KMCF Chapter 74

Jing Li didn’t know that his accident just now caused quite a commotion.

Under the guidance of the instructor, their parachutes had safely landed on the beach of Blue Island.

After removing their landing gear, the instructor left with all the equipment, leaving Jing Li to continue the journey alone.

Fortunately, this was a designated landing point on the island, so the cameraman waiting here took over the livestreaming task for Jing Li’s personal channel and accompanied him.

“Judging by the situation, it might take a while for the others to descend.” Jing Li glanced at the tiny black dots in the sky, then called out to the cameraman beside him, “Let’s take a break and study the map provided by the production team while waiting for them.”

With that said, he sat down, opened his backpack, and unfolded the map.

“Our current location is on the beach towards the south.” As Jing Li spoke, he traced their position on the map, and the cameraman’s lens focused on the spot his finger pointed. “According to the mission, we need to find the nearest contact point to receive our mission.”

“It doesn’t seem too far from here, so it shouldn’t take too long…I suppose?” Jing Li muttered uncertainly, then folded the map.

After packing up, he glanced at the other guests who were now closer in the sky, estimating they still had some time left. He decided to stroll along the beach and enjoy the scenery.

There were no traces of anyone walking on this beach. The pale golden sand appeared soft and comfortable, making people want to step on it and try it out.

Jing Li acted on this impulse.

He removed his shoes and socks, rolling up his pant legs slightly, and carried his footwear as he stepped onto the sand, heading towards the shoreline.

The cameraman adjusted his lens to capture Jing Li’s feet.

Upon seeing Jing Li’s exposed calves when he rolled up his pants, the cameraman couldn’t help but linger a few extra seconds.

Jing Li’s physique was already close to perfection, but his long, slender legs were more incredible. It was quite impressive to look at normally but the exposed calves when he rolled up his pants instantly stunned a group of netizens and fans watching the live broadcast.

Under the dark pants, his calves were flawless and fair, almost poreless, glistening under the sunlight’s brilliant reflection.

Smoother than most women’s legs, yet without appearing delicate. Underneath the perfect shape of the calf was a thin layer of muscles, accentuated by his movements.

Further down, the delicate ankles, the equally white soles, and the ten round toes all exuded an alluring charm.

“!!! Jing Shao’s calves are so beautiful!”

“Witnessing those feet on screen, I silently retracted my own massive feet laid nearby.”

“I can’t believe a man’s legs could be more beautiful than a woman’s!”

“I’ll just say it, I really want to see Jing Shao in swimming trunks. It would undoubtedly be another leg-baring year.”

“+1 upstairs.”

……

While the livestream audience silently admired his legs, Jing Li reached the shoreline.

Gazing at the waves washing ashore, he dipped his feet into the surf, savoring the seawater lapping over his ankles before receding, enveloping him in comfortable peace.

“Now I understand why so many people enjoy the beach. Looking at the majestic blue sea, feeling the gentle caress of the sea breeze, and frolicking in the waves…it feels really good.” Jing Li smiled at the camera behind him.

In his peripheral vision, a fleeting glimmer caught his eye. Turning slightly, he noticed a white seashell embedded in the nearby sand, unveiled by the receding tide.

Jing Li let out a soft exclamation and swiftly retrieved it, rinsing it in the seawater.

The shell was about the size of a palm and was uniquely heart-shaped. It was predominantly white with a vibrant, multicolored ring towards the center. Under the sunlight, it glistened radiantly, making it more beautiful.

Enchanted by its uncommon form, Jing Li proudly displayed it before the camera with a delighted smile. “I didn’t expect to find such an interesting little treasure. I’ll keep it and take it home after we wrap up filming.”

He tucked the seashell into his backpack and continued strolling along the beach, collecting an assortment of intricate seashells and spiraling shells.

After playing like this for a while, the other guests gradually landed one after another. Jing Li concluded his seaside excursion, put on his shoes and socks, and approached the group.

Hu Li saw him from a distance, looked him up and down, and couldn’t help laughing and teasing. “Still found time to frolic on the beach, I see you’re doing just fine?”

“So, are you jealous?” Jing Li retorted playfully, arching a brow.

Hu Li burst into laughter and promptly punched Jing Li’s shoulder, eliciting hearty chuckles from both.

It could be seen that the relationship between the two people was really good.

