CFMWWOM Chapter 64

Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding’s laughter stopped abruptly as they were startled.

Their faces turned red.

Qiao Shu looked up.

He saw Gu Chenyan approaching with a cup of orange juice, and he happily walked up to him.

Gu Chenyan stopped in front of Qiao Shu, handed him the orange juice, and affectionately pinched the back of Qiao Shu’s neck.

Qiao Shu allowed Gu Chenyan to pinch him. He happily took the orange juice, took a heavy sip from the straw, and then showed a satisfied expression.

Gu Chenyan: “What were you saying about running away with the ball just now?”

Qiao Shu, who was drinking orange juice, was caught off guard: “They just asked me what I would do if you cheated on me.”

Qiao Shu: “I said I’d run away with the ball.”

Gu Chenyan: “Cheated on you?”

His gaze swept over Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding.

Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding looked at each other, then glanced at the sky and the ground together, pretending they were invisible.

Gu Chenyan withdrew his gaze.

He looked at Qiao Shu and said seriously, “That hypothetical scenario won’t happen, Qiao Shu. I will never betray you.”

Qiao Shu smiled: “Of course I know.”

“But running away with the ball doesn’t sound bad either.” He chuckled, “When I come back from abroad years later, I will have a genius son by my side. His face resembles the richest man in Haicheng, Gu Chenyan, making the whole city crazy!”

Qiao Shu: “It’s fun!”

Gu Chenyan pinched Qiao Shu’s cheek.

Qiao Shu: “Ah.”

Qiao Shu looked at Gu Chenyan discontentedly, puffing his cheeks. “Why did you suddenly pinch me?”

Gu Chenyan said seriously, “Thinking about running away with the ball is not allowed. Even if it’s fun.”

Qiao Shu muttered, “Domineering.”

Gu Chenyan replied, “Hmm.”

Qiao Shu couldn’t help but laugh.

The orange juice quickly disappeared.

After quenching his thirst, Qiao Shu started to tease. He pouted and glared at Gu Chenyan, implying something as he said, “You were so slow just now. I was really thirsty.”

Gu Chenyan: “…”

Gu Chenyan: “Sorry.”

“I met…” He couldn’t recall the name. He hesitated for a moment, then continued, “Yan’s daughter.”

Qiao Shu blinked. “Her again?”

Qiao Shu: “What did she want from you?”

Gu Chenyan chuckled softly. “Did Little Mr. Qiao really not see?”

Qiao Shu hmphed. “I don’t know.”

Qiao Shu: “How could Little Mr. Qiao know about others’ affairs? Little Mr. Qiao was really thirsty just now, waiting for the orange juice impatiently.”

Gu Chenyan softened his tone. “It’s my fault.”

Gu Chenyan: “I shouldn’t have let Little Mr. Qiao wait so long.”

Qiao Shu didn’t actually wait that long at all. After they walked over, Gu Chenyan quickly resolved the situation with Yan Nini, but he was still a little upset.

Qiao Shu hmphed again. “What did she say to you?”

Gu Chenyan replied lightly, “Just some unimportant things.” He lowered his head and looked at Qiao Shu seriously. “I turned her down.”

Gu Chenyan: “Don’t be upset.”

Gu Chenyan: “Okay?”

Qiao Shu blinked.

He lowered his head and finished the last sip of orange juice. His voice softened a bit, apparently feeling better. “I want to hear.”

Gu Chenyan complied.

Gu Chenyan had barely stepped out of the banquet hall door with his orange juice when he was intercepted by Yan Nini.

Gu Chenyan circumvented her.

Yan Nini continued to intercept, her face reddening as she said, “Mr. Gu, I have something to tell you.”

Gu Chenyan replied, “Sorry, I don’t have time.”

“I… I like you!” Her confession sounded louder due to her nervousness, and Qiao Shu and the others waiting at the corner heard it.

Gu Chenyan stopped in his tracks, his gaze cold as he looked at the bashful Yan Nini. His voice was icy, “Miss Yan, I am married. Please respect yourself!”

Yan Nini: “Is it that Qiao Shu? He’s useless. Just now he…”

Gu Chenyan’s voice grew even colder, “Miss Yan! Knowing when to stop is a commendable trait. Moreover, not every man is like your father.”

Gu Chenyan: “Sorry, please step aside.”

Gu Chenyan put his arm around Qiao Shu’s waist and led him back to their original spot. “That’s it.”

“Pfft!”

“Pfft”

Qiao Shu turned around in confusion.

