Chenyan: “Mm.”
“At the horse arena we went to, there wasn’t a forest.” Qiao Shu asked excitedly, “Mr. Gu, what else can you do?”
Gu Chenyan asked, “Do you want to skydive?”
Qiao Shu: “!!!”
Qiao Shu: “Yes!”
“What else?” Qiao Shu’s eyes sparkled.
“Do you want to rock climb?” Gu Chenyan asked.
Qiao Shu: “I do!”
Gu Chenyan: “I’ll take you tomorrow.”
“Yeah!” Qiao Shu cheered, “My husband is truly capable of anything!”
Qiao Shu had a super enjoyable holiday; indulging in delicious food and drink, staying in the magnificent castle that many dreamed of, playing thrilling outdoor sports with Gu Chenyan, and engaging in exciting “indoor sports” at night.
When he went skydiving, Qiao Shu was actually quite scared. He dangled from the wire, flying down from tens of meters high, feeling excited as he experienced the sensation of being a martial arts master. But when the plane soared thousands of meters into the sky, and everything below looked tiny, his legs started trembling.
Tens of meters and thousands of meters were not the same.
But Gu Chenyan was there.
His husband was there.
When Gu Chenyan held him in his arms, Qiao Shu’s fear vanished, leaving only excitement.
Together with Gu Chenyan, they embraced the jump from thousands of meters in the sky, slowly opening his eyes to Gu Chenyan’s soothing voice.
Qiao Shu felt like he was flying.
In flight, he realized his childhood dream of soaring through the skies.
Gu Chenyan was amazing!
Qiao Shu had a great time skydiving.
But when it came to rock climbing, Qiao Shu only felt frustration. Rock climbing was too physically demanding.
His physical strength used to be decent. But since having a child, his physique hadn’t been the same. He couldn’t endure exhaustion, and his stamina had decreased.
The damage from childbirth was irreversible.
Even though Gu Chenyan had taken care of him in every way during that period, and he had rested for a full hundred days, he still couldn’t fully recover.
Gu Chenyan held out the thermos with the straw to Qiao Shu’s lips. “Have some water.”
Qiao Shu bit down on the straw.
The lukewarm water slid down his throat, relieving some of Qiao Shu’s fatigue. He bit the straw and then relaxed his grip.
“It’s too difficult,” Qiao Shu said.
He looked at the steep climbing wall and wrinkled his nose, then snuggled into Gu Chenyan’s arms, feeling weak. “Mr. Gu, Little Mr. Qiao doesn’t have any strength left.”
Gu Chenyan chuckled.
Setting down the thermos, he took the hot towel from the assistant and carefully applied it to Qiao Shu’s face. “Feeling comfortable?”
Qiao Shu: “Very.”
Gu Chenyan: “Is Mr. Gu’s service satisfactory?”
Qiao Shu hesitated for a moment, then: “Absolutely!”
Qiao Shu: “Carry on!”
Gu Chenyan chuckled softly. “Yes, my Little Mr. Qiao.”
So Qiao Shu, feeling weak, didn’t even have to walk anymore.
He felt quite open now, not feeling embarrassed at all to be carried by Gu Chenyan and seen by the surrounding assistants and staff.
Well, with so many people watching, he just…
Let it go.
On the last night of the vacation, Qiao Shu excitedly carried the tent and ran to the horse farm.
The pest control and sanitation work at the horse farm had been done long ago when Qiao Shu had the idea of camping.
“Is this place okay?” Qiao Shu turned back to ask Gu Chenyan.
Gu Chenyan nodded.
Qiao Shu: “Then this is it.”
He set up his tent, then picked up the blueprint and studied it carefully, claiming possessively, “You’re not allowed to help tonight.”
Qiao Shu: “This is Little Mr. Qiao’s task.”
Gu Chenyan watched him.
Qiao Shu hummed lightly, “I’ll tell you after I finish setting up the tent, hehe.”
The tent was a large 2.5-meter tent. Qiao Shu had set up one before, although he tended to forget once he finished. Luckily, he had the blueprint. Setting up the tent was a piece of cake for Qiao Shu.
He busied himself with a hum.
