The door to the Qi Clinic’s examination room finally opened, and a doctor in a white lab coat walked out.

Qi Heng glanced at Qi Han, who had obediently followed the doctor out. “Dr. Zhang, how did the examination go? His head isn’t damaged, is it?”

His expression was filled with concern, much like an older brother worried about his younger sibling’s condition.

Upon seeing this, Qi Han, who had just learned his true name, became even more certain. If his elder brother cared about him so much, they must have had a good relationship at home before. Why had he doubted that the people sent by his elder brother would harm him? It was a great burden for his elder brother to make this long trip.

“Chairman,” Dr. Zhang shook his head solemnly, “I’ve conducted all the tests, and I haven’t found any abnormalities in Third Master’s head.”

Qi Heng had no understanding of modern medical practices. He only knew that modern medicine was miraculous; with various instruments, it could clearly reveal everything inside a person’s body, diagnosing all ailments with precision.

However, it was surprising that even with these remarkable tools, modern medicine couldn’t determine the cause of Qi Han’s amnesia.

“So, does that mean his condition is incurable?” Qi Heng felt a bit disheartened. If he had known that amnesia couldn’t be treated, why had he made this trip?

“Perhaps Third Master’s amnesia is simply a result of a psychological defense mechanism triggered by a traumatic event,” Dr. Zhang explained. “Maybe, once he returns to a safe place and relaxes, his memories will come back.”

Qi Heng contemplated this and then turned to the bodyguard at his side. “Get the return plane tickets.”

Considering the effort the other person had put into managing the company in the past, Qi Heng decided to be polite and gracious.

Qi Heng brought Qi Han back to the coffee shop because Qi Han wanted to express his gratitude and bid farewell to the girl who had saved him. He also borrowed two thousand yuan from her, which made things a bit awkward.

“I was going to get my salary this month, but when my elder brother’s men came to find me that day, I thought they were there to kidnap me. So, I lost my money while trying to escape.”

As someone who had ordered bodyguards to chase people, Qi Heng remained composed. “It’s my fault for not instructing them properly and causing this misunderstanding.”

“No, no, no,” Qi Han quickly denied. “It has nothing to do with my elder brother. They must have misunderstood his intentions.”

My elder brother is so kind; it couldn’t be his fault. It’s definitely the fault of those ugly bodyguards who didn’t understand my elder brother’s intentions.

Qi Han brewed a cup of coffee and placed it in front of Qi Heng. “Elder brother, have a cup of coffee first. I need to talk to Su Wei.”

Qi Heng nodded, and after Qi Han left, he took a sip of the coffee. It was slightly bitter but rich and aromatic.

It seemed that Qi Han had unexpectedly learned to make coffee quite well during this time. His talent for learning wasn’t lost.

Qi Heng’s expression turned serious as he made up his mind. If Qi Han couldn’t recall his past after returning, he would give him another chance to relearn how to manage the company. If he still couldn’t get it right, he would have Qi Han come back and run the coffee shop. After all, they couldn’t let the coffee shop go to waste.

Qi Han soon returned, and it wasn’t clear what he had said to Su Wei, but Qi Heng saw that her eyes were red, and she seemed somewhat angry.

“I’m sorry to keep you waiting, elder brother.” Qi Han was full of apologies. He didn’t expect Su Wei to become so angry when he was just repaying her for these past few weeks of expenses.

If it weren’t for the fact that two thousand yuan was too little, he would have thought that he unintentionally insulted her with the way she looked.

Qi Heng placed his coffee cup down. “Now that everything is settled, let’s go to the airport.”

He stood up, and his silver-gray suit made him appear dignified and elegant. His proud and dominant demeanor made it seem like everyone should kneel before him.

Because they were standing too close, Qi Han couldn’t resist secretly comparing their heights and realized that his elder brother was actually half a head taller.

“Qi Hao!” Su Wei couldn’t hold back and called out as they were about to leave. “Don’t you have anything you want to say to me?”

Qi Han hesitated for a moment, and under Qi Heng’s scrutinizing gaze, even though there were no emotions apparent, he felt somewhat uneasy.

“Su Wei, my real name is Qi Han.”

Su Wei’s expression changed drastically. “So, you don’t want Qi Hao to exist anymore, is that it?”