Unable to contain themselves, Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding laughed with their hands over their stomachs. “Hahaha, Old Gu, your words are really sharp.”

“That Miss Yan must be feeling so embarrassed.”

Gu Chenyan replied calmly, “I didn’t notice.”

Qiao Shu blinked in confusion.

Fu Ding, eager to gossip, explained to Qiao Shu, “Sister-in-law, maybe you don’t know yet, but while Mr. Yan flies the red flag at home, he has other affairs outside, including a love child. And recently, he even planned to bring that love child into the family. Old Gu’s words really hit home.”

“Brilliant!”

Fang Zhouyou remarked, “Tsk tsk, a well-bred young lady learning all the wrong things. But it seems Mr. Yan also wants you, Old Gu, to be his son-in-law.”

Fu Ding added, “Just look at the enthusiasm with which he introduced his daughter to Old Gu. If he doesn’t have an ulterior motive, who would believe it? That old man probably thinks everyone is like him, shameless.”

Fang Zhouyou assured, “Sister-in-law, rest assured. Our Old Gu is definitely committed to you.”

Qiao Shu looked at Gu Chenyan.

Gu Chenyan glanced lightly at his two friends, and their chatter immediately ceased.

He soothingly pinched Qiao Shu’s neck. “Don’t listen to their nonsense.”

He paused for a moment. “Except for the ‘committed to you forever’ part.”

Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding fell silent.

Qiao Shu couldn’t help but laugh.

But he quickly stifled his laughter and pitifully asked, “What if he really wants to introduce his daughter to you?”

Gu Chenyan replied, “He wouldn’t dare.”

Gu Chenyan: “Be good. Don’t think about these irrelevant people. Are you bored? Do you want to go home?”

Qiao Shu asked, “Can we go home now?”

Gu Chenyan nodded. “Yes.”

Qiao Shu thought for a moment and asked eagerly, “Can I have two more pieces of cake before we go home?”

Gu Chenyan hesitated but said firmly: “No, you can’t.”

Gu Chenyan: “The portions today have been excessive.”

Qiao Shu pouted, feeling sad. “I just got jealous earlier.”

Qiao Shu: “It was a really unhappy kind of jealousy.”

Qiao Shu: “Can’t I have cake when I’m feeling so down?”

Qiao Shu: “Even Zai Zai wants cake.”

Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding had to suppress their laughter.

Gu Chenyan sighed, “How about something else? Didn’t you say you wanted to eat grilled fish yesterday?”

Qiao Shu hesitated, his mouth watering with anticipation.

Gu Chenyan added, “And you also wanted braised chicken feet, right?”

Qiao Shu’s eyes lit up, and he stood up excitedly. “Let’s go. We’ll go eat grilled fish and chicken feet together!’

As they left, Mr. Yan still tried to keep them there with a smile. But Gu Chenyan declined directly.

He took Qiao Shu by the arm and led him out.

After taking a step, Gu Chenyan stopped and turned back to Mr. Yan. “I hope Mr. Yan can teach his daughter some manners.”

Mr. Yan: “…”

Gu Chenyan left with Qiao Shu directly, followed by Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding.

Meanwhile, Mr. Yan, who was left behind, had a dark and unpleasant expression. However, with many guests in the hall, he had to endure and pretend nothing had happened. He continued to drink and chat with others cheerfully.

As for the guests, they all concealed their own thoughts and continued to chat and laugh with others.

However, throughout the rest of the banquet, there was no sign of Yan Nini.

After leaving the banquet, Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding were bored. So they simply continued to follow Qiao Shu and Gu Chenyan.

The four of them went to eat grilled fish together.

Fang Zhouyou led the way, claiming that the grilled fish restaurant he recommended had been open for thirty years and had amazing flavors. Everyone who had tried it couldn’t forget it and kept praising it. Once you tried it, you’d want to go back again and again, which made Qiao Shu’s mouth water.

The grilled fish restaurant was on a bustling food street, crowded with people. When Qiao Shu and the others arrived, it was the peak time for eating snacks, and the restaurant was bustling with activity.

Fang Zhouyou was familiar with the owner and quickly reserved a private room for them, leading Qiao Shu and the others inside.

After arranging Qiao Shu, Gu Chenyan asked Fang Zhouyou where he could buy braised chicken feet. After ensuring that Qiao Shu was settled, Gu Chenyan went out alone to buy braised chicken feet.

Fang Zhouyou: “Wow, Old Gu is becoming more and more domesticated. You’re really amazing, Sister-in-law.”

