Bonus chapters 2/5
Ye Rongxu’s mouth and nose were blocked, his eyes wide open with fear, and his face turned pale instantly.
He stretched out his hands and tried desperately to grab the other’s hands, attempting to pry it apart. But soon his consciousness gradually fell into darkness and his body fell limply.
Yao Bin picked him up, took a deep breath, and showed a sinister smile.
Outside the bathroom, the cleaner pushing the cleaning cart accidentally bumped into Liang Peng, causing the dirty water in the bucket to splash on his trouser legs. The cleaner quickly apologized.
Liang Peng glanced at the party and said, “Wait, raise your head.”
The other two bodyguards also looked over here.
“Sir, I really didn’t mean it. How about I help you clean it up?” The cleaner raised his head, looking nervous.
At the same time, a nurse pushed a patient in a hospital gown and an IV drip past. The patient seemed very weak and kept his head hanging down.
In the hospital, it’s not uncommon to see patients being pushed to the toilet. Most of them are wearing hospital gowns, receiving IV drips, sitting in wheelchairs, and are weak.
Liang Peng and the other two didn’t notice. Their attention was on this cleaning staff.
Chen Jiang, who was done queueing up, came over with a large bag of medicine and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“Brother Chen, you’re here.” Liang Peng hurriedly walked to his side and whispered in his ear, “I think this person is a bit suspicious.”
Chen Jiang sized up the cleaner, who had just given him a nervous look. The other party began to avert his gaze, and the hands pushing the cleaning cart were also subconsciously clenched.
Chen Jiang’s face sank, and he suddenly asked Liang Peng, “Where’s the young master?”
Liang Peng: “The young master is in the bathroom…”
Before he finished speaking, his face suddenly changed.
“Restrain him.” Chen Jiang reacted even faster and immediately asked the other two bodyguards to hold down the cleaner. At the same time, he stuffed the medicine in his hand to Liang Peng and rushed into the bathroom.

Qin Chaoyan walked out of the inpatient building and gave Ye Rongxu a call, wanting to ask the other party where he was.
Strangely enough, the call didn’t go through.
He thought Ye Rongxu didn’t hear the phone or didn’t answer on purpose, so he called two more times. After the call still failed to go through, his face gradually became solemn. He had a bad premonition, so he immediately called Chen Jiang’s mobile phone.
Inside the bathroom, Chen Jiang looked at the empty wheelchair in front of him and the cell phone that had fallen to the floor and was turned off. His face turned ugly, and he suddenly kicked the stone steps hard, turned around, and sprinted out.
Qin Chaoyan’s phone call came at this time.
He picked up and said in a hushed voice, “Hello?”
“Where is Xuxu? Where are you?” Qin Chaoyan’s voice came quickly, with an almost imperceptible tension in his calmness.
Chen Jiang’s face was ugly, and he said through gritted teeth, “Something happened…to the young master.”
Qin Chaoyan suddenly clenched the phone, and his heart tightened.
“What’s going on?” He spoke almost immediately.
“It’s not clear yet. He should have been kidnapped. We only caught a suspicious cleaner.” Chen Jiang said concisely.
After speaking, he quickly hung up the phone, called the police, and then interrogated the cleaner.
Outside the inpatient building, Qin Chaoyan’s hand holding the phone trembled slightly. After coming back to his senses, he quickly opened the software on his phone and found out that Ye Rongxu’s location was moving through the information coming from the tracker on his necklace.
His eyes were cold, and he immediately ran to the parking lot of the hospital. At the same time, he called Chen Jiang and said calmly, “I know where Xuxu is. Go chase him first. The location is shared with you. Remember to call the police.”
“Wait, don’t be impulsive–” Chen Jiang shouted hurriedly.
But Qin Chaoyan had hung up the phone first.
Chen Jiang didn’t hesitate and immediately went downstairs and ran to the parking lot. But when he arrived, one of the two cars they drove over was missing.
Obviously, it was taken by Qin Chaoyan.
“Hey, does that kid have a driver’s license?” Chen Jiang subconsciously said, hurriedly getting into another car while calling Ye Boxuan.
Ye Boxuan was in a meeting at the company. When he received the call, his expression changed suddenly, and he almost dropped the phone.
