QTEBS Chapter 58

Grad(End)

No one knew who killed the Count’s family.

Seth was tied up by Zong Yuan and placed in a guest room, while Grad followed him closely. Looking at it this way, there seemed to be very few potentially dangerous individuals causing a stir. The real test would come in eleven days.

Speaking of Seth, locking him in a guest room didn’t seem very polite.

Zong Yuan went to Grad’s room and brought out dinner. The corridor was quiet. He remembered Seth being locked nearby. Opening the door, he found that Seth had already freed himself from the ropes, leisurely lying on the bed sipping red wine. It was unclear where he got the equipment.

As expected, Zong Yuan leaned against the door, observing him. “Mr. Seth, I hope we can get along peacefully.”

Seth, originally intending to sneer, was surprised after looking at him. “Grad didn’t bite you?”

Zong Yuan touched his neck, smiling subtly. “My darling naturally couldn’t bear to bite me.”

Still very enthusiastic, as irresistibly attractive as ever.

Although Seth had a bad relationship with Grad, he knew Grad’s temperament well. Grad had an extreme preference for novelty, and Selth thought he had already broken the record by staying by this human’s side. He didn’t expect that he hadn’t tasted it yet…

It shouldn’t be like this. Which vampire could resist that kind of temptation?

Zong Yuan looked at him with an expression of disbelief, caring little whether he believed it or not. “Mr. Seth, if you want to leave, I won’t stop you. But if you stay for a day, you have to behave yourself. I hope you take my warning to heart.”

After saying this, he ignored Seth’s displeased expression and walked into the room with the meal tray.

After opening the door, he exchanged a gaze filled with anticipation with Grad.

Grad had heard his footsteps long ago. “Zong!”

He half-sat up, the blanket sliding off him, revealing his mottled upper body. Zong Yuan placed what he had in his hands on the table, teasing, “Darling, are you trying to seduce me?”

Grad innocently replied, “I’m not.”

While saying he wasn’t, his long legs stretched and moved under the blanket, rubbing against Zong Yuan’s thighs as he stood by the bed.

Zong Yuan grabbed his ankle through the blanket, pressing his entire body down. “Hungry or not?”

He couldn’t smell any scent of blood on Grad. He was concerned that Grad might be hungry.

Grad, feeling guilty for bringing quite a bit of contraband, replied, “Not hungry.”

He stole a few glances at Zong Yuan, afraid he would sense something was off. Trying to act tough, he continued, “As a powerful vampire like me, going without food for a few days is nothing.”

His remarkable fickleness meant that even when alone, he’d lose interest in the next meal after being full. Unlike Seth, who, if he liked a human’s blood, would drain them dry.

Zong Yuan didn’t inquire about the bloody scent he had detected in Grad’s room earlier. He coaxed Grad, “Really not hungry?”

Grad hesitated, “…Okay, just a little.”

After smelling Zong Yuan’s scent, how could he bring himself to drink anything else?

Humph, he wouldn’t drink any other blood!

Zong Yuan rolled up his sleeves, saying, “If you’re not willing to drink my blood, it’s a shame. I don’t want you to drink someone else’s blood either. Do I have to watch you starve to death?”

He picked up the dinner knife from the tray, and despite Grad’s “don’t!” he forcefully dragged it down. His physical strength was different from an ordinary person’s, and with such force, only a light wound remained in the end. Bright red blood surged from the wound, filling the entire room with an irresistible scent.

Gladrad hurriedly snatched the knife from him, his fangs uncontrollably emerging. However, he was distressed to death. “What should I do, what should I do? How do I stop the bleeding?”

Zong Yuan said, “If you don’t drink, the blood that’s dripping will go to waste.”

He pressed the wound against Grad’s lips, soothing him with a deadly gentleness. “Grad, be good.”

Trembling, Grad licked the blood that curled down from Zong Yuan’s hand, grumbling in a pitiful and muffled voice, “Big villain…”

How much do you want me to like you?

Is giving you my whole heart enough?

The blood in his mouth was the most delicious Grad had ever tasted in his entire life. After cleaning the blood from the surface, he hastily raised his head. “Zong, I’m full!”

Zong Yuan frowned, preparing to pick up the dinner knife and deepen the wound, but Grad couldn’t bear it and almost cried.

What manners, what maturity.

After getting to know Zong Yuan, he felt like a child among humans.

The more he lived, the more childish he became. Crying for what? Embarrassing.

Vampire tears, transparent and cold like those of normal humans, made Zong Yuan sigh. He kissed the teardrop on Grad’s eye. “Grad, why are you crying?”

Disgusted with his own childishness, Grad choked back his sobs and said intermittently, “Why did you hurt yourself… wu wu!”

Grad! You’ve lived for so many years in vain!

Unable to bear watching Zong Yuan harm himself, he felt more distressed than when he was seriously injured.

How could this be?

They’ve only known each other for a few days!

Looking at Grad’s pitiful and adorable appearance, Zong Yuan’s heart softened. He gently lifted him up. “Grad, when you first came here, you were a mysterious and beautiful guest. How did you become a little crybaby now?”

0046 muttered, “Isn’t it because you spoil them?”

