QTEBS Chapter 91

Mummy(8)

This is a weekday update that I wasn’t able to upload yesterday or the other day.

You can say anything bad about a man, but you can’t say he’s incapable.

The mummy’s expression was too obvious. Zong Yuan had been considering whether to continue before. But now, he felt that if he let the mummy go, he wouldn’t be a man.

Zong Yuan raised his chin towards the room in front of him, confidently saying, “Let’s go! I’ll sleep with you for three days and three nights!”

As for aphrodisiacs and toxicity, mummy—Brother Yuan tells you, none of these are needed. Brother Yuan can still make you ecstatic without them.

The mummy is indeed a magical species, at least Zong Yuan’s mummy is quite magical. The bandages were torn off by Zong Yuan and himself, revealing content that was very satisfying and excellent.

The skin is also very elastic. When Zong Yuan presses the mummy against the wall and kisses him, he can still feel the mummy’s softness.

Very environmentally friendly, self-absorbing, not wasting water resources at all (smile).

The mummy’s black silk hair sticks to his face, the emerald eyes are captivated, and he embraces Zong Yuan with intermittent words, “Why are you so experienced…”

The voice is very pleasant and sexy, but Zong Yuan feels a chill behind him.

He says, “Of course, it’s practiced on you.”

His brain may not remember, but his body naturally remembers every sensitive spot on the mummy. He loves the little black spot on his buttocks. Whenever he touches it, the mummy no longer behaves like a mummy.

The night quickly passes.

The people of Ramaghi are accustomed to getting up early. Larry prepares food early, and Irene volunteers to call Zong Yuan, “Brother, wait for me!”

Larry looks at Irene’s back and sighs, “Irene…” This girl is good in every way, but she is too stubborn. Larry also understands her inner thoughts. Zong is an excellent man, and people always want to claim unowned things for themselves. Alas, if it weren’t for the accident at DuPont River, Zong might really have become his brother-in-law.

What a pity.

Irene ran to Zong Yuan’s residence. The mysterious figure knew well, and the only separate dwelling on the shore where Ramaghi lived was given to Zong Yuan. Irene knocked on the door, “Zong, it’s time for dinner!”

No one answered her from inside. For some unknown reason, Irene quietly pushed open the door. The long-unused wooden door made a series of creaking sounds, and Irene’s heart thumped, “Zong—?”

No one.

The mummy overestimated himself. He had not experienced desire before, and like 0046, he thought it only consumed physical strength. That’s why he felt deeply disappointed now, after enduring the whole night. His energy was already scarce, and the feeling of flying in the clouds had become exhausting. When the morning sunlight shone through the door crack, the mummy weakly nudged Zong Yuan, “It’s dawn.”

Zong Yuan, still thinking about “three days and three nights,” couldn’t let go of his male dignity. He turned the mummy over again, saying, “I know you haven’t had enough fun yet; it’s still early.”

The mummy didn’t want to face it anymore. “Enough!”

Zong Yuan asked slowly, “Had enough fun?”

The mummy nodded quickly, then suddenly burped, covering his mouth. He mumbled unclearly, “Full.”

His other hand hung weakly on the bed, fingers slender and pale, with faint bite marks. Zong Yuan grabbed that hand, firmly holding it in his palm, and spoke in his ear. The mummy clearly heard the laughter in his voice, “Feeling so empty?”

“…” At this moment, the mummy understood Zong Yuan’s previous feelings.

One hand had to cover his mouth to prevent burping, the other hand gripped by Zong Yuan, eyes rippling like water. The redness at the corners of his eyes was anything but dignified. With both hands occupied, the mummy directly bumped his head mercilessly against Zong Yuan’s forehead.

Zong Yuan, “…”

Really damn ruthless.

A few small spiders sneaked in through the door crack, standing by the bed. Their tiny eyes roamed between Zong Yuan and the mummy, emitting a creepy aura that filled the entire room.

Zong Yuan tossed the white cloth strip from the mummy’s bed to them, heartlessly commanding, “Clean it for me.”

The little spiders fumbled around in the cloth for a long time before dragging it pitifully towards the door.

The mummy looked at his white cloth and the spiders, feeling sorry, but Zong Yuan draped a black robe over him. “Now, the outside temperature is rising. Go check if you can take a bath.”

Although bathing in the desert seemed a bit extravagant, based on yesterday’s observation, Skanda’s water source seemed endless.

Zong Yuan carried the mummy into the nearby forest, spiders swiftly clearing the way ahead. The mummy gestured, and a snake descended from a tree, its tail wrapped around a yellow and red fruit.

The mummy took the fruit, wiped it on the black robe, and offered it to Zong Yuan’s mouth. “Zong, eat.”

Zong Yuan took a bite, “It’s a bit like an apple. Can you eat?”

The mummy counted the number of times he chewed, watched his Adam’s apple move, and then handed it over again, nodding gently, “Yes, I can eat.”

But it will be very uncomfortable.

Zong Yuan paid attention to whether there were any ingredients around that could be used as a seasoning, “In a few days, I’ll catch a fat little thing and roast it for you.”

The mummy’s lips curled up, “Okay.”

The spider led them to a deep water source, about 5 square meters in size, with the blue sky and white clouds exposed above, without tree branches covering it.

Zong Yuan held the mummy tightly, squatting down. He tested the temperature with his right hand and exclaimed, “Warm.”

The mummy calmly nodded, face unchanged and heart unfluttered, “Sun exposure, I guess.”

Zong Yuan made a splash and threw him into the water. Watching the mummy splash a few times and stand steadily, he squatted down beside him, narrowing his eyes and smiling, “Sun exposure?”

The mummy turned his head guiltily, burying his entire face in the water. He didn’t need to breathe, and not a single bubble emerged on the water’s surface.

