Zhou Zhou feels that living together is not at all enjoyable.
Especially in the morning. It is particularly painful. He just wants to hold Cheng Che and nestle in bed without getting up. But when he thinks that he still has to go to school, Zhou Zhou feels like crying in his dreams.
What he doesn’t know is that Cheng Che is even more troubled than him. It’s difficult when two people sleep in the same bed and don’t want to do anything. Even Cheng Che, with a clear and self-disciplined mind, cannot escape this predicament.
Last night, Cheng Che closed his eyes and recited the ‘Memorial of Grievances’ ten times before reluctantly suppressing impure thoughts while holding his Little Strawberry in his arms.
At this moment, Cheng Che has already woken up. The two of them agreed yesterday to go to school half an hour earlier every day to study.
Well, it wasn’t exactly an agreement. It was Cheng Che who unilaterally made the decision. Zhou Zhou tried to resist. But in the end, his resistance failed. So he could only reluctantly agree with a pout.
Dim light seeped in from outside the curtains, casting a hazy glow in the room. It was quiet, with only the steady sound of Zhou Zhou’s breathing. He curled up into Cheng Che’s arms, sleeping soundly.
Cheng Che, with his eyes closed, kissed Zhou Zhou on the top of his head. His hand traced down Zhou Zhou’s back and playfully pinched his soft buttocks. His voice was husky from just waking up, “Little Strawberry, it’s time to get up.”
His Little Strawberry kept his eyes closed, playing dead and refusing to get up.
Cheng Che then slid his hand into Zhou Zhou’s pyjamas to pinch his waist.
Zhou Zhou was quite sensitive and ticklish. When Cheng Che pinched him, he immediately squirmed and giggled under the blanket. He struggled while playfully grabbing Cheng Che’s wrist, “Stop pinching… I’ll get up right away.”
Zhou Zhou’s ‘right away’ remained unfulfilled, even after Cheng Che finished getting ready.
Cheng Che used his still-damp hand to touch Zhou Zhou’s neck and Zhou Zhou finally opened his eyes while avoiding Cheng Che’s hand. To prevent Cheng Che from getting upset, Zhou Zhou lay on the bed as he reached out to him in a particularly pleasing manner, “Give me a hug.”
Cheng Che bent down to embrace him. He kissed him on the face with a fresh scent of toothpaste and a hint of the minty sake fragrance. Zhou Zhou took a deep breath and then started to laugh silly again.
He squinted his eyes while he laid on the bed, waiting to fully wake up. In the blurry vision, he saw Cheng Che lifting his hand to take off his pyjamas.
The hem of the clothing was pulled up, revealing a section of a firm and slender waist. They were looking smooth and fair. The lines of abdominal muscles were neat and smooth, exuding a youthful vibe unique to high schoolers and the inherent power of an alpha.
Zhou Zhou shamelessly watched Cheng Che change clothes, observing him as he bent over to take off his pyjama pants, revealing long and straight legs. Cheng Che was left with only a pair of underwear. He then neatly folded the pyjamas and looked up at Zhou Zhou.
Zhou Zhou immediately closed his eyes again, pretending to be dead. His heart was pounding. He heard Cheng Che saying, “I’m going to get changed. Get up quickly.”
After saying that, Cheng Che turned and went to the closet. There was a smile on his face. Zhou Zhou, watching Cheng Che’s tall and straight figure from the back, felt a strong urge deep in him.
By the time Zhou Zhou finished washing up, Cheng Che had also changed into his school uniform and was busy packing his backpack. Zhou Zhou, wearing his school uniform jacket, entered the room and asked, “What time is it?”
“Asking won’t help. You might as well hurry up.”
Cheng Che stood in front of the desk, adjusting his backpack. The light from outside the window, filtered through the curtains, outlined his profile. It showcased his handsome side face and tall, slender figure. Zhou Zhou looked at him and couldn’t help but sigh, thinking that someone with a good physique can really pull off wearing anything. He even made the ugly school uniform look like a trendy sports outfit.

They bought breakfast and ate on the way. Once they arrived at school, Cheng Che led Zhou Zhou to stand in the corridor to recite English vocabulary.
Arriving early, there weren’t many people in the classroom. The few Alphas who passed by in the corridor were all yawning with sleepy eyes. When they saw Zhou Zhou obediently standing in front of Cheng Che, memorising words, their drowsiness was dispelled to some extent.
“How come Cheng Che and Zhou Zhou have gotten so close lately?”
“Isn’t Zhou Zhou having Cheng Che tutor him in Chemistry?”
“Oh, right. Zhou Zhou’s Chemistry is indeed a huge stumbling block in his academic journey.”
“Well, it’s exactly that. They do look pretty good standing there together.”
“If Zhou Zhou is an omega, I think they could get married on the spot.”
“Be careful, if Zhou Zhou hears you, he’ll come over to smack you.”
As soon as the casual remark was made, Zhou Zhou lifted his head and looked in their direction.
The Alphas felt a shudder in their hearts, fearing that this little wildcat might suddenly pounce on them.
To their surprise, Zhou Zhou just grinned at them, looking seemingly unintelligent. He then politely said, “Instead of wasting time with such nonsense, why not study some more?”
The Alphas chuckled and walked away. Cheng Che lightly tapped Zhou Zhou’s head with a book as he looked at him, “With that sharp hearing, why don’t you use it for English listening comprehension?”
“English listening comprehension won’t mention our names in it, nor will it tell us to get married on the spot,” Zhou Zhou countered with solid reasoning.
“Getting married?” Cheng Che looked at Zhou Zhou and asked, “Zhou Zhou, would you like to marry me?”
The proposal came suddenly, in such a casual setting.
Yet, there seemed to be no better moment than this. Here they were, in their youth, standing in the gradually lit corridor, with the fresh spring breeze in their breath. Step by step, they walked on the path to the college entrance examination and the future, full of hope and anticipation.
“I do.” Zhou Zhou didn’t hesitate to answer, accepting the proposal easily and smoothly. He casually flipped to the next page of the vocabulary list. Then, he tilted his head and smiled at Cheng Che with squinted eyes. The bright sunlight reflected in his beautiful pupils. His voice was light but cheerful, “I’m willing to marry you, Cheng Che.”
“Great.” Cheng Che smiled. He took Zhou Zhou’s English book and said, “Let’s take a quiz now. Let’s see how many words you’ve just memorised.”
Zhou Zhou put away his smile and rolled his eyes. He leaned against the railing, ready to accept Cheng Che’s questioning.
As he recited, Zhou Zhou noticed a few art stream students walking below. One of them was carrying a guitar. Pointing at him, Zhou Zhou said to Cheng Che, “I used to think about learning how to play the guitar.”
“Do you really like it?” Cheng Che asked.
“Oh, not really,” Zhou Zhou rubbed his hands and honestly admitted, “I just feel that the guitar is… something that is…”
He blinked and let out a somewhat superficial exclamation, “Super cool!”
Cheng Che looked at him and raised his hand. Under the tracing of the sunlight and spring breeze, he tidied Zhou Zhou’s bangs with his fingertips and said, “You’re super cute.”
