Thank you to BABS for the ko-fi~
The person mentioned as the next target is indeed not Sheng Minglang.
Several people breathed a sigh of relief. Lin Gousi’s heart was still pounding, and he said with a sigh of relief, “No, Sheng-ge, you shouldn’t livestream anymore. What if that lunatic has another target after this one?”
Sheng Minglang frowned, “If avoiding trouble were as simple as not livestreaming, do you think it would be that easy? The video he broadcasted last night mentioned twelve-eleven in the evening, but the incident happened at ten-eleven this morning. I think he’s playing tricks.”
Lin Gousi rolled his eyes at him and turned to Zong Yuan, “Nephew, what do you think? Should we avoid these uncertain things when we encounter them?”
Sheng Minglang just remembered that there was a little elf beside them.
…Suddenly, he became uncertain about the talk of ghosts and gods.
Zong Yuan looked at the livestream, “We should believe in science. Besides, I am an atheist.”
Sheng Minglang was directly choked by his own saliva, “Cough, cough, cough…”
Damn, that was scary!
Lin Gousi was choked by their conversation and walked away angrily.
Sheng Minglang took back his phone and checked the news. People who knew about the chef’s death had also seen last night’s livestream. The incident was getting more and more attention online, and the police were already investigating the predicted death of the main host and the next predicted death of a lady.
The next predicted victim was a female cute pet live streamer from the Cat Live platform.
Zong Yuan pointed at the woman in the photo with heavy makeup and a sweet smile, asking, “Does she have any connection with the chef?”
Sheng Minglang checked her following list, “No, I don’t see her following the chef.”
Zong Yuan brought the page back and looked at the familiar profile picture, “She’s following you.”
Sheng Minglang’s profile picture was provocatively handsome, with sunglasses perched on his prominent nose, chin lifted, and tie tugged, exuding coolness.
Sheng Minglang proudly grinned, “Can’t help it, charm is overflowing.”
Zong Yuan, displeased, glanced at the following list, then exited to check the broadcaster’s name, “Xiao Ke’ai Family,” with the note “Love dogs, love cats, love all animals in the world.”
He raised an eyebrow in a non-committal manner, then casually clicked on one of the videos.
The video was filmed in a cozy and cute pet shop. The female broadcaster, with exquisite makeup, squatted on a carpet surrounded by four or five cute dogs and cats. Each one was so adorable that it made people want to hold and pet them. The video was three to four minutes long, with likes and comments that could be considered average, a far cry from Sheng Minglang’s popularity.
Sheng Minglang lay next to Zong Yuan, watching. Suddenly, a little dog bit the broadcaster’s finger. The broadcaster endured the pain, rubbed the dog’s head to soothe its emotions, and explained to the camera, “If your pets behave like this, you must not be aggressive with them. Gently soothe their emotions; this will make your pets trust you more.”
“It looks so gentle,” Sheng Minglang commented, “I don’t like cats and dogs at all, too troublesome.”
Zong Yuan’s ears twitched, annoyed. “Why don’t you like them?”
Sheng Minglang looked at him, “Why are you so excited? You’re not a cat or a dog.”
He took off the hat that Zong Yuan had put on when opening the door for Lin Gousi, “I just checked. Tiger ears are tiger ears. Can’t I like tigers?”
He hugged Zong Yuan’s shoulders and leaned on him with force, nearly hanging on Zong Yuan. Zong Yuan gently caressed his waist, afraid he might fall, “Be careful.”
So Sheng Minglang carefully kissed Zong Yuan’s pair of ears.
Warm and tender, a kiss from him would make them smartly twitch and smile, incredibly cute!
He then kissed Zong Yuan’s head and rubbed his earlobes together, “You are my little elf.”
“…” Zong Yuan sighed, pulled his wife down, and accepted this somewhat coquettish nickname, “Hmm, you’re mine.”
Satisfied, Sheng Minglang answered Lin Gousi’s question about takeout while cautioning, “I don’t want spicy!”
During these meal intervals, he kept Zong Yuan inside, showing him some glamour shots he had taken in the past. Suddenly struck by inspiration, he ran to the living room, found the camera, and brought out a pile of provocative clothes from under the bed.
Holding the camera, Zong Yuan watched Sheng Minglang changing clothes and asked, “Aren’t you wearing this outside?”
“I’m not one of those flirtatious chicks,” Sheng Minglang casually unbuttoned a row of buttons on his clothes, “I’m only flirtatious at home. No one saw it before, but I’ll show you in the future.”
Zong Yuan found a torn piece among his pile of clothes and threw it to him, “This one is even more provocative.”
Sheng Minglang looked at him disdainfully, “Do you think this kind shows off? The crucial parts are well covered, without any highlights. Even that fishnet one is better.”
Zong Yuan’s mouth twitched, “Is there an art to being revealing?”
“Of course,” Sheng Minglang laughed again, “You wouldn’t understand; you’re not a 0.”
Zong Yuan picked up the camera and took a picture of him, “Little flirt.”
The photo captured Sheng Minglang’s radiant smile.
When the takeout arrived, Lin Gousi called them out. During the meal, news surfaced that the “Xiao Ke’ai Family” pet shop had been investigated by the police. Broadcasters who increased exposure for their shops like this would publicly disclose the location. Zong Yuan thought for a moment, “After dinner, I’ll go check it out.”
Sheng Minglang readily agreed, “I’ll go too.”