The pool wasn’t large, but it had a depth of about two meters. Skanda was so magical; in its hands, the desert seemed like a weak little chick.

The mummy looked at the water’s surface. Soon, a hand reached into the water. The mummy saw Zong Yuan’s fingers gently hooking under the water and couldn’t help but lean over.

Hooking onto Zong Yuan’s fingers, then being pulled to the water’s surface.

Several small spiders from before also sent over white cloth strips. Zong Yuan dampened the cloth and rubbed it against the white cloth strip, “Where’s the laundry detergent?”

A few spiders pulled out their reluctant companions buried in the weeds. They were similarly brownish spiders covered in a thick layer of white laundry detergent. They left a trail of white powder as they crawled, probably just wandering in the detergent. Zong Yuan was speechless. He pinched the spider onto the white cloth, rubbed it a few times, and let it go.

The mummy watched Zong Yuan washing his clothes in the water, “… I’m still bathing.”

Zong Yuan, “You even find fault with your own clothes?”

If someone had told Zong Yuan a few days ago, “Just wait, in a few days, you’ll be in bed with a mummy! You’ll willingly kiss and hug him while doing laundry!” Zong Yuan would have probably glared at them, ready to unleash his fury. However, now, he found it hard to believe himself. Zong Yuan, willingly stands next to a mummy, watching him do laundry, feeling peaceful and willing.

Zong Yuan’s method of washing clothes and washing vegetables was always the same. The white cloth strip, usually well taken care of, was now being kneaded into an unrecognizable state in his hands. Wearing it like this, he probably needed an iron.

The mummy looked at the side of Zong Yuan’s face. His emerald green eyes were gentle as he softly spoke, “Zong, I want underwear.”

Zong Yuan, with foam on his hand, patted the mummy’s head, seemingly impatient, “Stop being cute.”

When Zong Yuan returned to his place, he knew someone had been there. He went to find Larry, who was tidying up the room. Larry saw Zong Yuan and exclaimed with joy, “Zong, you’re back!”

“Yeah,” Zong Yuan looked around, “Where’s Irene?”

“She went to see a friend,” Larry looked at him, cautiously asking, “You weren’t home this morning. Were you with the king?”

Zong Yuan nodded, understanding Larry’s concern. He smiled, “Don’t worry, Larry, he’s fine.”

Larry thought about the king’s imposing appearance yesterday and the poison that had been closely watching him before. What’s good about him… it’s kind of scary, no matter how you think about it!

Zong Yuan said, “Larry, did Irene come looking for me this morning?”

Larry nodded in confusion. Zong Yuan acknowledged with an “oh,” then changed the topic, “Larry, have you heard of Skanda before?”

Larry shook his head, and sighed, “Our people from Ramaghi rarely go beyond the DuPont River. Who would know about a place like Skanda? Besides, there are hundreds of oases in the desert, all at considerable distances. We just found out there’s one here, let alone knowing it’s called Skanda.”

To say it plainly, Skanda is not considered a top-tier oasis; it has no fame in the desert at all.

After contemplating for a moment, Zong Yuan suddenly asked, “Who was the person that led us to Skanda that day?”

Larry replied, “Edgar Gissing.”

Edgar Gissing was a man in his forties, of average height, with a large bald patch on his scalp. In his youth, he, along with a group from the town of Ramaghi, ventured out towards the southwest cities near the DuPont River region. However, a year later, he returned alone to Ramaghi.

It was said that the second day after leaving the DuPont River region, Edgar encountered a massive tornado. Many companions were injured or killed, some went missing, and most were buried beneath the yellow sands.

Edgar faced numerous life-threatening situations within that year before successfully returning to Ramaghi.

Zong Yuan and the others found Edgar by Skanda Lake.

Seated on the ground, Edgar, with Larry and Zong Yuan by his side, handed them two cigarettes. “Young fellas, what brings you to me?”

Larry glanced at Zong Yuan, and Zong Yuan directly asked, “Have you heard of Skanda?”

Edgar put the cigarette in his mouth, reluctant to light it, and waved his hand. “How would I have heard of Skanda?”

Zong Yuan frowned, “It was you who brought us to Skanda.”

“Yes, it was me,” Edgar sighed, looking at the shimmering lake before him, muttering, “Who would have thought we would end up in Skanda.”

Zong Yuan asked, “…Wasn’t Skanda your original destination?”

Edgar remained silent for a while and nodded.

Larry took in a sharp breath.

It had been more than twenty years since Edgar left the DuPont River. He vaguely remembered one or two oases in this direction, but Skanda was definitely not one of them.

The lake at the center of Skanda was too dazzling! Anyone who had seen such a radiant oasis wouldn’t forget it.

“You didn’t go to Skanda back then,” Zong Yuan confirmed with him, “You didn’t go in the wrong direction?”

Edgar burst into laughter, “Young man, you can’t forget the direction to a life-saving oasis!”

Larry patted his chest, “Oh my god!”

Was it fortunate or unfortunate?

If the previous oasis here no longer existed, and Skanda was also gone…

It would be terrifying!

Larry sincerely said, “Thank goodness for Skanda!” He nudged Zong Yuan, who was silent beside him, “Zong, don’t you think so?”

Zong Yuan, looking at the lake in front of him, stood up from the ground and touched the moist sand around the lake. Larry looked at him strangely, “Zong, what’s wrong with you?”

Zong Yuan grabbed a handful of sand, stood up, and walked to Edgar. He looked at the lake in front of him, his eyes deep. “You said you hadn’t heard of Skanda.”

Edgar was puzzled, “Yes, I really haven’t.”

“Oh,” Zong Yuan opened his hands, and the mud and sand in his hands fell through his fingers. He asked slowly again, “Have you heard of a moving oasis?”

Edgar was completely stunned.