He quickly stopped the meeting, walked out of the meeting room with an ugly face, and asked anxiously, “What’s going on? Didn’t I ask you to bring more bodyguards? And who is the kidnapper? Yao Bin?”
Chen Jiang said with guilt, “We don’t know who it is yet. The cleaner who was caught said that he didn’t know the other party. He was only given money to bump into Liang Peng and the others…”
If the culprit dared to kidnap someone in the hospital, where there’s countless surveillance, they’re either stupid or… not afraid of being found out.
The two didn’t have a good look on their faces. Ye Boxuan felt dizzy after hearing this. He had to hold the wall to stand firm.
Chen Jiang was driving after Qin Chaoyan. He took a deep breath and said tactfully, “Sir, the police should have set off too. Please think about whether you have offended anyone recently. If you want to negotiate for rescue, you may need this information.”
Chen Jiang was not sure whether the kidnapper was Yao Bin. After all, according to the information they had learned before, Yao Bin shouldn’t be in Jiangcheng now.
But it didn’t take long for the police, who arrived at the hospital, to access all the surveillance and inform the situation—the kidnapper was Yao Bin.
Ye Boxuan felt dizzy, and his head was buzzing with anger. At the same time, he was just as perplexed as Chen Jiang.
What on earth was Yao Bin going to do?
The police informed Ye Boxuan of the situation and also asked him whether he had offended Yao Bin.
After much consideration, Ye Boxuan realized that the attempted kidnapping incident had caused some resentment between the Ye family and Yao Bin. But that was what Yao Bin deserved. It was only natural for him to go to jail for breaking the law.
If he had to say it, the matter that could offend Yao Bin was probably the fact that he dispatched Yao Bin’s labor service to another city some time ago.
Ye Boxuan was having a headache thinking of Ye Rongxu’s situation. He was fearful, regretful, and worried.
The police have rich experience in handling cases and quickly asked, “Do Yao Bin have any family members? Have you had any contact with his family?”

When Ye Rongxu woke up, his arm ached.
He quickly recalled what happened before he fell into a coma. He dared not open his eyes and closed them tightly, with his eyelashes trembling restlessly—until a slightly hoarse voice came from the side: “Open your eyes when you wake up.”
Ye Rongxu froze, then closed his eyes tighter, curling up like an ostrich.
The man seemed to laugh softly and walked towards him slowly.
Ye Rongxu froze completely, then curled up tighter, trembling slightly with fear as if a beast was approaching.
“Don’t be afraid; I won’t hurt you for now.” Yao Bin’s voice unexpectedly softened, and he even raised his hand to stroke his thin back, like comforting a frightened kitten.
Ye Rongxu felt like he was electrocuted and hurriedly dodged to the side. At the same time, he couldn’t help but finally open his eyes.
In front of him was an unfinished abandoned building, which no one had visited for a long time. The surroundings were empty; the walls were incomplete with red bricks and cement randomly piling up, and a few tufts of weeds grew in the corners.
Ye Rongxu’s clear eyes were full of fear and panic. He didn’t know which floor it was and could only judge based on the height of the trees in the distance. The number of floors should not be low.
Even so, he didn’t dare to look at Yao Bin but quietly moved to the wall pillar next to him that wasn’t cemented, his clothes and face rubbing into the dirt.
This disheveled appearance is pitiful, yet moving.
Seeing that the other party tried his best to avoid him, the smile on Yao Bin’s face gradually subsided and his expression turned cold.
After a while, he also moved his position, like teasing a cat, and squatted in front of Ye Rongxu again, looking down at the young master’s avoidant eyes with amusement. “Are you afraid of me?”
Ye Rongxu glanced at him quickly and lowered his head again. His white and delicate palms propped up on the dusty concrete-covered ground and continued to move to the other side of the wall pillar.
Maybe knowing that he couldn’t walk or run, Yao Bin didn’t tie him up.
Noticing that he remained silent and only kept his head hidden, Yao Bin became even more interested.
He didn’t move this time and instead waited until Ye Rongxu finally reached the other side of the pillar before moving a few steps, easily squatting in front of Ye Rongxu again and looking at him mockingly.
“You…” Ye Rongxu endured again and again but couldn’t hold back a trace of anger from appearing in his beautiful eyes.
