Yu Yang was a bit annoyed today.

In the morning, while riding his bike, he accidentally grazed a saucy red sports car parked by the side of the road.

At that moment, he was in a rush to get to school. If he hadn’t overslept, he wouldn’t have thought of riding his bicycle to school. And if he hadn’t ridden his bicycle, he wouldn’t have collided with that sports car.

He was just about to write a note with his contact information and name to leave it at the scene before heading to school when he saw an Omega coming out of the coffee shop. This Omega was tall with long legs, dressed in a meticulously fashionable trench coat. The Omega noticed Yu Yang, standing there with his towering 1.9-meter frame beside his car. His eyes roamed over him for a moment and then he asked, “Little one, do you have your eyes on my car?”

His tone carried a hint of graceful allure but remained effortless, sending shivers down Yu Yang’s spine.

“I’m sorry… My bicycle accidentally grazed your car door,” Yu Yang pointed to the driver’s side door. “I’m in a hurry to get to school. Could you please leave me your contact information? I’ll discuss compensation with you after school.”

“Oh, it seems you’re such a good student.”

The Omega walked around the front of the car and glanced at his car door. He then turned to look at the Alpha before him. He was a few centimetres shorter than Yu Yang, so he had to slightly raise his gaze when making eye contact. That slight lift of his eyes, with his long curled eyelashes and an upward tilt at the outer corners, hooked straight into Yu Yang’s heart. He could distinctly sense the rich scent of Damascus rose pheromones emanating from him, confirming that this Omega was a high-class mixed-blood.

“It’s not that serious. Why are you so nervous?” The Omega, noticing Yu Yang’s uneasy expression, teased with a playful smile.

“I’m not nervous. I’m going to be late for school,” Yu Yang denied with a neutral expression. He then took out his phone. “Please leave your phone number. I’ll contact you after school.”

The Omega lazily took Yu Yang’s phone. Whether intentionally or not, his index finger brushed against the back of Yu Yang’s hand. His captivating eyes made a circle on Yu Yang’s face before turning his attention to the phone screen.

After entering the number and adding a name, he casually dialled his own number and handed the phone back to Yu Yang.

“Thank you. And I’m really sorry. I will compensate you,” Yu Yang placed the phone in his pocket. “I need to go to school now.”

The Omega blinked and suddenly leaned in closer to Yu Yang. His warm breath carried the scent of roses as he said, “I’ll be waiting for your call.”

Yu Yang felt himself tense up completely, unsure of how to react for a moment. He could only sense the overwhelming fragrance of roses, as if it could mesmerise his senses.

Instinctively, he released some of his pheromones to counteract and resist. But to his surprise, the Omega in front of him let out a soft laugh. His honey-like voice sounded sweetly in Yu Yang’s ears, “Lemon soda. It smells so good. My coffee doesn’t even smell as nice anymore.”

Without waiting for Yu Yang to react, the Omega smiled and took a step back, leaning against his own car. His legs were slender and his blue hair was like an eye-catching blue rose. It reflected the morning light, shimmering brilliantly.

“What are you standing there for? Go to school. Aren’t you going to be late?” The Omega reminded Yu Yang with an ambiguous tone. His eyes were filled with playful smiles. Yu Yang felt flustered and had no desire to engage in further eye contact. He immediately mounted his bicycle and hurried towards the school. His back showed signs of nervousness.

After school, Yu Yang looked at the number saved in his phone. It was under the name ‘Jin Wuqi’.

Yu Yang felt that this slightly classical name didn’t quite match the otherworldly aura and appearance of the Omega he had encountered.

But this name seemed oddly familiar?

Yu Yang browsed through various web pages on Baidu and local news reports. He suddenly looked up, realising; I actually bumped into the scion of a major conglomerate in our city.

“Really, Yu Yang. Just go with your gut in situations like this,” Zhou Zhou patted Yu Yang’s shoulder as he said goodbye. He then walked back to his own residential area.

Yu Yang took out his phone. It was still laced with a faint residue of Jin Wuqi’s pheromones. It was subtle but distinct.

“I’m a good student,” Yu Yang muttered as he returned the phone to his pocket. He gripped the handlebars of his bicycle with determination and mounted it. “I’d rather die than yield!”
