WCG Chapter 26.1

The livestreamer you follow, Time, has become a pro player of the TLG team. (Part 1)

As soon as Jiang Shi said this, Xu fell silent, and the stream chat exploded.

[You idiot, just quit streaming already!]

[I thought asking about sleeping naked last time was bold, but I didn’t expect you to pull this stunt!]

[Ahhh! This is so embarrassing, I might as well drop this fan tag!]

[It’s one thing to joke around with us, but how dare you say that in front of the man himself!]

[Stupid son, wake up! This is Xu! The top god of the esports scene with millions of fans! Can you stop flirting aimlessly?]

[You deserve to be screwed by TLG!]

Jiang Shi, seeing the reprimands, replied with an innocent tone, “Wasn’t it you guys who suggested this seduction thing earlier? Why are you turning on me now?”

“We’re all one family, we should advance and retreat together.”

After these shameless remarks, he cleared his throat. “Gege, have you decided yet? I can chat with just you, without all these lightbulbs in the stream!”

“And, we can talk about anything you want~”

[…You’re really good at this, aren’t you?]

[How can you say such obscene words with such an innocent tone?]

[Who taught you these things? Aren’t you only 19 years old?]

[T Bao, are you going all out just because it’s your last stream? Be careful, Xu’s wife fans will directly find your identity and cyberbully you.]

“I’ve said before, the person who can threaten me hasn’t been born yet!” Jiang Shi, lounging back with one leg crossed over the other, spoke nonchalantly.

He didn’t believe anyone could really track him down.

After all, he never showed his face, and with his distinct voice filter, who could identify him?

Jiang Shi joked with his audience a bit more, noticing that Xu still hadn’t said anything, though his name remained in the online viewer list.

He raised an eyebrow—could it be that Xu was genuinely scared by his boldness?

Xu did seem like a very serious person.

Jiang Shi sat up slightly, thoughtfully offering a compromise, “If it’s too much, you can just send me a picture of your hand.”

“I’m really easy to please!”

He added quickly, “Make sure it’s a unique one, not something that’s already online~”

The fans, unsure of Xu’s reaction, were quick to voice their concerns.

[Xu, don’t be fooled by this little idiot’s tricks. He’s only into you for three minutes tops, the night before he was still reminiscing over his ex in the stream!]

[Yeah, I thought T Bao was really in love, but the next day he was all about wanting to sleep with you.]

[Don’t think asking for a hand pic is backing down—this guy is a serious hand-con!]

[Rumor has it he liked his ex-boyfriend because of his hands too.]

Xu, who had been about to leave the stream, paused when he saw these comments.

[TLG-Xu: Hand-con?]

The enthusiastic fans quickly chimed in.

[Yeah! Not just a hand-con, he’s probably a face-con.]

[He used to analyze celebrity faces in his streams, and he spoke very clearly.]

[This guy is really fickle, just sweet-talking; don’t let him fool you!]

Jiang Shi hadn’t expected the conversation to veer so wildly, even bringing up his online boyfriend he never met. He clicked his tongue in annoyance—

How was he supposed to get Xu’s hand picture now?

When a fan threatened to share the hand close-ups he’d once bragged about, Jiang Shi finally had enough. “If you’re going to expose me like this, then our father-son bond is over.”

“Your Dad’s leaving, remember to unfollow.”

With that, he ended the stream without hesitation and wiped all content from the account.

This account was done for good.

After Jiang Shi did all of this, he was still worried that some fans didn’t see this livestream, so he posted a Weibo addressing this matter specifically.

[Time: I’m quitting livestreaming, and my streaming account will be canceled. If we are fated, we will meet again.]

After this, Jiang Shi, feeling no guilt, went to sleep peacefully. But the light in the next room stayed on.

Xie Xu, staring at the now-blank stream page, tried to search for the fan who had mentioned Time ex-boyfriend’s hand photo, only to find their account was private and didn’t allow private messages.

He looked down at his phone for a long time before slowly putting it down.

Maybe it was just a coincidence.

That night, Jiang Shi slept exceptionally well, and his appetite returned to normal. He ate a bowl of shrimp fried rice and drank a bowl of wonton soup. As he was about to start his beautiful day by heading to the training room with a yogurt bottle in his mouth, he turned around and met Jiang Lele’s eyes, which were swollen like walnuts.

Jiang Shi almost spat out his yogurt. “Were you secretly watching a sad drama under the covers last night?”

Previously, Zhao Jiu often teased Jiang Lele for having a low threshold for tears, always crying along with the characters in dramas, especially the sad scenes.

And Jiang Lele loved watching those dramas.