However, remembering that this man was his kidnapper, he quickly suppressed it.
Yao Bin smiled as if reminiscing: “Yes, that’s the look. I like how proud you look, as if nothing can enter your eyes—beautiful yet thorny. Then when you are brought down from your high horse, you could only glare at the other person in anger, unable to do anything, pitiful and helpless.”
Ye Rongxu held back for a long time but still couldn’t help cursing: “Pervert.”
Yao Bin laughed softly, looked at him, and slowly recalled the past: “Do you still remember the time when we first met? Back then, you also looked down on everyone, as proud as a little peacock. At that time, I fell in love with you at first sight, but unfortunately…”
Unfortunately, because of his inferiority complex due to the difference in status, he only dared to step forward and pretend to flirt with him in a corny manner to hide his true emotions.
Then, as expected,
“The way you looked at me at that time was like looking at garbage.” Yao Bin said casually.
Ye Rongxu looked scared but couldn’t help being angry in his heart: Why shouldn’t I? Who would give perverts a good look?
Moreover, for someone like Yao Bin who came up as a sleazy, impolite talker, if it wasn’t for the fact that he was later followed and nearly kidnapped by this person, Ye Rongxu would have forgotten about him long ago.
“But how did you end up with that kid surnamed Qin?” Yao Bin looked at him; his tone suddenly changed to a desolate one.
“I’ve done my research. He’s also a poor kid with nothing in possession. On top of that, he’s an illegitimate child, poorer than my past self. He didn’t starve to death when he was a child, only because of the help from his neighbors.” Yao Bin murmured, “If I had known that you could accept such a low-status person as a boyfriend, I would have…”
Ye Rongxu wanted to endure it; after all, the most important thing about being kidnapped is not to anger the kidnappers, especially a moody “neurotic” kidnapper like Yao Bin.
But after hearing this person’s slander, he snapped and said in a low but imposing voice, “He’s different from you.”
Yao Bin suddenly looked at him and asked, “What’s the difference?”
Ye Rongxu lowered his head and immediately kept silent, fearing to anger him.
Seeing this, Yao Bin said to himself, “Even though I come from a poor background, I rely on my own hands to make a living. I earn more than him, not only to support myself but also to support…”
At this point, his voice froze, and his face suddenly turned cold.
Ye Rongxu retorted in his heart: There’s a lot of differences.
Qin Chaoyan was indeed poor before, but he didn’t do anything illegal. He made money by his hard work. Moreover, Qin Chaoyan has good character. He would never become a gangster like Yao Bin, who flirts with others in a frivolous manner.
Although Ye Rongxu was usually raised like a greenhouse flower by his family, when Yao Bin went in, he also learned that Yao Bin’s history of making a fortune was his history of breaking laws and regulations when he was a gangster. However, he hadn’t become an adult back then, and his crimes weren’t serious, so he was usually just educated after being arrested.
Yao Bin didn’t seem to think so. He stared at Ye Rongxu and continued, “If I hadn’t been in prison, wouldn’t I be the same as him? Except he has a rich father, but that father of his doesn’t care about him. In the end, he had what he had today, all thanks to you.”
Ye Rongxu: “…”
He glanced at the other party and whispered in his heart, Nonsense, Qin Chaoyan has good academic performance. If Qin Jingxu hadn’t obstructed him, he would have been admitted to university long ago. Don’t flatter yourself.
Yao Bin suddenly moved closer to him and asked again, “So what do you like about him? If it weren’t for your help, he would be like me now, a poor nobody. The only thing better than me is that he has no criminal record. But if you accepted my pursuit back then, I wouldn’t have a criminal record, let alone…”
Ye Rongxu hurriedly dodged back, a little disgusted.
But he didn’t dare to anger the other party too much. After holding it in for a long time, he finally said, “He looks better than you.”
Yao Bin was stunned, and it took him a long time to react and say, “What?”
Seeing him retreat a few steps, Ye Rongxu mustered up his courage and said loudly, “I said, Qin Chaoyan looks better than you; I like his good looks.”
Outside the abandoned building, Qin Chaoyan had just walked into the community when he vaguely heard the shout. He froze in his footsteps for a moment, quickly locking the general direction, and immediately pushed aside the bushes to go over.
