LM Chapter 77.1

Jiang Yu was taken aback, raised his head and looked around the airport, then noticed a very eye -catching Qin Shen in the crowd.

He stands tall and has deep, sharp eyebrows. When he is not smiling, he is indifferent and handsome. He was holding a soft little boy in his arms, which contradicts his image. All the girls passing by are staring at him, and some are even brave enough to try taking photos of him. He gave them a cold look, so all they could do was quickly shrink back and leave, blushing.

Jiang Yu hung up the phone and excused himself to Yu Fei, “I have a stomach ache and need to use the restroom, you can go first,”

“Then I’ll wait for you in the lounge.” Yu Fei pushed his sunglasses and left first.

Jiang Yu walked towards Qin Shen, who reached out to take the box in his hand, and stared at Yu Fei’s back with an unpleasant expression.

“He is an artist from the company who came on the show with me, and we just drove to the airport together,” Jiang Yu said, pulling his sleeve and stretching out his hand to pinch the little boy in his arms’ face, “Naonao has gained weight.”

“Did he?” Qin Shen retracted his gaze and looked at the little cub, shaking him slightly to see if he had grown heavier.

Seeing Jiang Yu, Jiang Naonao struggled to jump into Jiang Yu’s arms. Qin Shen hugged him tightly to keep him from moving. With the little cub in one hand and the suitcase in the other, he walked into the airport with Jiang Yu.

Jiang Yu’s ticket had already been booked by the program team, but he didn’t want to run into Yu Fei and the others, so he called the program team to cancel it and rebooked another flight back with Qin Shen.

After checking in, the two went to sit in the VIP lounge, when a message popped up on Jiang Yu’s phone, someone wanted to add him as a friend, with a note stating it was Li Yi Yi.

He accepted, and Li Yiyi quickly sent a message, apologizing for falling into the river before.

Jiang Yu said it was fine and asked if she had seen a snake in the river. Li Yiyi stated that she was only scared when she heard Qiao Mo scream, and she did not see any snake in the river with her own eyes.

Jiang Yu put down his phone, his heart slightly unsettled by Qiao Mo’s previous actions.

“What’s the problem?” Qin Shen was removing Jiang Naonao’s fingers out of his mouth, when he turned his head and noticed Jiang Yu’s expression was off, and asked in a low voice.

The lounge was quiet, everyone was looking at their phones or reading magazines. Jiang Yu pursed his lips and whispered, “I’ll talk to you on the plane.”

Qin Shen no longer asked. After a while, the two boarded the plane. Qin Shen was worried that Jiang Naonao was too young  to take the plane and that he would not adapt. But when they arrived, the little cub looked at the clouds outside the windows, delighted, obediently sitting in his arms, not crying or making a fuss.

Jiang Yu was holding Jiang Naonao in his arms as the plane took off. The father and son turned to look out the window together, and their movements and expressions were perfectly in sync.

Qin Shen looked at them, the corners of his mouth turned up, and a smile appeared in his eyes. Jiang Naonao became sleepy after staring at the soft white clouds outside the window for a while. He leaned against Jiang Yu’s shoulder and closed his eyes.

Qin Shen wrapped the blanket around the little one and carefully lifted him from Jiang Yu’s arms. After finding a comfortable position for the little one to sleep in his arms, Qin Shen quietly asked Jiang Yu, “What happened just now?”

Jiang Yu approached him and whispered what happened in the river in the morning.

Qin Shen frowned after listening, “Did he deliberately let you fall into the water?”

Jiang Yu had the same thought, but he had no idea why Qiao Mo had done this. Was Qiao Mo aware of his secret? But how would Qiao Mo know about it?

“Don’t worry, I’ll look into it,” Qin Shen said as he embraced Jiang Yu, rubbed his head, and kissed his hair. “I won’t let anyone hurt you,” he whispered, his eyes darkening.

Jiang Yu pursed his lips and leaned against Qin Shen’s chest, next to the sleeping little cub. He gently wiped the drool from the corner of the cub’s mouth, closed his eyes, and fell asleep with peace of mind.

When they got off the plane and got into the car, Qin Shen fastened Jiang Yu’s seatbelt and smiled at him,  “I’ll take you to see our new home.”

