The program originally had six guests, but one of them was injured and stayed at home, leaving only five members. Du Jiawei encountered Chu Ruochun once again on the same show, and not only was he unhappy about it, but he also grew more resentful towards him.

Chu Ruochun was currently enjoying the limelight in his company, with the company’s entertainment resources all directed toward him. This made the older artists feel very uncomfortable. Recently, several artists, including Du Jiawei, had expressed their dissatisfaction to their respective managers. After all, missing out on a job meant less income, and no one wanted to hurt their wallets.

However, Chu Ruochun’s backstage support suddenly became stronger. The artists who openly or subtly complained to the company didn’t receive any positive feedback, and Chu Ruochun’s position remained unshaken.

In fact, within the company, the only one who could be considered a competitor to Chu Ruochun was Du Jiawei, who was slightly older and inclined towards variety shows. He wasn’t having much luck with movies, and his TV dramas weren’t gaining viewership. He was currently maintaining his popularity mostly through the variety show “Nothing is Impossible.” If he lost that show, his career would almost come to a standstill. Therefore, when Chu Ruochun returned as a guest on the same variety show, Du Jiawei felt that his position as the “big brother” was being threatened.

Before today’s program had even started shooting, Du Jiawei asked his manager, “Why did Director Pang bring in Chu Ruochun again?”

The manager replied, “He’s been highly trending lately, and his performance in the previous episode was better than other artists in his age group. Director Pang sees potential in him.”

Du Jiawei scoffed, “I watched that last episode, and he has zero variety show sense.”

The manager added, “It could be because he outperformed Jiang Zirong in the abacus competition segment. That instantly boosted his popularity.”

Speaking of this, Du Jiawei said, “It’s all about luck.”

His manager reminded him, “I think President Jiang values him a lot. It’s better if you interact more during the show.”

Du Jiawei was displeased, saying, “Forget it. Why doesn’t he interact with me?”

The manager didn’t press further. Logically, it should have been that way.

In reality, Chu Ruochun didn’t disrespect Du Jiawei. They had exchanged greetings when they first met, but it was evident that Du Jiawei didn’t like him, so Chu Ruochun didn’t try to be overly friendly.

In this episode, the show invited seven guests, including Chu Ruochun. The other six guests included actors, singers, and variety show personalities. The twelve participants were divided into four teams for various challenges.

In the morning, they competed in intelligence, and the first segment involved a quiz competition with elementary school students arranged by the production team.

Chu Ruochun was once again teamed up with Zhou Zongyu, along with another female actress. The three of them collaborated well and won first place in the quiz competition. Zhou Zongyu asked Chu Ruochun, “How come you know all this? I don’t even know, and I can’t even beat an elementary school student.”

Chu Ruochun replied calmly, “My younger brother is in elementary school, and I have to help him with his homework every night.”

In addition to the quiz competition, the morning session also included games like riddle guessing. The team with the higher ranking would earn more points, which would accumulate for the final game segment in the evening.

In the afternoon, the physical challenges took place inside an amusement park, featuring various challenging activities. The team that completed their missions first would earn more points.

Zhou Zongyu and Chu Ruochun drew four activities: bungee jumping, a carousel, a pirate ship ride, and a roller coaster.

Every activity made everyone feel nauseous.

The female actress in their team played fiercely too, enduring even after riding the roller coaster and feeling sick. Chu Ruochun and Zhou Zongyu admired her determination.

During the daytime game segment, Chu Ruochun hadn’t seen Chu Ruolin. Director Pang had probably assigned his minor tasks for the evening.

After a tiring day, all the guests were arranged into vehicles to go to the location for the final competition in the evening.

Chu Ruochun received a message from Yang Ran, saying that he and Chu Ruolin had already gone ahead.

All the guests were exhausted, and those who could still speak were the ones with good physical endurance.

Chu Ruochun was tired too, but as he watched the sky darken, his heart became more alert.

The destination was the city library in the current city.

After half an hour of traffic congestion, the bus carrying the guests arrived at the library entrance.

Their final activity for the night was a game of hide and seek.

Zhou Zongyu asked, “Hide and seek? Is this library too big? Can we even find each other?”

Du Jiawei also chimed in, “Are there any rules or requirements?”

Director Pang shouted through a megaphone, “Today, everyone has earned points through various games. The points you have can be exchanged for three different levels of hints. The clearer the hint, the higher the points required. It’s up to your teams to decide how to use them. We have a total of twelve kids participating in this hide-and-seek game. Our staff will give each of you a card with your exclusive stamp. The stamps feature the twelve Chinese zodiac signs. The first team to find all the kids and stamp their cards completely will win our ultimate prize today!”

The guests exclaimed, “We have to find all of them?”

Director Pang was resolute, “Of course, after all, we’ve provided various hint cards that you can purchase with your points. And remember, it’s only on the sixth, seventh, and eighth floors of the library.”

The twelve guests believed it shouldn’t be too hard since the library was mostly filled with bookshelves, tables, chairs, and, of course, books, making it relatively easy to locate everyone.

