TSIINGAC Chapter 5

On my way back to the classroom after the boring opening ceremony in the gym, I looked for a chance to talk to Haruno.

But there were always people around her like cronies.

I never had a chance to talk to Haruno as I walked around the school to my classroom.

Then we returned to the classroom and the long homeroom began.

After the homeroom teacher greeted everyone, everyone began to introduce themselves.

The teacher asks each student to state his or her name and a few words about themselves.

“I am Akizuki Yuya.”

I was the first one to stand up and say my name.

But… self-promotion?

What should I say?

I have never told anyone about my cooking because I didn’t want to be looked at with curiosity.

It is the same with Masahiko.

“I don’t have any particular self-promotion, but I’m looking forward to working with you.”

“Hey, hey, Akizuki. It’s no good like that. If it was good enough, everyone would say so.”

As expected, the teacher interrupted me.

“Well… I’m an uninteresting guy whose only merit is seriousness and honesty. Nice to meet you all.”

“Ugh… well, that’s okay. Next.”

The teacher smiles bitterly.

Crackles of laughter emanate from various parts of the classroom.

They think I’m joking, but I take myself seriously.

It doesn’t matter. I’m serious and sincere.

 

Eventually, Haruno’s turn came.

I casually turned around and saw her standing up quickly.

Her shiny chestnut hair swung softly.

Even from a distance, her beauty was clearly visible on her well-defined face.

A gorgeous aura seemed to rise from her straightened back.

Sighs of “ah…” escaped from some boys, and even some of the girls.

Haruno’s beautiful figure is captivating to behold.

“I am Haruno Hinata.”

The classroom was suddenly abuzz as she said her name in a clear voice that was pleasant to the ears.

“Is that the famous Haruno-san?”

“She’s so cute!”

“She looks like a real idol.”

Haruno looked around at the voices coming from all over the place and gave a smile.

“Brightness is my specialty! I look forward to working with you all!”

She greeted with a cheerful voice and bowed her head.

I could hear people saying from somewhere that her cute gesture was just like the idols they see on TV.

I knew it, Haruno Hinata is amazing.

No matter how you cut any scene, it’s seamless…

Beautiful, cute, and with a great personality.

Her character is complete.

She modestly says that her brightness is her merit, but of course, she has many other merits.

The more I see her like this, the more I wonder about the Haruno I saw in the cooking class.

At that time, Haruno blushed and looked embarrassed when I held her hand.

She would never show that kind of appearance at school.

In a sense, I may have been lucky to happen upon a rare glimpse of Haruno.

I was thinking about this in a daze when I realized that everyone’s self-introductions were over.

I didn’t listen to your self-introduction at all.

 

On this day, after the opening ceremony, the first period was a long homeroom, the second and third periods were regular classes, and the day ended in the morning.

I looked for a chance to talk to Haruno several times during recess, but there was always someone around her, so I ended up not being able to talk to her.

“Yuya, let’s go home together!”

Masahiko called out to me, and we left the classroom together.

“Hey Yuya.”

“What?”

“You’ve been thinking about Haruno, haven’t you?”

“What? I didn’t.”

“You did.”

“I didn’t.”

“Yes, you were.”

Masahiko persistently questioned me as we walked down the hallway. He really is a guy who notices a lot.

Masahiko is grinning at me, so I don’t think he really means what he says.

I think he’s just having fun, so it’s better to let it slide than to get too aggressive and make him suspicious.

“I didn’t.”

I answered with a straight face, looking at Masahiko’s face as he walked beside me.

Just then, just around the corner in the hallway, I saw out of the corner of my eye someone standing with their back to me.

The impact of the person’s back hitting me with a thud echoed in my chest.

“Ow!”

“Oh, I’m sorry!”

It was my fault for looking away.

The person who hit me was a girl, and she was almost falling over, falling forward and almost touching the floor.

“Are you okay?”

I reached out my hand toward the girl.

“What are you doing? Don’t touch her!”

Another girl came up beside me with her hands outstretched, supporting the girl who was about to fall over with her hands behind her back.

The girl I hit managed to regain her footing and did not fall.

“Are you okay, Hinata?”

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

“What…?”

The girl I bumped into turned around, and it was Hinata Haruno.
