TSBFL Chapter 69
Chapter 69.2: 牵手
[Holding hands]
When Chen Xing thought that in the future, he and Gu Lang would not only embrace, hold hands, kiss, but would even be more intimate. Gu Lang’s hands would even light fires on all parts of his body just like what was described in the novels, his whole body started to burn.
Thinking of those inappropriate contents for children, Chen Xing secretly glanced at Gu Lang next to him. He felt that if Gu Lang’s body couldn’t make it by then, he could also do the one above.
Thinking like this, Chen Xing felt his little heart thumping very fast. After all, such a beauty, then allowing him to do this and that, just thinking about it, was very exciting!
Seemingly sensing the exuberance of the person beside him, Gu Lang turned his head to look at Chen Xing who was surreptitiously sizing himself up, only to see his eyes glowing as if he was a kitten that had stolen a big fish.
Gu Lang didn’t know why, but looking at Chen Xing’s glittering eyes suddenly gave birth to a sense of thrill that he hadn’t even felt before when facing his competitors. He hesitated for a moment, but still asked out, “What are you thinking about?”
Chen Xing was jolted by his question and hastily averted his own eyes, spitting at himself for thinking so much about something when he had only had his eight characters (Eight Characters (in four pairs, indicating the year, month, day, and hour of a person’s birth, each pair consisting of one Heavenly Stem (天干) and one Earthly Branch (地支), formerly used in fortune-telling), before he then explained while feeling guilty, “I am not thinking about anything.”
Gu Lang looked at Chen Xing, whose eyes were dodging and looking left and right. He just looked at Chen Xing who did not look at himself, he finally did not press on or kept asking. He always had a premonition that the answer he asked would definitely not be what he wanted to hear.
The next day, Gu Lang and Chen Xing were accommodating each other and learning how lovers should get along with each other, stumbling to start their new life together.
However, Gu Lang and Chen Xing were thinking that their relationship had just begun, but in the eyes of the onlookers it was a different picture.
In the hall, as a waiter, Qiu Shi who waited for the guests to finish eating in between, poked Qiu Jiu next to him with his elbow, and said with a bit of confusion in his tone, “Did something happen between the master and the little boss yesterday?”
Qiu Jiu looked at him and lifted his eyelids, clearly not understanding the meaning of his sentence.
Qiu Shi stealthily pointed his finger at the two people who were talking not far away. Their master was sitting there looking at the small boss who was dancing with joy, smiling with a gentle smile. His eyes were full of the shadow or reflection of the person on his opposite side.
Qiu Jiu glanced over there and frowned, then looked at his fellow colleagues beside him who were full of surprise, and said disdainfully, ”Gongzi, are you and the little boss always so sticky like this? It’s not like it’s the first day, so what’s this fuss about nothing?!”
“No.” Being so despised by Qiu Jiu, Qiu Shi, who originally just casually said that, immediately became anxious, making him look over there and said, “Don’t you think the atmosphere between them is different? It’s just that…it’s the kind of thing where originally someone was still able to get in between them, but now just the fact that they’re standing there, yet the next person can’t get in.”
Qiu Jiu glanced at the situation over there, then looked at his fellow colleague next to him who had a tangled face, raised an eyebrow and cracked a joke, “You’re actually quite clear about it ah!”
Qiu Shi scratched his head in embarrassment and whispered, “When A Hua and A Hu next door to my house are together, that’s how it is.”
Qiu Jiu wondered, “Who is A Hua?”
Qiu Shi sighed, “My neighbor’s little sister, I used to love her. It’s a pity that after she had A Hu, we never interacted with each other again, then by the time I left, she even had two children.”
Qiu Jiu looked at Qiu Shi’s sad appearance, patted his shoulder and comforted, “Eh, sorry for mentioning your sore spot (painful memory).”