Lin Gousi was speechless at their response, “Someone has already died, do you not know that? A dead person! Can’t you stay far away?!”
Zong Yuan gave Sheng Minglang a look, and Sheng Minglang pointed to a candid photo next to the pet shop in the news, “Look, Doggie, the waiter in this store next to the pet shop.”
Lin Gousi glanced over, “What’s going on?”
“Here, so handsome,” Sheng Minglang said, “I already have a boyfriend. Don’t you think you should find one too?”
Originally attracted by the handsome guy, Lin Gousi dropped his chopsticks in shock. He looked back and forth between Zong Yuan and Sheng Minglang, “You, you guys! Damn it, Sheng Minglang, did you really make a move?!”
Sheng Minglang chuckled, “Isn’t it all because you encouraged me?”
Lin Gousi couldn’t believe it. He blinked at Zong Yuan, “Nephew, are you really in a boyfriend relationship with your uncle?”
Zong Yuan raised his index finger and shook it, “Not boyfriends.”
Lin Gousi said, “I knew it. This guy has such high standards; he couldn’t possibly get into a relationship in just a few days.”
Sheng Minglang frowned at Zong Yuan, his gaze as if he was looking at a heartless betrayer, “You haven’t eaten, and you’re already denying me? What’s wrong with me? Is my waist not slim enough or are my legs not long enough? Or is my butt not perky enough?”
He grabbed the ashtray aggressively, though his fingers were trembling.
Zong Yuan said, “Not a boyfriend, it’s a husband, right, honey?”
With a thunderous revelation, the atmosphere exploded, leaving the two stunned.
Sheng Minglang even blushed, an unusual sight for him. He shyly smiled at Lin Gousi and then turned around, diving into Zong Yuan’s embrace, “Husband~”
He almost wanted to add a few more waves.
Zong Yuan’s sensitive ears were nearly tortured by him. He patted the person in his arms, “Alright, get up for your husband.”
Sheng Minglang, with a shy demeanor, sat next to Zong Yuan. He insisted on sticking arms to arms, thighs to thighs.
Lin Gousi just came to his senses and saw their affectionate display. He felt both disgusted and inexplicably envious. In this circle, calling someone a husband was a big deal. People were afraid of hurting their own hearts. Sheng Minglang’s current state made him worried that he might get hurt, yet he envied him for being able to entrust his heart so fully.
He half-jokingly reminded them, “You’re not married, why call each other husband and wife? It sounds childish to me.”
Sheng Minglang looked at his husband, listening to his response with full trust.
Zong Yuan kissed his fingertips and observed Sheng Minglang’s fingers curling unnaturally. He smiled and said, “We’ll get married after I graduate from college.”
With a bang, fireworks bloomed brilliantly.
Sheng Minglang’s heart and eyes were filled with Zong Yuan. He was so excited that he couldn’t find words. After a while, he managed to say, “How many years until you graduate?”
Zong Yuan, being a freshman, had a chaotic mind and couldn’t even calculate four years.
Zong Yuan’s voice was soft, “Four years.”
There were still four years to get married.
There were still four years until they could get married.
Four years seemed long, yet so short.
Sheng Minglang didn’t know what he was daydreaming about. He stared blankly at Zong Yuan, completely discarding the usual provocative remarks he liked to make. He just dryly said, “Really good.”
Even Lin Gousi looked at him in surprise.
After finishing their meal, the three of them prepared to set off. Sheng Minglang felt happy inside and, in a particularly sincere manner, chose a pair of jeans that accentuated his buttocks. The selection was quite eye-catching.
Zong Yuan directly picked out a loose-fitting top that covered the buttocks for him. Was he being this generous?
The location of “Xiao Ke’ai Family” was near the southern part of the city, which should be the only commonality between this female streamer and the chef—they both lived in the southern part of the city.
Zong Yuan had mentioned the wild forest, and Sheng Minglang was particularly concerned. During the car ride, he used his phone to check. Z City was surrounded by mountains, with scattered trees, but dense forests were rare.
As they were about to reach D City from the southern part of the city to the north, there happened to be one such place.
Due to local news, when they arrived at “Xiao Ke’ai Family,” the place was already crowded with people.
The police had left, and the remaining crowd was just there for the excitement, hoping to catch a glimpse of any remaining camera opportunities. The ones who actually entered the store were few.
Because the female streamer had followed Sheng Minglang, Zong Yuan directly held Sheng Minglang’s hand and had him hide behind him. Sheng Minglang, fully equipped, obediently followed behind Zong Yuan, discreetly scratching his husband’s palm with his pinky.
Upon entering the store, Zong Yuan furrowed his brows, and he coughed softly from being choked.
His sense of taste was sensitive, and what made him uncomfortable was not the smell of the pet store but the strong perfume odor used to mask the pet’s scent.
With just a sniff, his impression of the female streamer plummeted.
Animals dislike strong odors.
Author’s note:
Let’s unveil a mystery!
Today, while queuing up to board the train, someone who seemed to be a chief steward was directing outside, “Small tickets board from there!!! Large tickets board from this side!!!”
An old man who had just leaned against the window to check his ticket said to him with a grievance, “This side is for small tickets.”
The chief steward continued coldly, “Over there! Over there!”
And sure enough, it was a mistake OTZ
The people in the entire train car squeezed towards this side for small tickets and that side for large tickets, sobbing in satisfaction.?(▼ヘ▼#)