After driving all the way to the villa’s entrance, Qin Shen asked Jiang Yu to first stay inside the car before taking the little cub out and entering the villa. After a while, he came out alone. “Where is Naonao?” Jiang Yu asked, perplexed.

“He’s inside,” Qin Shen said as opened the car door and led him out. They walked through the garden before ascending the stairs to the swimming pool on the second floor.

Jiang Yu was taken aback when he saw the swimming pool in front of him. It was paved with fine sand that undulated high and low, scattered with shells, and home to a school of red fish that swam leisurely among the swaying aquatic plants. There are also extensive rockeries and wooded areas overgrown with moss plants. Is this still considered a swimming pool? It’s obviously a large fish tank.

Jiang Yu turned to face Qin Shen, and was about to ask him what’s going on. When suddenly there was a clatter and the fish in the water suddenly dispersed. The little cub emerged from the rockery cave and swam to the surface of the water quickly.

“Grandpa sent a fish tank to the company before, and he liked to play with the fish in it, but the fish tank was too small for him to swim around in. I thought that the swimming pool would be suitable  so I asked someone to change it,” Qin Shen said beside him, smiling.

In the swimming pool, Jiang Nanao chased after the fish scattered in all directions, playing hide-and-seek between the rockeries, and aquatic plants.

Jiang Yu was surprised and couldn’t help laughing. How could anyone transform their swimming pool into a fish tank? However, when he saw the carefree appearance of the little cub inside, he realized that Qin Shen, the father, truly had a heart.

“Do you want to go down?”Qin Shen looked at him and said.

Jiang Yu hesitated for a moment, looking at the swaying aquatic plants on the fine sand, and felt a little moved. He took off his clothes and jumped into the swimming pool.

The sound of falling into the water came from behind him as soon as he swam to the rockery. A strong arm wrapped around his waist, and another warm palm rested on his tail.

Feeling itchy, Jiang Yu whipped his tail, slapping up the water and splashing into the person behind him.

Qin Shen, caught off guard by the splashing water, simply let go of his hand, and the person in his arms took the opportunity to swim out and turned to smile at him.

Qin Shen wiped his face and chased him in the water.  Jiang Yu didn’t get far before getting caught and slammed between the rockery and Qin Shen’s chest.

The tip of his tail was caught and tickled again, Jiang Yu smiled and tried to dodge, his waist was hoisted, and Qin Shen’s cold handsome face pressed down, biting his lips. His laughter was drowned out by their kisses.

Qin Shen hadn’t seen him in a week, so he hugged him tighter and kissed him more passionately, and Jiang Yu was also dazed and forgot about his surroundings. They were getting carried away when they heard a clatter. On the opposite side, a small head emerged from the swaying aquatic plants. Each of the two small hands was clutching a flailing fish. Jiang Naonao puffed up his cheeks and exhaled a water bubble. Innocently looking at them.

Jiang Yu awoke in an instant, pushed Qin Shen away, and wiped the corners of his mouth with the back of his hand, his cheeks red.

Jiang Naonao happily swam in front of Jiang Yu and showed him the fish he had caught when the two separated.

Qin Shen pressed his forehead, depressed. He forgot that the little cub was in the swimming pool.

The two didn’t spend much time in the swimming pool with the cub present. Qin Shen had already requested that the kitchen refrigerator be stocked. After a while, the nanny returned to the kitchen to cook, and Jiang Yu went downstairs to assist her. The nanny didn’t have to stay at night because Jiang Yu was there. Qin Shen asked her to cook two meals per day so she could stay in the hospital at other times to care for her family.

After cooking, Jiang Yu asked the nanny to pack some meals to take to the hospital, and waited for the nanny to leave before he went upstairs to call Qin Shen and Naonao for dinner.

Jiang Naonao had been playing in the swimming pool for far too long, and after drinking the milk, he felt a little sleepy. Qin Shen carried him upstairs to his room before going to the bathroom to take a shower. He didn’t see Jiang Yu after he came out so he thought for a moment and poured himself a glass of red wine. He then went to the second-floor swimming pool and saw Jiang Yu there. Under the moonlight, he was submerged in the water, his arms were on the pool’s edge, flailing his tail every now and then.

Qin Shen walked to him, bent down, and placed the red wine glass on the ground.

He untied his robe, then joined him in the water.