Fu Ding added, “Who would have thought that he used to be so unapproachable and indifferent to others.”

Qiao Shu was curious. “What was he like before?”

Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding suddenly became excited. “Sister-in-law, you don’t know! Back in school, some girls confessed to Old Gu directly, and he scared them away with just a glance!”

Fu Ding: “It happened more than once!”

Fu Ding: “I remember one time, the class heartthrob from the class next to ours…he was indeed a heartthrob, right?”

Fang Zhouyou: “That’s right.”

Fu Ding: “That heartthrob directly grabbed the microphone at the school sports meet and confessed to Old Gu in front of everyone. Guess what happened next?”

Fang Zhouyou burst into laughter: “Hahaha!”

He laughed first.

Qiao Shu became even more curious: “What happened?”

Fu Ding: “At that time, Old Gu was the president of the student union and was responsible for maintaining discipline during the school sports meet.”

Fang Zhouyou, still laughing, replied, “Well, Old Gu, hahaha, he gave the guy a demerit, hahaha.”

Qiao Shu blinked.

Qiao Shu: “Haha!”

He couldn’t help but laugh.

When Gu Chenyan returned with the braised chicken feet, Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding had already moved on from Gu Chenyan’s high school confession incident to his kindergarten days.

As soon as he entered, the two immediately fell silent.

Gu Chenyan placed the chicken feet on the table and opened the box. Qiao Shu’s eyes were immediately drawn to it, his gaze filled with desire.

He couldn’t help but salivate.

Gu Chenyan smiled and took out a pair of gloves from the bag, carefully putting them on Qiao Shu’s white and tender hands. “What were you talking about just now that made you so happy? I heard your laughter at the entrance.”

Sitting opposite, Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding blinked frantically, hinting at something.

Qiao Shu, who was fully focused on the chicken feet, didn’t notice. After putting on the gloves, he couldn’t wait to grab a chicken foot and bite into it, his voice muffled, “We were talking about those times when you were confessed to.”

Gu Chenyan: “Hmm?”

Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding pretended to be innocent as they reached for the chicken feet, feeling guilty. They even forgot to wear disposable gloves.

As Qiao Shu gnawed on the chicken foot, he sighed, “Indeed, there are many people who like you.”

Qiao Shu: “Oh, right.”

“Do you have anyone who confessed to you that left a deep impression?” He casually asked.

Gu Chenyan tilted his head.

Qiao Shu blinked innocently.

Gu Chenyan thought for a moment. “No, I don’t.”

Gu Chenyan: “No impression.”

Qiao Shu: “Really no impression? So many people have confessed to you.”

Gu Chenyan: “Didn’t pay attention.”

Qiao Shu’s tone immediately turned sour. “Who was it then?”

Gu Chenyan looked at him. “You know them, too.”

Qiao Shu was stunned.

Then his expression turned even more sour.

Gu Chenyan pinched his nose. “Really don’t remember?”

Qiao Shu said unhappily, “How would I know who has confessed to you?”

Qiao Shu: “I don’t know either.”

Qiao Shu: “How would I know?”

Qiao Shu: “I’m not with you every moment.”

A hint of amusement escaped Gu Chenyan’s throat. “The little vinegar jar got knocked over?”

Qiao Shu glared at him.

Then his eyes slowly turned red.

“You’re teasing me.” Super pitiful.

Gu Chenyan smiled helplessly. “Really forgot?” He said, “I still remember how beautifully the candle hearts were arranged that day, and he was wearing a set of white little suit.”

Gu Chenyan: “Just as handsome as he is today, which made me stunned at first sight.”

Gu Chenyan: “At that time, I thought he must have stepped out of a fairy tale as a little prince.”

Gu Chenyan: “So sweet and charming.”

Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding went from being silent to being stunned. Old Gu had such a confessor? How did he even mention it?

And his sister-in-law is pregnant!

Their eyes turned red!

They were about to cry!

Old Gu, you scoundrel!

Both of them were furious!

They were just about to speak up.

Qiao Shu sniffled. “Was he also really good at playing the guitar?”

Gu Chenyan: “Hmm.”

Qiao Shu: “Was he good at singing ‘Confession’?”

Gu Chenyan: “It’s the best song I’ve ever heard. I can remember it for a lifetime.”

Gu Chenyan: “I’ll never forget it in my life.”

He looked deeply at Qiao Shu.

Fang Zhouyou & Fu Ding: “!!!”

Oh no!

Old Gu, please shut up!

But Qiao Shu suddenly laughed, sweetly. “I allow you to remember him for a lifetime.”

