Ch. 7.1
Since the moment Shi Qingning expressed the will to go school, the Shi family immediately gathered together for a meeting.

Shi Qingning turned a page and continued to listen to the ever-energetic voice of the reading pen.

Shi Qingning was studying and sorting things out, because of which he found out that his current memory situation was very similar to his mastery of knowledge.
Both knew the ending, but had no foundation.

With no way out and no destination.
It’s not like Shi Qingning didn’t think about it – taking Bai Yesi directly to the Shi family to raise him was obviously the easiest and the most efficient way to solve the plot. In this way, the protagonist will no longer have to face those scumbag suitors, and no one in Haicheng will have the guts to go against the Shi family.
But if Shi Qingning chooses this method directly and roughly in order to achieve a happy ending, will it really work in the end?
Two days ago, Sun Ming said to Shi Qingning that they had assigned personnel to protect Bai Yesi’s safety – they were afraid that he would be retaliated by Jian Ren again, or that he might accidentally get into other trouble.
