Chen Qian came out wearing Liu Fan’s underwear, looking a bit odd. The two were different sizes, and it was noticeably tight on him. Liu Fan mentioned, “The air conditioner in the bedroom is on,” and then dashed into the bathroom like a whirlwind. It was quite a task dealing with the smell of alcohol, sweat, and barbecue in the height of summer.
This place was just a two-room set-up, with one bedroom and one study. After taking a shower, Liu Fan returned to the bedroom, with his body still damp. The room was dimly lit, with only a floor lamp beside the nightstand providing some light. Chen Qian was lying on his bed, looking at his phone. A cooling blanket draped over his thighs.
By now, Liu Fan had long forgotten about Li Yu’s call. He dried his hair and plopped down on the bed, pulling the cooling blanket from Chen Qian’s body over himself. “Today was exhausting.”
Chen Qian raised an eyebrow but made no comment.
Liu Fan knew that what was exhausting for him was normal for Chen Qian. He turned over, feeling Chen Qian’s body heat. Hugging him in the summer was definitely not comfortable. But it felt reliable and reassuring. Chen Qian put down his phone and ran his fingers through Liu Fan’s hair. “Let’s sleep.”
Seeing Liu Fan looking up at him, Chen Qian leaned in for a kiss. The touch of clean skin against his own felt very comfortable. Liu Fan could feel Chen Qian’s body getting hotter. The masculine scent emanating from his body heat made Liu Fan unable to resist reaching out to touch him. The firm muscles on Chen Qian’s body were evenly distributed, full of masculine beauty. Liu Fan felt moved and let his hand drift lower, feeling the erection forming in Chen Qian’s underwear. It was a large, heavy bulge. Chen Qian seemed a bit uncomfortable and backed away a little. Liu Fan smiled and asked, “What’s wrong?”

Liu Fan looked at the now slightly wet white underwear. He leaned in so that his nose was almost touching the bulge, and said with a smile, “The underwear is too small.”
Chen Qian simply sat up, leaning against the headboard with his legs apart. He raised an eyebrow provocatively. “It’s yours.”
Liu Fan shifted to match his position, feeling no embarrassment. He had seen Chen Qian’s ‘equipment’ before and it wasn’t small. Now, looking at it again, he couldn’t help but wonder how big it really was. While his own was standard size, Chen Qian’s was definitely high-end.

Already exhausted and physically drained, Liu Fan didn’t want to move a finger. He lied on the bed and panted heavily. Chen Qian patted him, “Go take a shower. Where are the bed sheets?”
Liu Fan didn’t even open his eyes. He was on the verge of falling asleep.
Chen Qian pinched his cheek. Seeing no reaction from Liu Fan, he got out of bed naked. He fetched some water and a towel to clean Liu Fan, took a quick combat shower himself, and rummaged through the bedroom for a fresh sheet. Liu Fan stubbornly refused to budge.
Chen Qian decided not to disturb him further. He folded the sheet and placed it under the wet spot. “Want some water?”
Liu Fan, unable to sleep deeply due to Chen Qian’s various movements, was almost at his breaking point. He turned on his side, facing away from him, and mumbled, “Get lost.”
Chen Qian lay down, pulling Liu Fan close to him as he caressed and kissing him. The actions were filled with affection.
Liu Fan thought; Damn it, I’m going to beat someone up.
But he didn’t have the energy to say it out loud.
Chen Qian finally settled down. He embraced Liu Fan from behind. Their hearts were beating together. The room grew quiet and a warm feeling spread through both of them.
They had never asked each other if there had been anyone else during their separation. But the intimacy they shared just now confirmed it. Every touch, every response was familiar, bearing no trace of anyone else in between. It felt as if they had never truly broken up. They had merely endured a long separation.
Before their reunion, they had been lonely, each silently yearning for the other.