Fang Zhouyou & Fu Ding: “???”

Qiao Shu said domineeringly, “We agreed for a lifetime. You must not forget.”

Gu Chenyan: “I won’t forget.”

He lowered his head, feeling his heart soften. “How could I forget?”

His kiss landed on Qiao Shu’s forehead. “This is the confession my Little Mr. Qiao gave me.”

Gu Chenyan: “It’s my most precious memory.”

Qiao Shu’s eyes curved.

Fang Zhouyou & Fu Ding: “…”

So…

Is this dog food?

Is this dog food?

It turns out the clowns are ourselves!

Farewell!

The grilled fish quickly arrived while Fang Zhouyou and Fu Ding were still indignant. They glanced at each other, turning their resentment into appetite. Without saying a word, they began to enjoy the feast.

Qiao Shu, under the rich aroma of the grilled fish, couldn’t resist his craving either.

He looked eagerly at Gu Chenyan.

Gu Chenyan took off the disposable gloves from Qiao Shu’s hands. He took out the wet wipes prepared in his pocket, wiped Qiao Shu’s hands clean, and then handed him the chopsticks.

Gu Chenyan: “Eat.”

Qiao Shu was immediately liberated.

The grilled fish at this place was indeed delicious, with generous ingredients. The fish they ordered had few bones. Qiao Shu enjoyed it immensely, especially the roe inside.

Soft and sweet, he wanted more after each bite. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much roe.

Qiao Shu’s second favorite was the fish head. Fried to a golden brown, the fish skin was flavorful, and the meat tender and delicious, with the bones crunchy.

The third favorite was the golden fried bean curd skin…

After finishing the grilled fish, the four of them parted ways.

Having enjoyed both the banquet and the desired grilled fish and chicken feet, Qiao Shu was in a great mood.

He sat in the car, unable to resist humming a song softly.

Gu Chenyan: “So happy?”

Qiao Shu nodded.

He shook his head, saying, “The greatest satisfaction in life is to eat and drink without worries.”

Qiao Shu: “And I’m even more satisfied than others.”

Gu Chenyan: “Hmm?”

Qiao Shu giggled, “I still have a husband.”

Proudly, he counted on his fingers, “My husband is tall, has long legs, handsome, wealthy, and spoils me…”

Qiao Shu: “At least for now.”

The last three words fell quietly into Gu Chenyan’s ears.

Gu Chenyan’s throat moved slightly.

Qiao Shu quickly backed away.

He sighed disappointingly, then touched his stomach with a sense of grievance. Being well-off didn’t matter now; he couldn’t enjoy it.

Unable to resist, Qiao Shu began to calculate. How long had it been since he and Gu Chenyan last made love, from his confession until now…

Almost a month.

QAQ

Gu Chenyan rubbed his head, “Want to sit up here?” He pointed to his lap.

Qiao Shu glanced over, then nodded without hesitation. If there was nothing else to do, then he’d make up for it in other ways.

He reached out.

Gu Chenyan chuckled lightly.

Then he leaned down and lifted Qiao Shu onto his lap.

Qiao Shu rested his head on Gu Chenyan’s shoulder. “Am I heavy?”

Gu Chenyan: “Not at all.”

Qiao Shu: “Really?”

Qiao Shu: “I haven’t weighed myself recently, but I feel like I’ve gained weight.”

He grabbed Gu Chenyan’s hand and placed it on his stomach. “Look, I’m getting chubby.”

Gu Chenyan gave it a gentle pat. “Not bad.”

Qiao Shu glared at him.

Gu Chenyan leaned down and kissed his lips. “My Little Mr. Qiao is too thin.”

Gu Chenyan: “Eat a bit more tomorrow.”

Qiao Shu muttered, “I’ve already eaten enough.” He poked Gu Chenyan’s chest. “My appetite doubled after we had Zai Zai.”

He sighed disappointedly, “I thought I would grow taller.”

Qiao Shu: “All for nothing.”

Qiao Shu pouted.

Gu Chenyan said, “Little Mr. Qiao is already quite tall.”

“But not as tall as you,” Qiao Shu replied.

Gu Chenyan pondered for a moment. “I saw in the fan posts last time they said our height difference is the cutest.”

Gu Chenyan: “A perfect match.”

Qiao Shu’s mood brightened. “Hehe.”

Qiao Shu: “In fact, it’s not for nothing because we have our Zai Zai.”

Qiao Shu: “Our Zai Zai!”

