Extra Chapter 09

When Xi Guican saw the increasingly dangerous trend of the comments, his brow furrowed slightly, feeling a hint of anxiety inside. So he grabbed Baldy, tousled Baldy’s soft fur a bit. Baldy closed his eyes like a kitten enjoying it, and said to Xi Guican as he stretched out on his back, “Belly too.”

Such demanding requests.

Xi Guican glanced at Baldy and, still single-handedly, rubbed Baldy’s belly. Baldy’s four little paws opened and closed, with a look of almost overwhelming satisfaction on his face.

Both of them being tigers, Xi Guican knew where to stroke more comfortably. His controlled strength was just right, more likely to win Baldy’s heart than He Ruge’s careful touches that dared not exert much force.

After tousling Baldy a bit, he looked back at the posts. The direction of the posts had already changed:

№788

What are the sisters upstairs thinking? With such delicate thoughts, how could it possibly be Marshal? If it were Marshal, that would be too sweet!

№789

Marshal and Male god Ruge are both so handsome. I really want to see how good-looking their offspring would be.

№790

Generally speaking, children born to two very good-looking people are definitely not ugly, but most won’t surpass their parents. Thinking about He Ruge’s face, I really can’t imagine what kind of beauty would be better than He Ruge’s…

Ugliness restricts my imagination.〒▽〒

№791

Would Marshal choose to have children? I feel like Marshal is so possessive, he definitely wouldn’t want another child to take away Ruge’s love…

After reading the post content, Xi Guican sighed with relief.

Right, what does Marshal and my Bobosting of offspring have to do with the poster?

Xi Guican patted Baldy’s little butt, signaling him to go play somewhere else.

Baldy stuck to Xi Guican’s arms like a little sticky cake, sadly saying, “Baba, I feel like I’m growing on you.”

Xi Guican: “…… I’ll peeled you off.”

He used two fingers to pinch Baldy’s nape and moved him out of his arms.

Baldy looked pitifully at him. If it were He Ruge, he would definitely have been overwhelmed by Baldy’s cuteness at this moment, rubbing Baldy from head to tail, making the little white tiger purr.

However, facing Baldy was a cold and indifferent big white tiger, who had also used the image of a little white tiger to sell his cuteness.

“You haven’t finished your homework today.”

Kindergarten children also has homework, including art, math, literacy, and music. However, the amount of homework was not much, and it can be finished in just over an hour as soon as you get home.

Some diligent little friends can finish all their homework at school without bringing any home. However, Baldy, at such a young age, was an early-stage procrastinator. He only cared about chatting with other cubs at school and chatting with Papa and brother when he got home.

I don’t know who he inherited this lazy demeanor from.

Obviously, he and He Ruge are not the kind of characters who talk all the time.

Baldy’s tiger tail stiffened.

“Be careful, I’ll tell your teacher that Baldy comes home and plays without doing homework, and the day will be turned upside down.” Xi Guican held Baldy and scolded him.

“I did write a little bit. I told you, before dinner, you must finish your homework, or I won’t like you anymore.”

Xi Guican said with a stern face, his stern face intimidating. Baldy was most afraid of Xi Guican among all the members in the family.

When Baldy heard Xi Guican say this, he quickly nodded his little head and said, “Yeah, yeah, yeah.”

Xi Guican gently threw the little fur ball in his hand to the ground. The round little ball fell to the ground and grew four claws, running towards Bobo’s water bed.

Bobo did not go to class, but she learned what she needed to do at home, such as music assignments, which Baldy liked to ask for help.

Baldy, this little cub, was tone-deaf and can only sing simple children’s songs well. Once they were on music open class, everyone was learning a song called “Starlight Cha Cha Cha.”

This open class had a recorded video, and Xi Guican and the others watched this music class at home.

The music teacher was a young woman, smiling, playing the piano beautifully. Her waist was straight, her snow-white neck gracefully curved, and her nimble fingers leapt quickly on the black and white keys, as if flashes of lightning and thunderous music poured out from her fingertips.

The children in the class all obediently looked up at the teacher. Baldy also tilted his head back, his blue eyes filled with admiration and astonishment.

Baldy, this little cub, feared Xi Guican at home and the teacher at school. Although mischievous and noisy like a little trumpet, he was surprisingly obedient at heart—a good baby.

