UILS Chapter 91 (end)

Story Complete

When the college entrance exam results came out, Cheng Yue and Ji Xu were taking a leisurely walk with a giant tortoise in the forest on a mountain.

The tortoise was enormous and moved very slowly. The two villagers and tour guides accompanying them occasionally took out snacks from their small bags and fed the tortoise.

Cheng Yue and Ji Xu strolled hand in hand behind the tortoise.

Cheng Yue had once considered sitting on the tortoise’s back, but Ji Xu had pulled him away.

The signal was not very strong here, and sometimes they couldn’t even receive calls. However, as they went further up the mountain, the signal became stronger.

As Cheng Yue reached the top of the mountain and sat down, his phone rang.

Ji Xu bent down to wipe the sweat from Cheng Yue’s forehead and handed him a bottle of water, saying, “Drink some.”

As Cheng Yue held the phone in one hand and took the water with the other, a tortoise crawled over and slowly bit his sleeve.

“Hey, hey, hey!” Cheng Yue jumped up in surprise and clung to Ji Xu, not letting go.

The two villagers laughed at his reaction and quickly explained, “Don’t worry, An’an doesn’t bite.”

“But it can’t eat my clothes,” Cheng Yue said, looking worriedly at his sleeve.

The shirt was bought at the base of the mountain, and he and Ji Xu each had one, making it their couple outfit.

“Your phone,” Ji Xu reminded him.

“Oh right.” Cheng Yue answered the call without checking the caller ID.

“Hello, Cheng Yue?” Teacher Chen’s voice came through the phone.

“Teacher Chen?” Cheng Yue was surprised. Why was the teacher calling him now?

“Why couldn’t I reach you? I’ve called several times.” Teacher Chen’s tone was lighthearted.

“I’m out playing.” Cheng Yue recalled the only reason Teacher Chen might be calling him.

The college entrance exam results!

As expected, the next thing Teacher Chen said was, “Have you checked your results? Almost everyone in the class has informed me how they did. How was it for you?”

“I haven’t checked. I completely forgot,” Cheng Yue said with a somewhat embarrassed smile.

He had indeed forgotten; he and Ji Xu had been busy exploring various places these past few days.

“I checked for you because I was worried. Do you want to know?” Teacher Chen said with a laugh.

“How did I do?” Cheng Yue asked, looking sideways at Ji Xu.

When Teacher Chen finally revealed the results, Cheng Yue’s smile gradually faded.

After hanging up the phone, he sat down on the ground with a heavy sigh.

“What’s wrong?” Ji Xu crouched down to look at him.

“I didn’t do well on the exam,” Cheng Yue sighed, looking distressed. “I didn’t even pass the art exam cutoff.”

“What will you do then?” Ji Xu looked equally troubled, “Just stay home.”

“Stay home forever?” Cheng Yue asked.

“Yes,” Ji Xu flicked Cheng Yue’s forehead playfully and added with a smile, “I could use someone to cook, wash dishes, do laundry, clean the floors, wipe the balcony, and walk the dog…”

Cheng Yue: “…”

“Little liar.” Ji Xu stood up, ignoring him.

“You saw through me…” Cheng Yue chuckled sheepishly, “I think I did a pretty good job.”

“Let’s go,” Ji Xu said with a helpless smile, extending his hand. “The sun is about to set.”

Cheng Yue smiled, took Ji Xu’s hand, and stood up with his help.

The two villagers, already heading back with the tortoise, waved to them against the backdrop of the setting sun.

The tortoise also stopped and turned its head to look at them.

During their travels, Cheng Yue had visited many places. Besides the scenery and food, what he enjoyed the most was the variety of… skirts…

They were very pretty. Cheng Yue always said so whenever he received a skirt, with genuine enthusiasm.

As the school registration approached, Cheng Yue stopped frequenting his senior’s studio. Instead, he stuck close to Ji Xu, even following him to the bathroom. Ji Xu, however, was happy about it.

Tang Jing, on the other hand, was getting fed up. Every time he saw the two of them with their heads close together and hands intertwined, he would click his tongue in annoyance.

“Seriously, seriously! How long has it been since you two have been like this!” Tang Jing pointed at them with trembling hands.

“You can’t be like this! It’s causing me serious physical and psychological harm. I’m going to file a complaint against you two!”

Ji Xu raised an eyebrow, smiling disdainfully, while Cheng Yue, standing next to him, felt embarrassed and smiled awkwardly.