He lowered his head, patting his belly and talking to the baby, “Zai Zai, you have to grow up healthy and strong. Don’t let Daddy’s meals go to waste.”

Qiao Shu: “When you’re born, Daddy will take you to play.”

Qiao Shu: “There are so many fun things in this world. We can go to the amusement park…”

Qiao Shu: “There’s also lots of food.”

Qiao Shu: “Gu Chenyan.”

Gu Chenyan: “Hmm?”

Qiao Shu: “Do you think our Zai Zai can taste all the food I eat every day?”

Gu Chenyan’s gaze softened. “Yes, Zai Zai can.”

Qiao Shu smiled. “I think so too.”

The car soon arrived at Lanting.

After Qiao Shu got out of the car, the driver quickly left. He took a few steps and saw no one around, so he started to act lazy and coquettish.

Qiao Shu: “I don’t want to walk anymore.”

Qiao Shu: “My feet are tired.”

He looked at Gu Chenyan with puppy eyes.

Gu Chenyan stopped in his tracks. “Want me to carry you?”

Qiao Shu immediately smiled.

He threw himself into Gu Chenyan’s arms and obediently wrapped his arms around Gu Chenyan’s neck.

Gu Chenyan bent over and lifted Qiao Shu’s butt.

Qiao Shu held onto Gu Chenyan’s waist.

Qiao Shu: “Let’s go!”

Gu Chenyan smiled. “Alright.”

The lights were still on in the house. Aunt Lan and Uncle Zhou probably had already gone back to their rooms to sleep.

Gu Chenyan opened the door and entered the house.

He stood in the foyer to help Qiao Shu take off his shoes, then picked up the slippers Qiao Shu usually wore and put them on him before changing his own shoes.

Qiao Shu: “Are you tired?”

Qiao Shu: “Should I get down first?”

Gu Chenyan held Qiao Shu in his arms. “No need.”

Qiao Shu smiled. “Mr. Gu is so strong.”

Click

There was a sound. Qiao Shu instinctively turned his head and saw Aunt Lan coming out.

Their eyes met.

Qiao Shu: “…”

Aunt Lan: “…”

Qiao Shu froze, his face quickly turning red. Then he quickly turned around, burying his face on Gu Chenyan’s shoulder.

Qiao Shu: “Hmm.”

He pretended to be asleep.

Aunt Lan quickly realized what was happening and chuckled. She then casually asked Gu Chenyan, “Master is back. Did you have a drink?”

“I had prepared some sobering soup in the kitchen,” Aunt Lan said, then glanced at Qiao Shu pretending to sleep on Gu Chenyan’s shoulder and teasingly asked, “Is the madam asleep?”

Gu Chenyan chuckled, “Yes.”

Qiao Shu quietly poked Gu Chenyan’s back.

So Gu Chenyan said to Aunt Lan, “I’ll take Qiao Shu upstairs first, and then come down later to drink the sobering soup.”

“Okay,” Aunt Lan replied.

As they went upstairs, Qiao Shu was afraid Aunt Lan might still be watching him, so he kept his eyes tightly closed, not daring to open them until Gu Chenyan entered the room and closed the door.

Gu Chenyan said, “We’re in the room now.”

Only then did Qiao Shu open his eyes.

His cheeks were burning, and he couldn’t help but cover his face. “Ah! Aunt Lan saw that. I’m so embarrassed!”

Gu Chenyan suppressed a smile. “It’s okay.”

Qiao Shu sighed, “I’m already this old. Being carried around by someone feels embarrassing.”

Gu Chenyan reassured him, “It’s not embarrassing. I like holding my Little Mr. Qiao.”

Qiao Shu pouted.

He looked down at Gu Chenyan holding him, poking at Gu Chenyan’s chest with his finger. “I wasn’t like this before.”

Qiao Shu: “It’s because our Zai Zai wants cuddles that I’m like this.”

Qiao Shu: “Really.”

Gu Chenyan nodded. “Yeah.”

Gu Chenyan: “It’s because of our Zai Zai.”

Gu Chenyan: “Little Mr. Qiao is innocent.”

Qiao Shu nodded, “Mm-hmm.”

Qiao Shu: “It’s because of our Zai Zai.”

After a while, he couldn’t help but honestly admit, “Actually, Little Mr. Qiao also wants it a little bit.”

Qiao Shu: “But just a little bit.”

Qiao Shu pinched his index finger to indicate that it was really just a tiny bit.

Gu Chenyan suppressed a smile.

Qiao Shu said, “Really, just a tiny bit.”