However, when they rushed to the first floor, they realized that the library was much larger than they had anticipated. Even one floor was divided into two sides, including exhibition areas, book sections, and study areas. The guests expressed their surprise and admitted that they had underestimated the size and complexity of the library.

As the leader of their team, Zhou Zongyu had enough physical stamina but lacked a clear strategy for finding people. The actress in their group, Zeng Shiyu, suggested, “Shouldn’t we use our points to buy hint cards?”

Her suggestion made sense to Zhou Zongyu, who agreed, “You’re right. We have the most points.”

However, Chu Ruochun shook his head and said, “But there are twelve kids in total. We don’t even know the price of the hint cards yet.”

Zhou Zongyu responded, “Then let’s first find the card vending machine. We need to find Ruochun’s little brother at least!”

Zeng Shiyu asked, “Ruochun’s little brother?”

Zhou Zongyu chuckled, “Haha, you might not know, but his little brother is one of the twelve kids.”

Chu Ruochun didn’t hide it, “Yes, but I can find my little brother without buying hint cards.”

Zhou Zongyu was skeptical, “I think you’re bragging.”

Chu Ruochun challenged, “If you don’t believe me, I’ll take you to find him.”

Even Director Pang who was behind the cameras didn’t believe it.

Zeng Shiyu asked, “So, should we skip buying the cards?”

Chu Ruochun said, “My little brother is afraid of the dark, so I’ll go find him first.”

Zhou Zongyu pointed out, “Doing that might deprive him of the gaming experience.”

Chu Ruochun hadn’t initially considered that they would be in a library. If Chu Ruolin was left alone, he would definitely be scared.

Zeng Shiyu chimed in, “I can see that Ruochun cares a lot for his brother. Let’s go find him together. I’m curious about what Ruochun’s little brother looks like.”

Chu Ruochun led the way, and they headed confidently to the seventh floor. Along the way, they ran into the group led by Du Jiawei, who were sitting in the study area, calculating points to buy hint cards.

Despite there being only three floors, they were almost running their legs off.

Zhou Zongyu asked, “Wait a minute, Ruochun, do you know where your little brother is?”

Chu Ruochun replied confidently, “The bond between brothers, I can feel it. He’s somewhere around here.”

Suddenly, Zeng Shiyu had an idea, “Wait, we’re looking for a little brother to get a stamp. If we find your little brother first, won’t the others be able to find him through us?”

Chu Ruochun asked, “Are you suggesting we don’t look for him now?”

Zeng Shiyu nodded, “That’s what I mean.”

Chu Ruochun agreed, “Okay, then let’s split up. I’ll go find my brother first, discreetly, so others won’t notice. You guys can go figure out how to buy the hint cards.”

Zhou Zongyu reluctantly agreed, “Alright, we’ll meet on the sixth floor later.”

Then the three of them split up.

After Chu Ruochun watched them go, he turned to the cameraman walking beside him and said, “Big bro, can you follow my footsteps later?”

The cameraman adjusted the camera and nodded, indicating he could.

Chu Ruochun headed towards the seventh floor of the library, where books could not be borrowed. It was quite quiet here, but there were two program staff members stationed in this area, probably for the sake of the children, but they wouldn’t give hints to the guests.

However, Chu Ruochun didn’t need their hints at all. It might take some time to find other kids, but locating Chu Ruolin was as easy as pie.

He saw Chu Ruolin behind a sign in the architectural books section, wearing the program crew’s uniform.

In fact, Chu Ruolin was hidden behind a pile of books, and there was even a banner in front of him. Without careful observation, he couldn’t be seen at all.

Chu Ruochun handed his card to him, saying, “Ruolin, give me a stamp.”

When Chu Ruolin saw him, he was overjoyed. “You’re the first one to find me!”

Chu Ruochun ruffled his hair and asked, “Are you happy?”

Chu Ruolin held his hand and said, “Yes, I’m very happy. I’ll give you a stamp!”

Chu Ruochun then asked him, “Aren’t you scared of staying here alone?”

Chu Ruolin took his card and stamped it, saying, “Not scared at all. I’m sure everyone will find me.”

Chu Ruochun asked, “What zodiac sign are you?”

Chu Ruolin chuckled, “I’m a dragon, isn’t it written on the stamp, a dragon character.”

Chu Ruochun looked at the stamp but didn’t smile. He looked at the characters on the card and said, “Indeed, it’s the character for dragon.”

Just as Chu Ruochun was about to stamp Chu Ruolin’s neck, the three members of Du Jiawei’s team ran over to them!

Du Jiawei asked Chu Ruochun somewhat smugly, “Our team has already stamped three of them. How many have you stamped?”

Chu Ruochun replied, “Congratulations. Can I see them?”

Du Jiawei proudly raised the card in his hand. “Look, three stamps: rooster, rat, snake. What zodiac sign is this little brother?” He looked at Chu Ruolin.

Chu Ruolin obediently said, “Uncle, I’m a dragon.”

Chu Ruochun glanced at the “Chu Ruolin” in front of him.

The director clarified that the stamps were symbols, not characters.