Every time, Zong Yuan’s target becomes more and more childish. A three-year-old child? Forget it, don’t insult the intelligence of three-year-old children. In the end, they all regress to the embryo!

Grad’s blue eyes stared at him. “Your hand is injured, and you’re still holding me?!”

Zong Yuan firmly held him. “I’ll put you down when you stop crying.”

Grad widened his eyes even more. “Who said I was crying?”

As they chatted, the sky had darkened. Zong Yuan, holding the ice-like Grad, fell asleep. After making sure Zong Yuan was asleep, Grad gently got up from the bed. By the moonlight, he earnestly kissed Zong Yuan. Then, he opened the door and went downstairs.

Seth’s room was pitch black, with only a pair of red eyes emitting an eerie glow. Seth took Grad’s suitcase, pulled out carefully preserved canned blood, and complained, “Not fresh at all. Why should I force myself to drink this kind of blood?”

Grad completely ignored him. After watching him drink a cup obediently, Seth stopped him in time. “Grad.”

Grad halted.

Seth continued, “You’ve already drunk that human’s blood?”

Grad nodded.

Seth figured out his intentions. “Are you planning to turn him into a vampire?”

“He must stay by my side,” Grad spoke resolutely.

Seth scoffed, “Human love always disappears quickly.”

Grad’s face turned serious, and he warned Seth with a fierce tone, “Seth, if I hear such words from you again, don’t blame me for being unkind.”

His pupils also glowed with red, and even from his aura, he exuded the frightening presence of a wild beast.

“Look at yourself,” Seth shook his head as if lamenting, “If that human sees you like this, how will it look? Hmm, my dear little Grad?”

Grad suppressed his anger, snarled at Seth, and turned to go upstairs to find Zong Yuan.

Damn Seth, still as annoying as ever.

Seth reluctantly drank two cups of blood that had been left for a while. He couldn’t stomach it anymore. In such a vast mansion, with so many fresh and fragrant blood sources, he had to drink this kind of low-quality blood, which was truly unpleasant.

However, Grad was so serious about it, and he didn’t want to be chased by him like a mad dog for some time, oh, and that cruel human.

Thinking about it, it was really like mad dogs being a perfect match.

Grad quietly went up and down the stairs, took off the big shoes that belonged to Zong Yuan on his feet, and wrapped himself in Zong Yuan’s embrace, sighing comfortably.

Warm and cozy, Zong was truly wonderful.

The Count and Countess returned to the mansion just before lunch the next day. Sino stood in the hall with a puzzled look, watching Zong Yuan and Grad sitting together. “Cousin, did I forget something?”

And why are you so close to Grad? …No, they seemed to be close from the beginning.

When the Count and Countess entered the hall and saw this scene, they sorted out their clothes before coming over. “Sino, why don’t you sit down and talk?”

Grad said, “The Count and the Countess are back.”

The Count and the Countess looked over following his words. A red glow flashed in Grad’s eyes, and the Countess paused for a moment before smiling, “Grad, how are you feeling?”

The Count shook his head at Zong Yuan, “Why did you let Grad accompany you on such a long journey? If something happens to the child on the way, what will we do?”

Zong Yuan, “…”

He openly embraced Grad’s waist, “Baby, what have you done again?”

Grad also frowned, “I don’t know, I just hypnotized them into seeing what they most wanted to see.”

It seems that Aunt and Uncle saw Grad pregnant.

As for Seth, it was even easier. His resemblance to Grad was not a joke. Zong Yuan was afraid that Seth, this dangerous individual, would threaten the Count’s family, so after lunch, he began to resign.

He spoke grandiosely and directly brought up Grad’s “pregnancy.” Countess could no longer stop him, only reminding him to take good care of Grad’s health.

Sino, in a daze, always felt a bit uncomfortable. He went forward to bid farewell, “Sister-in-law, goodbye.”

Grad hinted with satisfaction, “Sino, goodbye. Oh, that rabbit in my room is for you.”

Zong Yuan didn’t go too far. He needed to be prepared in case it wasn’t Seth. Thankfully, the weather remained clear, giving Zong Yuan face.

Seth was once again given a blood bag by Zong Yuan. Finally, he couldn’t bear it any longer, “Why do you restrict me?!”

Damn humans!

Zong Yuan took out a pocket watch and politely said, “It’s now in the middle of the afternoon, eight hours away, and you can do whatever you want.”

Seth rolled his eyes and bit into the bag fiercely.

Grad refused to frequently drink Zong Yuan’s blood, so Zong Yuan gave him a blood bag. Speaking of which, it was a bit regrettable. His inner evil thoughts about raising a vampire lover who could only accept his blood seemed to be dashed.

Eleven days passed completely.

0046 cheered, “Yes, it’s him!”

“Success! Zong Yuan! Yeah!”

In the middle of the night, Zong Yuan stopped working, and Grad’s trembling voice rang out, “Zong…”

Zong Yuan kissed his crimson lips with a smile.

He continued working.

Grad, holding onto his neck, half shy and half expectant, said, “Zong…”

“Yeah?”

“Can you… finish inside…”

I, f*ck, ah!

Author’s note:

This uke… Let Zong face him himself!

Next world! Charge towards the fierce ghost! Let’s go! Ahhh!