He wasn’t deliberately clinging to Ji Xu while he was working; he just couldn’t help but stick to him, thinking that once school started, they would see each other less often. He needed to be close to Ji Xu as much as possible, rubbing against him and touching him to feel better.

Although the school is quite close, just in the neighboring city, seeing the same person every day makes the reality hit hard—only being able to see each other once every six or seven days is tough.

This situation really wears Cheng Yue down.

Cheng Yue has no patience left.

Ji Xu, on the other hand, has been very happy and cheerful these days.

Moreover, Cheng Yue is much more obedient than before, showing no resistance and being very compliant. This makes Ji Xu even more content and at ease.

Time flew by, and on the night before school started, Cheng Yue, sweating and blushing, was riding on Ji Xu’s waist, breathing heavily.

The occasional moans Cheng Yue couldn’t suppress made Ji Xu press down harder on his waist.

Cheng Yue let out a moan, his strength completely drained, slumping against Ji Xu’s chest, allowing Ji Xu to continue as he pleased.

“I don’t want… to go to school…” Cheng Yue gasped, whispering in Ji Xu’s ear, “I just want you right now…”

Ji Xu chuckled softly, maintaining the same position, supporting Cheng Yue’s waist, and repositioning them so that Cheng Yue was pinned against the head of the bed, demonstrating through action that Cheng Yue shouldn’t be distracted.

The next morning, Cheng Yue was reluctantly dragged out of bed by Ji Xu.

It wasn’t until Ji Xu turned him around, pressed him down on the bed, and started removing his underwear that Cheng Yue gave up resisting, exclaiming, “I’m up! I’m up!”

Ji Xu gave him a sharp slap on the buttocks before turning and leaving.

Cheng Yue, feeling aggrieved, pulled up his underwear and slowly walked to the bathroom.

After they had breakfast, Ji Xu had Cheng Yue finish packing and then checked everything himself before adding a few more items. Finally, he drove them to the school.

When they arrived, it was still quite early, just around noon.

New students at a new school often look bewildered, but Cheng Yue and Ji Xu had visited this school before, and Cheng Yue saw an old acquaintance at the new student registration—his senior, the bearded Ouyi.

Ouyi, still sporting his big beard, was very pleased to see Cheng Yue and came running over. “I was just about to call you to ask when you’d arrive. I was about to pull out my phone when I saw you were already here. Why are you alone? Where’s your uncle?”

“He went to park the car. There are too many people today, so finding a parking spot was tough. I saw you and decided to get out first,” Cheng Yue said, patting his shoulder.

“You’ve grown taller!” Ouyi patted Cheng Yue’s back.

They barely chatted for a moment before they casually draped their arms around each other’s shoulders, waiting for Ji Xu to arrive.

“So, you’re still my senior,” Cheng Yue had initially been unaware that Ouyi was from the same department.

“Didn’t you know? Our department head is actually your senior… My master is the head’s disciple…” Ouyi awkwardly scratched his nose. “Ah, the generational gap between us is quite big.”

“Generational differences don’t matter. I don’t care about these things,” Cheng Yue said, patting his shoulder. “It’s like you calling me ‘Dad.’ I don’t take it to heart.”

“You little rascal!” Ouyi gave him a playful punch on the shoulder.

Cheng Yue laughed and stepped back a little, thinking about what Ouyi had just said. The department head is his senior?

His master had mentioned a few times about having a meal together, but either the timing didn’t match, or he was too busy, so it never happened. To this day, he hadn’t met all his seniors.

As the two of them were playfully pretending to fight, Ji Xu, who had parked the car and was approaching, made them stop their antics simultaneously.

“Hello, Uncle,” Ouyi greeted politely.

“Hello,” Ji Xu responded with a smile.

Cheng Yue suddenly remembered the events from the last time Ji Xu had been here. He still felt uneasy and frightened when he thought about it.

Feeling a rush of panic, Cheng Yue blurted out, “He’s not my uncle.”

Ouyi was taken aback, not understanding what Cheng Yue meant.

Even Ji Xu, who had just arrived, was puzzled by Cheng Yue’s sudden declaration.

Cheng Yue clenched his fist, took Ji Xu’s hand, and said in a low but firm voice, “He’s not my uncle. He’s my boyfriend now.”

Ji Xu’s eyes narrowed slightly, and he unconsciously tightened his grip on Cheng Yue’s hand.

Cheng Yue felt that his previous words didn’t quite convey his feelings, so he added seriously, “He’s the person I love the most.”

Ji Xu was momentarily stunned but then smiled and embraced Cheng Yue.

The sunlight was warm and gentle on their faces, and they both smiled brightly at each other.