Overhearing their banter, Su Mengran hurried over, his expression uneasy. “I’m so sorry, Jing Li. On the plane, someone accidentally bumped into me, causing me to collide with you without realizing.”

Before he could finish, Hu Feifei rushed forward, stammering, “I’m sorry. I’m the one who lost my footing and made him bump into you, causing you to fall from the plane.”

The scene suddenly turned into a large-scale apology fest, and the originally cheerful atmosphere suddenly became tense.

Hu Li’s smile faded, and he stood aside without saying a word.

Ling Mei, the last to arrive, removed her landing gear while observing the situation.

“It’s alright if it wasn’t intentional,” Jing Li calmly glanced at the two before him. Sensing their sincere remorse, as if they too were shaken, he didn’t dwell on the matter further.

Hu Li shot him a look but, given the company, refrained from commenting.

However, the two people opposite him didn’t expect his attitude to be so nonchalant, and they immediately apologized several times.

Ling Mei swiftly intervened with a smile, expressing concern for Jing Li’s well-being. Seeing he was unharmed and unfazed, she deftly defused the tension. “It’s good that no one got hurt. However, this adventure show inherently carries risks, so we should all learn from this experience and exercise greater caution going forward to avoid further accidents.”

With someone smoothing things over, the others naturally followed suit. After a brief chat, they set off together towards the mission point marked on the map.

Leaving the beach behind, they entered a patch of low shrubs. With minimal development on the private island, there were no discernible paths.

The group struggled through the dense foliage, covering a seemingly short distance yet taking nearly half an hour. Proceeding further, they entered a wooded area and finally spotted a temporary tent bearing the ‘Ultimate Survival Challenge’ logo. It should be the mission point.

“Look, up ahead!” Su Mengran was the first to see it. After such a trek, his physical strength was obviously a little exhausted. He was always reserved and couldn’t help shouting out in excitement when he saw the mission point.

The others followed her gaze and spotted it too.

They stumbled along the rugged path and entered the tent.

“Congratulations to everyone for successfully reaching the starting point of ‘Ultimate Survival Challenge’. I will now brief you on your upcoming mission and provide the necessary items.” The staff greeted the five guests warmly before continuing, “For this mission, you will have to survive in the forest for three days while searching for clues to uncover the treasure hidden on the island by the production team.”

“You can choose to undertake this mission individually or form teams. The production team will award prizes to the guest who successfully finds the treasure.”

“However, to ensure an authentic survival experience, we will only provide basic necessities like sleeping bags, bread, and drinking water. However, the quantity is only enough for a normal person to eat for two days Please plan and allocate these resources accordingly.”

“You may now proceed to collect your mission supplies from within the tent.”

As the staff finished speaking, the guests let out a collective groan.

“Sleeping bags? So we have to camp in the forest overnight?”

“Only a two-day supply of bread and water for normal consumption? Is the production team certain the men can even last that long, let alone us two ladies?”

“Won’t there be any dangerous beasts roaming the forest?”

……

Hu Li and Jing Li remained relatively composed. Hu Li even seemed excited. He researched the filming process beforehand. Otherwise, he would not be interested in this adventurous variety show.

But the only thing that concerned him was…

“Do the basic supplies include things like a lighter? And are we allowed to forage for additional food in the forest?”

Such as catching a pheasant or fish…oh, or even gathering seafood.

As a fox spirit, he couldn’t bear not being able to eat meat.

“The production team only provides basic emergency rations, but guests are not restricted from finding alternative food sources. We have obtained the consent of the island owner before recording, so you’re free to hunt within your capabilities.”

“There are no dangerous beasts on the island, and the wildlife consists of common species. Most of them were introduced here by the owner previously. So, you don’t have to worry about hunting any rare creatures.”

“However, please exercise caution with open fires in the forest to prevent any fire hazards.”

The staff patiently addressed everyone’s concerns, putting their minds at ease.

After collecting their gear from the tent, the group discussed their approach for the upcoming mission.

“Since we can form teams, I’m definitely pairing up with Jing Li.” Hu Li draped an arm over Jing Li’s shoulders, making his intentions clear before asking the others, “What are your thoughts?”

“I…I also want to team up with you both,” the timid Hu Feifei spoke up first, an unprecedented move, then turned to Jing Li with pleading eyes. “Is that okay?”