After a while, he finally finished setting up the tent. Then, he took the soft blanket from the assistant and diligently spread it inside the tent. He also took a few small items to decorate the tent, hanging up star lights.
Qiao Shu: “All done!”
Qiao Shu stepped out of the tent, satisfied, clapping his hands. He proudly looked at Gu Chenyan, “Does it look good?”
Gu Chenyan: “Looks good.”
Qiao Shu lifted his chin slightly, “Am I amazing?”
Gu Chenyan: “Amazing.”
Qiao Shu’s imaginary tail was about to wag.
He eagerly walked over to Gu Chenyan, wanting to give him a kiss. Then, he turned to the assistants nearby, “You guys can go back now.”
The assistants chuckled and quickly left.
Qiao Shu, feeling a bit embarrassed, touched his face, then resumed his proud demeanor. He held Gu Chenyan’s hand and excitedly led him towards the tent.
“Sit down,” Qiao Shu commanded.
Gu Chenyan obediently complied, sitting down on the extremely soft tent floor.
Qiao Shu reached out attentively to take off Gu Chenyan’s shoes. Gu Chenyan’s attempt to stop him was met with a stern glare from Qiao Shu. “Today, you’ll listen to me!”
Gu Chenyan sighed, “Okay.”
Qiao Shu was delighted.
This was his first time taking off Gu Chenyan’s shoes, and he felt a strange sense of satisfaction. Gu Chenyan had taken off his shoes so many times, and now he finally had the chance to do it for Gu Chenyan.
As the shoes and socks came off, Qiao Shu curiously measured Gu Chenyan’s feet with his hand.
Qiao Shu: “Your feet are so big!”
Gu Chenyan raised an eyebrow.
After comparing, Qiao Shu eagerly took off his own shoes and socks and crawled into the tent. He reached out to grasp Gu Chenyan’s ankle, then lifted his own foot to place it on Gu Chenyan’s sole. “Wow, it’s a whole size bigger.”
Qiao Shu: “Our hands are the same size.”
Qiao Shu: “And our bodies too.”
With a playful shout, Qiao Shu tackled Gu Chenyan inside the tent, wrapping his leg around Gu Chenyan’s, entwining him tightly. Then, he lightly flicked Gu Chenyan’s chin with his index finger, making himself chuckle mischievously. “Husband~”
Qiao Shu: “Are you satisfied with this ‘Golden Chamber’?”
Gu Chenyan chuckled softly, “Is this a ‘Golden Chamber of Concealment’?”
Qiao Shu: “Yes!”
He rewarded Gu Chenyan with a loud kiss. “Smart! This is the tent I’ve built for you.”
Ahem!
Qiao Shu: “It’s a ‘Golden Chamber’.”
Qiao Shu: “Are you satisfied?”
Gu Chenyan: “What if I say no?”
Qiao Shu glared at him sternly. “Then Mr. Gu will lose such a diligent and adorable Little Mr. Qiao.”
Gu Chenyan pondered.
Qiao Shu stared at him.
After a while, Gu Chenyan, seeming reluctant, said, “Well, reluctantly satisfied. After all, there’s no other adorable and diligent Little Mr. Qiao in the world.”
Qiao Shu nodded in satisfaction. “That’s more like it.”
He kissed Gu Chenyan on the cheek.
The two lay cuddled together in the tent, speaking softly.
Qiao Shu: “When I was a child, my dad also took me camping. We brought a tent and climbed to a high mountain just to watch the sunrise the next day. I was too small to climb the mountain, so my dad carried me on his shoulders. That position, high up on my dad’s shoulders, was my favorite place.”
Gu Chenyan listened earnestly to Qiao Shu’s story. Imagining the cute image of young Qiao Shu melted his heart.
Gu Chenyan: “I really want to see what you looked like when you were little.”
Qiao Shu blurted out. “That’s nothing. I was adorable and took lots of photos when I was a kid. There are plenty of pictures, just wait…”
“Wait for what?” Gu Chenyan asked.
Qiao Shu faltered. Where would he find photos of his childhood? He was transmigrated, after all.
“What’s wrong?” Gu Chenyan asked.
Qiao Shu blinked, feeling a bit disappointed. “I suddenly remembered that all those photos were gone. I can’t find them.”