The female teacher turned her head, smiling, and said, “Children, did you hear that? Thunder’s coming! Little stars, hurry out of the clouds, they want to attend the Starlight Dance before it rains~”

Xi Guican hadn’t expected the last music class to have such a storyline arranged by the teacher. He had never encountered these before and listened dumbfoundedly.

Turning to look at He Ruge, He Ruge met his gaze and whispered softly, “No wonder Baldy said school was interesting.”

Bobo hummed along to the piano rhythm the teacher played.

While singing, the female teacher also played the piano, requiring the cubs to clap and keep the beat. Whenever Baldy clapped, he either lagged half a beat or sped up by one. When everyone looked at Baldy, he covered his face with his clapping paws.

In contrast, Bobo kept the beat well. After watching a session of the open class video, Bobo could sing the entire song perfectly. It was beautifully sung, but Baldy, who was actually in class, was confused about when to clap.

Xi Guican was thinking about Baldy’s schooling when he suddenly saw Baldy running back, shouting as he ran, “Baba, baba, brother has legs now—”

Pausing for a moment, he added, “Brother wanted underwear, but he wouldn’t let me see and kicked me out. Elder brother’s mean.”

№869

Everyone, please don’t guess Baldy and Bobo’s animal forms. I’m not Xi Guican either. This is just a simple record post, please don’t bring up irrelevant people here.

Today, let’s talk about Bobo. Bobo can walk now, but we haven’t prepared pants for Bobo, so we had to put diapers on him at first.

Our whole family gathered to pick clothes for Bobo. Baldy insisted on a pair of underwear with little ducks printed on them for Bobo to wear, but Bobo thought plain white underwear was fine.

Baldy kept saying in Bobo’s ear, sometimes how nice yellow was, and sometimes how cute the little ducks were.

Bobo told Baldy, “If you like the duck underwear so much, you should wear it yourself.”

Baldy whimpered sadly and said he wanted to wear it too, but he couldn’t because he hadn’t turned into a human yet.

Maybe because Baldy kept chattering in my ear, all I could think of were Baldy’s little ducks. When Bobo took steps like lotus roots, holding the wall and swaying like us, I had a moment where I felt like Bobo really was a little yellow duck.

Bobo was starting to learn to walk, and he learned fast. After a few minutes, he didn’t need to hold onto the wall anymore. Baldy kept circling around Bobo. By the time Bobo finished one round, Baldy could run four rounds with his legs spread wide.

My lover and I stood at both ends of the road, watching Bobo walk towards us. I squatted in front of Bobo, watching him come step by step. Unconsciously, Bobo had grown so big, walking on his own.

It seemed like just yesterday Bobo was still an egg, a precious egg I could hold in the palm of my hand. Now he was so big, as tall as my lover’s knees, walking, talking, laughing, and singing on his own.

How did he grow from being so tiny to what he is now all of a sudden? I remember when he was born, he didn’t have teeth. Now, when he smiles, he shows his white, sticky rice-like teeth.

I opened my arms to welcome him, and Bobo quickened his pace, taking small steps to leap into my arms. Unlike the bullet-like Baldy, Bobo was calm in my arms. He curiously touched my chin with his hand and then put his hand behind his back a little shyly.

“Papa’s face has little grass, prickly.” Bobo evaluated my stubble this way.

My lover once said a saying from their hometown, “Wildfires cannot burn all the way, and spring breezes blow again.”

That’s how my beard was, shaved today, yet growing back in a few days. Just like those plants that have experienced the cold winter, they will grow back in the spring.

Bobo and Baldy were born in the spring, experienced summer, and were about to welcome autumn. There was a lesson in Baldy’s textbook about a little bear experiencing the changes of the four seasons in a year.

Bobo and Baldy only experienced summer. One loved spring, and the other loved summer.

Bobo loved spring.

The windows of our house were a little different, with a rectangular window similar to a floor-to-ceiling window on the wall, and a small round window above the rectangular window.

Outside the window, there’s a tall purple tree with leaves that are purple. The gentle spring sunlight falls through the layers of purple leaves of the tree, passes through the blue glass window, and turns into tiny spots of light scattered on the floor.

Bobo’s water bed is very close to the window. He reaches out his hand to try to catch the spots of light. His two soft white hands spread out, and when he turns to look at us, his curved eyes also have little dots of light.

