Zhou Zhou didn’t say a word the whole way. He felt extremely suffocated.
Once inside the door, Zhou Zhou took out a pair of slippers and handed them to Cheng Che: “Just make do with these.”
“Okay.”
Zhou Zhou’s mind was clouded with anger. He didn’t even notice the lonely scene now.
Cheng Che didn’t know he was an omega anyway.
He noisily piled up chemistry books, chemistry test papers, and a collection of wrong answers on the desk. He then sat down and started working on the questions.
Cheng Che leaned against the door and glanced around Zhou Zhou’s room. He then looked at Zhou Zhou’s back. His eyes were looking deep and calm.
“This question. I don’t know how to solve it,” Zhou Zhou turned to look at Cheng Che. The soft room lighting made him look tender and delicate. His face was fair and beautiful under the pink colour of the sweater. He said, “Can you teach me?”
He pulled a chair towards his side, gesturing for Cheng Che to sit down.
Cheng Che got up and walked over. He pulled out the chair and sat down. He looked at the problem Zhou Zhou was pointing at and said, “I taught you this type of question last time. Try to think about it again.”
Zhou Zhou was already feeling wronged. He had just randomly picked a problem just to have an excuse to talk to Cheng Che. Who would have thought Cheng Che would make him figure it out by himself?!
Argh!!!!!
Zhou Zhou was so frustrated that tears welled up in his eyes. He angrily exclaimed, “Why are you like this? Can’t you just help me when I forget something? Why are you so unreasonable today…”
If Zhou Zhou didn’t see it wrong, Cheng Che should be smiling right now.
There were tears in his eyes. They were not very distinct. But he couldn’t mistake that small protruding fang and Cheng Che’s crescent-shaped eyes.
Zhou Zhou was about to wipe away his tears to see more clearly when Cheng Che reached out to wipe his tears for him.
“You cry so easily,” Cheng Che remarked.
Zhou Zhou felt teased. So his temper flared up again. He turned his head and wiped his tears with his sleeve. He then grumbled, “What’s wrong with crying? Does it bother you? If you don’t like me, just say it directly. Don’t criticise me behind my back.”
“How have I been criticising you?” Cheng Che turned his body to face Zhou Zhou. He then spread his legs and placed Zhou Zhou, who was still sitting on his own chair, between his legs.
Zhou Zhou didn’t realize the situation and continued pouring out his grievances, “Did you not want to tutor me from the beginning? If you had said you didn’t want to, I wouldn’t have forced you. You’ve been tutoring me for quite a while. It must have been uncomfortable for you. And I keep bothering you…”
Cheng Che chuckled softly and sighed, “It’s not…”
“Don’t deny it! You definitely do!” Zhou Zhou was convinced today that Cheng Che had been reluctantly tutoring him all along. He felt even more wronged. Tears continued to flow. “I always wondered why you never talk much or smile. You probably really dislike me, right? I talk too much. My actions are too much. I even want to hold your hand and be close to you. And on weekends, I drag you out to eat dessert. It affects your rest…”
Cheng Che had no idea what was going on with Zhou Zhou today. Where did all these melodramatic thoughts come from?
“What’s wrong with you?” Cheng Che asked.
Zhou Zhou didn’t know why he was acting this way. These past few days, he had been feeling uncomfortable due to the suppressants. He also had a general sense of unease. Combined with the frustration of the afternoon and all the speculations about Cheng Che, he felt like he was losing control. He didn’t want to cry. It was embarrassing to do so. But for some reason, he couldn’t hold back. He felt both wronged and angry. On top of that, Cheng Che saw everything now that Zhou Zhou decided to let it all out.
Unrequited love is really painful. I don’t want to have unrequited love anymore.
“Just go home,” Zhou Zhou said with tears streaming down his face. “You don’t have to tutor me anymore. I’ll hire a private tutor. So I won’t bother you.”
“Take a deep breath,” Cheng Che reached out and gently turned Zhou Zhou’s shoulder to face him. His eyebrows were furrowing slightly. “Is it because you’re not feeling well physically?”
“No. It’s not!” Zhou Zhou broke free from Cheng Che’s grasp and stood up. He kicked the chair under the table and refused to look at him, keeping his eyes averted. “Stop asking. It’s already dark outside. Just go home…”
Cheng Che also stood up and reached for his hand. “Listen to me.”
“I don’t want to listen today,” Zhou Zhou said, resisting Cheng Che’s touch. He turned his hand behind his back. His eyes were red and moist. “I’ll feel better after I cry a bit. And then I won’t bother you anymore…”
“Zhou Zhou!” Cheng Che furrowed his eyebrows and gently pushed Zhou Zhou back as he gripped his shoulder and pressed him against the wall. “Be good. Stop crying. Is it because you’re not feeling well?”
“I told you. It’s not that! I’ll feel better when you leave. Just stay away from me…”
That’s true. Cheng Che was too close to him. It seemed like the pheromones were affecting Zhou Zhou even more than before. Coupled with his emotional instability, Zhou Zhou really didn’t want to be around Cheng Che right now. He felt like there were many things he couldn’t control.

Zhou Zhou trembled all over because Cheng Che’s hand had moved around his neck and pressed on his gland.