The original owner had them, but Qiao Shu didn’t want to show Gu Chenyan the original owner’s childhood photos. Even though they looked exactly alike, that wasn’t him. He didn’t want to show someone else’s photos to Gu Chenyan. Gu Chenyan could only see his own!
Gu Chenyan paused. His lips tightened briefly, then he gently embraced Qiao Shu, kissing his forehead. “Don’t be sad. We can take lots of photos in the future. We’ll keep taking them until we’re old and gray.”
Qiao Shu’s attention was caught by Gu Chenyan’s description. He imagined the two of them with white hair and wrinkled faces, laughing uncontrollably.
“Will all our teeth fall out when we’re old?” Qiao Shu asked.
Gu Chenyan hesitated. “Probably?”
Qiao Shu couldn’t help but cover his mouth. “Then won’t I become really ugly?”
“No, you won’t,” Gu Chenyan reassured him.
“Huh?” Qiao Shu looked puzzled.
“Even when you’re old, Little Mr. Qiao will still be the cutest old man,” Gu Chenyan said with a smile.
Qiao Shu snorted.
He laughed so hard while lying in Gu Chenyan’s arms that he was out of breath. “Mr. Gu, your filter is too thick.”
Qiao Shu: “Where’s the cuteness in being old?”
Qiao Shu: “My skin will become all wrinkly, like old tree bark, and maybe I won’t even be able to stand up straight.”
Gu Chenyan, unusually stubborn and childish, said, “Regardless, my Little Mr. Qiao will still be the cutest old man when he’s old.”
Qiao Shu laughed.
He rolled over and lay on top of Gu Chenyan, holding his face in his hands, his eyes shining. “Mr. Gu.”
He leaned down and gave Gu Chenyan’s mouth a peck. “You’re the most handsome old man too.”
Qiao Shu: “We’re the most compatible old men.”
The two smiled at each other.
After laughing for a while, Gu Chenyan hugged Qiao Shu tightly around the waist, then suddenly asked in a serious tone, “Qiao Shu, will you leave me?”
“Huh?” Qiao Shu was surprised.
“Will Little Mr. Qiao leave me without a word? Will you disappear and leave me unable to find you?” Gu Chenyan’s tone was solemn.
Qiao Shu was taken aback. He didn’t understand why Gu Chenyan suddenly asked this, but he could sense the suppressed unease in Gu Chenyan’s eyes.
That hint of unease made him ache inside.
“No!” Qiao Shu replied firmly. “Little Mr. Qiao loves Mr. Gu the most. I would never leave Mr. Gu. Without Mr. Gu, Little Mr. Qiao would be very sad, extremely sad. So I won’t leave. No one can make me leave Mr. Gu.”
This question had crossed Qiao Shu’s mind before. After all, he came from another world through transmigration, making him an outsider in this world. However, after marriage and with the deepening of his bond with Gu Chenyan, along with the appearance and birth of their child, Qiao Shu could feel his ties to this world growing stronger.
He wouldn’t suddenly leave this world.
Nor would he suddenly leave his Mr. Gu or their child.
His home was here.
“Alright,” Gu Chenyan said.
He caressed Qiao Shu’s face, his expression gentle yet tinged with a hint of obsession. “Little Mr. Qiao, remember the words you said tonight. You won’t go back on your word, will you?”
“Yeah,” Qiao Shu affirmed.
“If you break your promise,” Gu Chenyan continued, his tone turning dangerous, “I’ll find you and tie you up.”
Gu Chenyan: “Keep you imprisoned.”
Gu Chenyan: “So you can’t escape.”
His voice carried a menacing tone.
Qiao Shu gulped nervously.
It was a bit thrilling.
With a sudden burst of courage, he licked his lips, propped himself up with his elbows on Gu Chenyan’s firm chest, and moved his hands together, offering them.
Qiao Shu: “Do you…?”
Blushing, he tentatively and eagerly suggested, “Should we try it once?”
Gu Chenyan’s eyes instantly darkened.
Qiao Shu looked at him.
The two remained silent, the air around them heating up with their gaze.
Qiao Shu couldn’t help but swallow hard.
“Okay.”
The man’s husky voice resonated softly inside the tent. With the sound of a buckle, a belt was pulled out.