I recalled a song my lover once sang, “Where is spring, oh where, where is spring? In the eyes of the children…”

One day, Bobo discovered a new tenant in the small round window—a swallow had built a nest there. Later, when we asked the cubs which season they liked the most, Bobo said he liked spring. He even sang:

“Little swallow, dressed in flower clothes, comes here every spring~”

As he sang, he swayed his head slightly. The swallows outside the window seemed to understand Bobo’s words and chirped in response.

On the other hand, Baldy raised his little paw and said he liked summer. It’s hot in summer, so my lover picked lotus leaves to make a little umbrella for Baldy.

Once, our whole family went hiking in the mountains. There was a small stream in the mountains, and as we walked past it that day, the croaking of frogs filled the air. Baldy found the sound of frogs fascinating for the first time, squatting by the stream and refusing to leave until he saw what creature was making such a noise.

However, those frogs blended so well with the color of the stones and the stream that Baldy couldn’t find the loud little animals.

Summer seemed so noisy like that. Walking under the trees, the deafening cicada cries poured out like a torrential rain. Fortunately, there weren’t many cicadas in the purple tree forest; otherwise, we might not be able to sleep at night. Of course, Baldy definitely slept well. This little cub has excellent sleep quality. One night when it thundered, Bobo was scared awake and needed to hold hands with us.

Baldy smacked his lips and rolled over to continue sleeping.

I asked Baldy why he liked summer. Baldy said it’s because he can eat ice cream. Baldy loves ice cream, but eating too much ice cream makes him have a stomach ache, so my lover doesn’t allow Baldy to eat too much—only one a day at most.

Baldy couldn’t stand the temptation. Once, he put the milk bottle in the freezer to freeze it, sneaking up in the middle of the night to prepare to eat his little ice cream.

Despite being afraid of the dark, Baldy, this little guy, dared to do it for the sake of ice cream. He opened the child’s flashlight mode and quietly left the room.

I thought Baldy was going to the bathroom in the middle of the night and wondered why he didn’t call me this time. Yes, sometimes Baldy needs to pee at night but is afraid of the dark and doesn’t want to wake everyone up by turning on the lights, so he wakes only me up.

How did he wake me up?

He climbed onto my stomach and sat on my neck, tapping my face with his paws.

He’s the first and only person in the world who dared to step on my face.

Although I wasn’t awakened every night, being awakened once a week by this frequency was a bit unbearable. I asked Baldy if he could learn to go to the bathroom by himself at night.

Baldy hugged my hand and said pitifully, “Baba, but I’m scared.”

One day he got up and slipped out alone. He hadn’t come back for a long time, and I worried that he had fallen into a pit. I got up to look for him. I couldn’t find him in the bathroom and was worried that Baldy had fallen down the toilet bowl.

But Baldy was so big now that he can’t be flushed down the ordinary toilet bowl. Just then, I heard a faint knocking sound coming from the kitchen.

I didn’t know what had happened, so I rushed downstairs in confusion and saw Baldy smashing the milk bottle.

The milk in the bottle had indeed frozen into milk ice. This ice couldn’t be eaten, so smart Baldy patted his little head and decided to smash the milk bottle.

I almost laughed out of anger. In reality, I did laugh. Hearing the eerie laughter in the dark, Baldy, who was happily smashing the milk bottle, was scared and trembling. He stiffly looked up at me, his expression as if he had seen a ghost, and his fur all over his body stood on end.

After realizing what had happened, he was ready to slip away, but I grabbed him and gave him a spanking.

Indeed, I hadn’t spanked him in a long time.

Not only did I spank him, but I also cut off his ice cream for a week. During that week, Baldy could only watch us eat with eager eyes. I even ate three ice creams in front of Baldy on purpose in one day.

He couldn’t stand it.

Unable to eat ice cream, his mind was filled with thoughts of ice cream. He looked up at the sky and asked me, “Baba, will it snow ice cream?”

I said no.

Baldy asked, “But doesn’t it snow in winter? Isn’t snow ice cream?”

I told him, “Snow isn’t clean and tasteless. Eating it causes more stomach aches than ice cream.”

Baldy giggled in my arms.

He said, “Baba, did you eat snow when you were little? Otherwise, how would you know that eating snow tastes bad and gives you a stomach ache?”

“When I was little? I couldn’t even see all four seasons back then, let alone see snow.”

Baldy always asks me, “Will the whole world really turn white in winter?”

I say, “When it snows, everything turns white.”

