Three days later, the First Military Academy sent the mission objectives and reward details to the intelligence brains of every candidate who passed the initial selection at the First Military Academy.
The time to proceed to the mission location and complete the task had arrived.
Ken hurriedly returned home from the military headquarters. Zong Yuan had already prepared everything for the journey, with his male parent and two younger male siblings behind him. Hishin and LanDe had been crying all day.

Kyle frowned. “A’Yuan! Come back safely.”
Hishin and LanDe cried again, approaching and hugging Zong Yuan. “Little brother, Dad scolded us that day, but it’s really dangerous. Can you not go?”
“Don’t leave us.”
Ken frowned. “Hishin, LanDe, stop saying these things.”
He looked at Zong Yuan. “Is everything packed? How come there’s so little stuff.”
Zong Yuan replied, “Commander Ji Xing prepared the rest for me.”
Ken sighed in relief. “That’s good.”
He took out a silver cylindrical necklace from his pocket and put it on Zong Yuan. “This is the coming-of-age gift your male father prepared for you in advance. Inside is an advanced mech made three years ago.”
Ken looked at his male offspring, still unable to express the sentimental words in his heart. He thought that should be enough. If his child hated him, it must be because they wouldn’t want to hear him say more. If his child loved him, they would surely understand his love.

He actually agreed and took pride in it.
Ken felt like he couldn’t catch his breath. Kyle walked to his side, looking worriedly at the distant and now disappeared figure. “Ken, if my offspring comes back safely but fails to complete the mission, I hope you can treat him with comfort.”
“Of course,” Ken sensed that something was wrong, “Lord, how do you think I would treat him?! I love him!”
“Yes, you love him,” Kyle admitted, “but in A’Yuan’s heart, or my eyes, I can’t see your expression of love for him.”
Ken was stunned for a moment and couldn’t help but defend himself, “I just…”
‘I’m just worried that A’Yuan hates me, so I dare not get close to him, care for him, or show concern for him.’
Ken took a deep breath and suppressed the regret in his heart. “Lord, after A’Yuan comes back, I will talk to him properly.”
He will apologize to his offspring properly after A’Yuan returns.

The one-month mission officially began today.

Seeing Ji Xing silent and thoughtful, Zong Yuan sighed, “Come here.”
Ji Xing walked over and sat beside him.
Zong Yuan pinched his chin, looking at Ji Xing, and suddenly leaned in to kiss him.

In Ji Xing’s dark eyes, a huge surprise suddenly burst forth.
Zong Yuan said, “When I say kiss me, you have to kiss me. If you don’t obey, then I’ll have to kiss you instead, understand?”
Ji Xing silenced him by covering his mouth.