Surprisingly, this time Jiang Lele didn’t argue back with Jiang Shi. He sat down at the dining table listlessly, staring blankly at the delicious food.

Every now and then, he would sneak a teary glare at Jiang Shi, looking like a pitiful little thing that had been bullied by Jiang Shi but didn’t dare to fight back.

At this moment, footsteps came from upstairs, and Jiang Shi looked up to see Xie Xu descending.

Jiang Shi quickly clarified, “I didn’t bully him, he cried on his own.”

Jiang Lele didn’t intend to falsely accuse Jiang Shi and affirmed in a sullen manner.

Xie Xu sat down at the table, and Jiang Shi, not in a hurry to leave, thoughtfully served Xie Xu a heaping bowl of shrimp fried rice. “Captain, Auntie’s fried rice is amazing!”

Xie Xu looked at the packed bowl of fried rice in front of him, thought for a moment, and then transferred some of it back to Jiang Shi’s bowl.

As Xie Xu divided the rice, the morning sunlight streamed through the window, casting a warm glow on his hands, which gave them a nearly translucent beauty. The light accentuated the contours of his long, elegant fingers.

Jiang Shi, oblivious to the fact that his admiring gaze had been noticed, began eating the rice as soon as it was served.

Jiang Lele, looking at the harmonious interaction between the two, said with a hint of bitterness, “Your precious mid-laner is so sad, and no one’s comforting me?”

“Little White Hair ignoring me is one thing, but Captain, how can you be so cold too!”

Not only were Jiang Lele’s eyes swollen, but his voice was also hoarse, making it hard to recognize him.

The sound caught Jiang Shi’s attention, making him glance at Jiang Lele. Why did his voice seem so familiar?

Xie Xu, taking a bite of the fried rice, asked cooperatively, “What’s wrong?”

Jiang Lele, as if finding an outlet for his emotions, wailed, “My idiot son quit the internet!”

This wail startled Zhao Jiu and Yu Hui, who had just come downstairs to eat, shaking off any remaining drowsiness.

After sitting down, Zhao Jiu frowned at Jiang Lele’s puffy eyes. “How did you end up crying like this? Do you need some ice to cool it down?”

Jiang Lele looked at Zhao Jiu with gratitude. “Waahhh, Jiu-ge, you’re the best.”

He then looked at his duo partner, Yu Hui.

Yu Hui glanced at him and said, “When I stream today, don’t leech off my viewers.”

“You look ugly.”

Jiang Lele’s heart shattered. “You’re doing this on purpose! And on this day, of all days, you choose to stream!”

Despite his sadness, he still eagerly went to the fridge to grab some ice water for his eyes. “I have to leech off your stream, don’t even think of running away!”

The atmosphere lightened considerably, and as Jiang Shi watched Jiang Lele walk away to get ice water, a thoughtful expression crossed his face.

That wail from Jiang Lele… he had just heard it last night.

So it was Jiang Lele who sent that nearly ten-minute-long voice message to his inbox?

Seeing Jiang Lele’s puffy eyes and hoarse voice, Jiang Shi began to question whether he was really his anti-fan.

Jiang Shi sighed internally. After all, Jiang Lele was a level 35 fan of his stream. He must have some emotional attachment.

He quietly served a bowl of wonton soup and discreetly placed it near Jiang Lele.

Jiang Lele was still chatting. “Last night, I sent my idiot son a ten-minute voice message, and he only listened to one sentence before closing it. I wanted to reach through the screen and grab his ear to scold him!”

Jiang Shi’s hand, holding the wonton soup, slowed down.

Zhao Jiu asked in confusion, “Ten minutes? What did you have to say for that long?”

“At first, I was too sad and cried.” Jiang Lele huffed. “But after less than a minute, I thought that little idiot was heartless, so I spent the next nine minutes cursing him out. Unfortunately, he didn’t listen to the end.”

Zhao Jiu let out a hearty laugh. “So did you lose your voice from crying or cursing?”

“Neither,” Jiang Lele admitted sheepishly, rubbing his nose. “I got hungry watching his stream and ate a pack of spicy chicken noodles. My throat was burning, and my eyes got swollen from crying.”

After saying this, he suddenly noticed the wonton soup beside him and looked at Jiang Shi with surprise. “Wow, Little White Hair, did you serve this just for me? Are you comforting me? How sweet—”

Just as he reached out to take the bowl, Jiang Shi abruptly turned it away.

He placed the wonton soup in front of Xie Xu, forcing a smile at Jiang Lele. “Sorry, wrong direction.”

This little winter melon wasn’t worth a bowl of wonton soup!