Baldy was full of longing. He thought, “If I leave my lover outside in winter, Papa will also turn white.”

My lover’s eyes and hair are nothing like Baldy’s. Baldy wants both papas to look a little like each other, like Bobo, whose eyes are like mine and hair like my lover’s.

After listening to Baldy’s silly remarks, I found it funny.

I told him, “If I really left my lover outside, then you’d only have one Baba.”

Baldy howled in confusion and asked why.

I told Baldy, “Snow is ice, and it’s very cold outside in winter. Some people could freeze to death if they stayed out in the icy snow for too long.”

“People can freeze to death. When the body is very cold, it can freeze to death. When the heart is snowy, it can also freeze to death. But Baldy doesn’t know this. He was born in spring and has only seen spring and summer, not autumn or winter.”

Baldy asked me again, “Is the earth cold? Is the sky cold? They can’t hide in the house. What if they freeze to death in winter? What if the sky collapses from the cold? What if the earth cracks from the cold? What should we do?”

Sometimes I really want to knock on Baldy’s head and see what’s inside his little brain.

In my lover’s hometown, there’s a saying, “If the sky falls, there’s a tall person to hold it up.”

I told this to Baldy. Baldy laughed happily, his blue eyes sparkling. He said, “Baba, you’re the tallest, and I’m the shortest.”

I tapped his head lightly. Baldy was delighted, as if all his worries and anxieties had been knocked away by me.

I think he really doesn’t need to worry about anything. After all, for the sake of this family, I will protect the whole world.

№870

The original poster is a good father! You don’t have to protect the whole world either, it’s too tiring. Protecting Baldy, Bobo, and your lover’s little world is good enough!

№871

Okay, okay, let’s not bring up irrelevant people. Sisters, let’s not quarrel. This thread is about the original poster’s family records. I want to see more updates from the original poster!

№872

We were supposed to talk about Bobo, but Baldy was mentioned the most. Bobo must feel wronged.

№873

Aww, I want to see a dedicated post about Bobo!

№874

Don’t be angry, OP. Next time, I won’t mention Marshal Xi and He Ruge.

№875

Baldy and Bobo are so cute. After reading this, I feel like having children (wake up, you don’t even have a partner).

№876

Why is my little brother so dumb, ugly, naughty, and stingy? He fights with me every day. Yesterday, he even bit my hand and drew blood.

№877

The person above is so down-to-earth. My little brother was like that when he was young, but one day he suddenly became sensible. During holidays, he even gives me red envelopes.

№878

I love summer too! You can wear pretty skirts in summer!

№879

I think Baldy will like winter in the future. You can have snowball fights in winter and build snowmen~

OP

№880

Today, Bobo and Baldy went to school together. The cubs aren’t at home, and the house seems bigger.

My lover said, “It feels like we’re lonely old people.”

I said, “This is our own world. We haven’t had our own world for a long time.”

During this time, I rested for a long time and took care of the children at home every day. My lover is still busy with his career, but I don’t want to do anything. I often became an animal, put his lover, Baldy, and Bobo together in his belly, and lay in the sun on the balcony.

I used to be busy and worked hard like a top when I was busy, and I never wanted to do anything of it. But when I was not busy before, I was ill and lonely.

During this time, I’ve been thinking, “What if… just what if? If my life could be rewritten, if I were born into a happy family, if I had the right to choose for myself, what would I do?”

I don’t know.

I asked Baldy what he wants to do when he grows up.

Baldy earnestly replied, “I want to open an ice cream shop, right between Brother’s dessert shop and Brother Huahua’s flower shop. We’ve already agreed to open a shop together in the future.”

This way, he can eat as much ice cream as he wants, and no one can stop him anymore.

I looked at Baldy, and Baldy looked at me.

I told Baldy, “In the future, I will watch over you, supervise you. Every day, how much ice cream you eat will have to pass through me.”

Baldy stared at me in horror, as if he were looking at a devil who would follow him everywhere.

I think after this, he might change his dream.

Speaking of following everywhere, I suddenly remembered one day when Bobo held a flower, and the flower accidentally fell. Bobo softly exclaimed.

I helped Bobo pick up the flower. Bobo didn’t immediately take the flower but softly said to me, “Baba, look, just now my shadow caught the flower. If I fall down, will you catch me too?”

I said I would.

Is a father’s love like a shadow?

Following everywhere, silent and taciturn, doing everything to catch their cubs when they fall.