Qi Han found this confusing. “Qi Hao was just a random name I used before. Now that my elder brother has told me my real name, I naturally started using it.”

“Third Master, it’s time to go,” the bodyguard urged. Qi Han didn’t linger and took long strides toward the car parked outside.

“If you like her, you can bring her along,” Qi Heng told him. “The Qi family has no shortage of money.”

“Elder brother, you’ve misunderstood. I’m just grateful to her for saving me and providing shelter for me all this time,” Qi Han hurriedly shook his head.

Qi Heng didn’t say anything more, and they traveled to the airport in silence.

They boarded the plane, and the first-class cabin had been reserved for Qi Heng’s people, so it was just him, Qi Han, and a few bodyguards inside.

Qi Han ran his hand over the seat and felt that the twists and turns of life were quite miraculous. Not long ago, he had been doing manual labor because he couldn’t afford to eat, and now he was sitting in first class.

Qi Han felt a bit restless.

“Take a look at this.” Qi Heng handed a business simulation book to Qi Han and then closed his eyes, putting on an eye mask to rest.

“Yes, I’ll study it carefully,” Qi Han quickly accepted the book.

His elder brother must have known about his difficulty finding a job and resorting to manual labor, which was why he was gently encouraging him to study more.

He couldn’t afford to disappoint his elder brother!

With these thoughts in mind, Qi Han solemnly opened the book, treating it as if he were holding a sacred text.

Even with an eye mask on, his elder brother still looked so good. No wonder Su Wei often commented on his handsome appearance.

Qi Heng removed his eye mask, opened his eyes, and looked at him. “You can really understand it?”

Qi Han nodded vigorously, trying to make his words appear as genuine as possible. “And I think the book’s content is still too basic. Some of the case studies are not rigorously hypothetical, and in reality, there are too many factors that affect a company’s development.”

Could it be that he didn’t become a complete fool after losing his memory?

Qi Heng pondered for a moment. If Qi Han remembered how to manage a company, then it didn’t matter whether he had his memories or not.

Qi Heng didn’t answer him, and after about half an hour, the car stopped at the entrance of the Qi family’s old mansion.

“Master,” the steward, Sun Yi, who had already received the news, stood at the entrance with a group of servants.

“Welcome back.”

It was like a scene from a TV drama. Qi Han remembered that there was a part in the “Domineering CEO Falls for Me” drama that Su Wei used to watch where the female lead, who had just arrived at the CEO’s house, was initially startled by this kind of grandeur. Then, the male lead CEO found her endearing because of her startled reaction.

Qi Han got out of the car with a serious expression and silently tried to recall the expression of the female lead from that TV drama. He realized that he couldn’t imitate it.

Playing with a ball… Would his elder brother find him too composed and, therefore, not cute?

“Third Master, the Master has already gone inside,” the steward, Sun Yi, noticed that Qi Han hadn’t moved and quietly reminded him.

Qi Han snapped out of his thoughts and flashed a smile at Steward Sun. “Oh, thank you for the reminder, Old Sun.”

His elder brother had mentioned on the plane that he used to be very polite. He couldn’t afford to leave a bad impression on these servants in case it reached his elder brother’s ears.

Steward Sun Yi was taken aback. Even though the Third Master, in the past, didn’t have the same cold and emotionless aura as the Master, he always had a rather cool and somewhat melancholic demeanor. There was never such a radiant smile like this!

Moreover, the Third Master had called him “Old Sun.”

Steward Sun Yi was pleasantly surprised. “Third Master may not remember me due to amnesia. My name is Sun Yi, and I’m the housekeeper at the Qi family’s old mansion. Third Master can call me by my name directly.”

As they were talking, another Land Rover pulled up at the entrance, and a young boy with tanned skin slung a backpack over his shoulder, opened the car door, and got out.

“This is Third Master’s nephew, who’s on holiday today,” Steward Sun Yi quickly introduced to Qi Han. He then went forward to take the backpack from Qi Rui’s hand and asked with a beaming smile, “Young Master, how many days is your holiday this time?”

“Four days. Steward, were you waiting for me outside, or was it just a coincidence?” Qi Rui asked and then glanced casually to the side. “Oh, Third Uncle! You’ve returned from selling coffee?”

