When Xiao Wang received the order from the small boss and carried the expensive dessert to the private room where Liao Hui was, Liao Hui was lecturing his sister who couldn’t speak at the moment. 

“Can you speak? What do you mean by I like him? Don’t make me sound like Dengtu Zi (A Famous lecherous character). I just came here to thank him!”

Liao Lan blankly glanced at her Gege. She didn’t believe this excuse from her Gege, if there is no other meaning, with her understanding of her Gege, he wouldn’t have come to this small restaurant that had old scores against him. She also did not argue with her big brother, just gently hummed, as a way to express her disdain for Gege’s statement.

Liao Hui looked at his sister who did not give him a face, and wanted to argue with her for a few more sentences. Just at this time, the sound of something moving outside the door, his eyes bright, so he was also unable to attend to or manage the morale of his Mei Mei or lecturing her, and hastily sorted out the clothes on his body before he waited for the arrival of people at the door.

Upon seeing this,  Liao Hui’s face only showed a few smiles, and he was also a little more polite toward the waiter, “Thank you for your hard work.”

It was a casual question, and I didn’t expect to hear any surprising news, but who knew that after she asked, the waiter nodded and said very seriously, “Young miss is really smart, apart from the small boss, there is indeed a big boss in our shop.”

The waiter hurriedly waved his hand and refused, “Gong Zi, you are welcome. This is one of our jobs or duties.”

Just as the waiter finished delivering the items and was about to go out. Liao Hui and Liao Lan each picked up a jar of pudding and ate it. Liao Lan suddenly stopped her mouth from eating so happily, and had spare time to ask, “That, I have a question I’m really curious about.”

Liao Hui’s action of eating dessert paused, and a few not so good premonitions vaguely arose in his heart, “Who is that big boss of yours?”

“The big boss is the gentleman at the front desk who is responsible for collecting money.” When the waiter said this, he didn’t wait for them to continue asking, so he told them the relationship between Chen Xing and Gu Lang, “The small boss and the big boss are married couples, only because the small boss is younger, so we all call him the small boss.”

Just as the waiter finished speaking, he heard a soft ‘snap’ sound, only to see that young master standing dazedly in place, that sound was made by the spoon that fell from his hand bumping into the jar.

The waiter seemed to have seen this scene in front of him so often that it didn’t seem strange at all (to be well accustomed to it), so he shook his head and greeted them, before then he left the private room. 

Only after the waiter left did Liao Lan turn her gaze toward her Ge, only to see that her Gege seemed to have accepted what the waiter had just said, and was now sitting on a chair with a tangled face. She hesitated for a moment, but still couldn’t help but softly said, “Ge, are you alright?”

Liao Hui jerked his head around to look at her, and after startling her, he said quietly, “I didn’t expect, I really didn’t think that that guy who looks very much like a clothed beast (fig. immoral and despicable person) would be able to marry such a gentle husband.”

Liao Lan recalled the man she saw when she first entered the shop, exuding an aura of precious and nobility that not ordinary person would have, and made sure that her Gege was talking nonsense out of jealousy, although she didn’t know what kind of Ger or what he looks like that this Gege of her talking about, but that kind of man was not worthy of him?