Gu Chenyan nodded. “Yeah.”

Gu Chenyan: “Shall we go take a shower?”

Qiao Shu replied, “Okay.”

After eating grilled fish, both of them carried the scent of it. Gu Chenyan carried Qiao Shu into the bathroom, placed him on a small stool, and made him sit down.

Then he filled the bathtub with water.

Gu Chenyan said, “Sit properly. I’ll go get some clothes.”

Qiao Shu replied, “Okay.”

Gu Chenyan came back with clothes. He made Qiao Shu sit in the bathtub and proceeded to wash his hair.

It wasn’t the first time they did this.

Though Qiao Shu felt a bit shy, he obediently sat in the bathtub.

Gu Chenyan instructed, “Tilt your head down a bit.”

Qiao Shu nodded, “Mm-hmm.”

Gu Chenyan asked, “Do you want me to apply more pressure?”

Qiao Shu answered, “No need.”

Gu Chenyan asked, “Is the water temperature okay?”

Qiao Shu replied, “It’s just right.”

Qiao Shu: “Why are you so good to me, Gu Chenyan?”

Qiao Shu: “You spoil me too much.”

Gu Chenyan asked, “Is that okay?”

Qiao Shu: “Mm.”

Qiao Shu: “Hehe, the more good you are, the more spoiled and willful Little Mr. Qiao becomes.”

Gu Chenyan: “Not enough yet.”

Qiao Shu: “Huh?”

Gu Chenyan: “Little Mr. Qiao can be even more spoiled and willful.”

Qiao Shu: “I don’t want to.”

Gu Chenyan: “Why not?”

Qiao Shu: “What if Mr. Gu despises Little Mr. Qiao in the future? Little Mr. Qiao would be very pitiful.”

Gu Chenyan: “It won’t happen.”

Qiao Shu: “Hmph.”

Gu Chenyan: “Mr. Gu just wants to spoil Little Mr. Qiao so much that Little Mr. Qiao won’t ever think about running away with the ball again.”

Qiao Shu: “Haha.”

Qiao Shu: “You still remember that?”

Mischievously, he splashed a handful of water toward Gu Chenyan, “Stingy Mr. Gu.”

Gu Chenyan’s voice carried a smile, “Yeah, extremely stingy.”

Qiao Shu laughed heartily.

After the foam on his head was rinsed off, Qiao Shu blushed and pushed Gu Chenyan out, “I can wash myself.”

Qiao Shu: “You go wash quickly too.”

Gu Chenyan didn’t insist, “Remember to call me if you need anything.”

Qiao Shu: “Mm-hmm.”

Gu Chenyan went to the shower area on the side, and Qiao Shu covered his face, “Draw the curtain! Draw the curtain!”

Gu Chenyan helplessly draws the curtain.

Qiao Shu sat in the bathtub. He looked at the silhouette on the curtain, feeling the urge after nearly a month of abstinence.

QAQ!

Hold it in!

Gu Chenyan finished showering and changed clothes, waiting for a while before Qiao Shu finished showering.

Qiao Shu walked out in pajamas and saw Gu Chenyan’s sleepwear, revealing his sturdy and sensual chest.

Qiao Shu: “…”

His mouth was practically watering.

Forcing himself to turn away, he covered his nose and his eyes darting around. “Have you drunk the hangover soup?”

Gu Chenyan: “Not yet.”

Gu Chenyan: “I’ll go get it now.”

Gu Chenyan went downstairs to drink the hangover soup.

Qiao Shu lay back on the bed, sadly covering himself with the blanket. “Qiao Shu, hold it in.”

Qiao Shu: “Zai Zai is important.”

QAQ

This is so hard!

When Gu Chenyan returned, Qiao Shu immediately, with a sense of grievance, nestled into Gu Chenyan’s embrace, biting his shoulder.

Gu Chenyan: “What’s wrong?”

Qiao Shu’s voice sounded muffled. “Nothing.”

He squirmed.

Gu Chenyan sensed something unusual about Qiao Shu and his gaze flickered. “Are you upset?”

Qiao Shu’s cheeks flushed.

Then he nodded, feeling aggrieved. “Mm.”

Gently, Gu Chenyan rubbed Qiao Shu’s head and planted a kiss on his forehead. “Be good, Little Mr. Qiao. Don’t feel wronged.”

Qiao Shu: “Huh?”

Gu Chenyan lifted the blanket.

The next moment, Qiao Shu’s breath hitched, his eyes widened, and his fingers gripped Gu Chenyan’s hair.