Qi Rui sidled up to Qi Han and curiously asked, “Third Uncle, what’s going on with you? You were a well-respected CEO, but you decided to become a waiter for the sake of a woman? Even Uncle couldn’t stand it and flew all the way to bring you back.”

Qi Han had a serious expression. “You’re talking nonsense. I lost my memory and didn’t remember to come home. My elder brother was obviously worried about my safety, which is why he came to find me himself.”

His earnest rebuttal made him seem like a schoolboy.

“Lost your memory?” Qi Rui was taken aback and then extended two fingers. “Third Uncle, how many fingers do you see?”

Steward Sun Yi covered his face, showing an expression of disbelief.

Young Master, Third Master lost his memory; he didn’t lose his intelligence!

Qi Han took a step back with a touch of disdain. “You’re so foolish. I bet elder brother doesn’t like you much usually, does he?”

He decided to keep his distance from this foolish nephew; foolishness could be contagious.

Qi Han turned and walked towards the dining room, where a long table was set with various dishes.

“Where’s elder brother?” Qi Han glanced around but didn’t see him.

“The Master went to take a shower,” a maid nearby answered respectfully. As she finished speaking, footsteps were heard coming from upstairs.

Qi Han raised his head and saw his elder brother, dressed in a bathrobe, descending the stairs.

Qi Heng noticed Qi Han’s obvious distraction and said, “Wash your hands and then come to eat.”

Neither of them had eaten much on the plane.

“Uncle!” Qi Rui stepped into the room, his eyes immediately brightening. He swiftly moved past Qi Han and pounced over to Qi Heng’s side.

“Uncle! I got first place in my grade on the midterm exam!”

Qi Heng ruffled his fluffy hair. “You’ve made progress. According to the promise, I can grant you one request.”

Qi Rui was now in high school. Occasionally, he could play a game to relax. Qi Heng had initially planned to return his account to Qi Rui during high school, but he didn’t expect that Qi Rui would actually achieve first place in his grade.

Qi Heng felt a sense of pride. Some children might not reveal their full potential until they are pushed a bit.

“I…” Qi Rui suddenly became a bit bashful and hesitated. “Uncle, will you really fulfill one of my requests?”

“Of course,” Qi Heng squinted his eyes, his expression somewhere between a smile and a smirk. “Whatever request you have, including data recovery and the like.”

“Well…” Qi Rui’s ears slowly turned red. “Our school is going to have a sports day, and I’ve signed up for several events. Uncle, could you come to my sports day?”

He then looked down, feeling a bit embarrassed. “Other students said their parents would come to cheer for them that day, and I’ll also have to give a speech as the top student.”

He wanted his uncle to see how remarkable he could be.

Qi Heng was somewhat surprised. He had expected Qi Rui to ask for the restoration of his gaming account. “You don’t want the gaming account anymore?”

Qi Rui nodded hesitantly. “Though I’m reluctant to part with my gaming account, I’ve thought about it for a long time, and I still want you, Uncle, to see me at my proudest moment.”

“Besides, I can aim for first place again in the future and make more requests to you then!”

Confidence shone in his eyes.

Facing his relatively sensible and inexpensive nephew, who was more so than the original plot, Qi Heng’s mood brightened. However, seeing Qi Rui’s self-assuredness, he couldn’t help but feel a bit mischievous.

“Silly boy, I never said that I would grant you a request every time you come first in your class.”

Qi Rui, who was confident he could tackle several sets of exam papers, was left bewildered by his words. “Huh?”

Why did this turn of events not go as he had envisioned? In his imagination, after his uncle heard his words, he should have been deeply moved by his intentions, gently patting his head and encouraging him to keep up the good work!

Qi Heng enjoyed seeing Qi Rui’s expected reaction and his mood lightened significantly. Even when he brought up another matter, his tone was less icy.

“I heard that you’ve been getting close to a girl at school during this time?”

“No, no, I don’t like that ugly girl at all. She’s the one who insisted on leaning into my arms.”

As he mentioned this, Qi Rui suddenly became cautious. He knew his uncle was not the kind to tolerate early relationships; he wouldn’t dare to tempt fate.
