Zhou Zhou feels like college isn’t anything special. It was just going to classes, eating, going home, and sleeping. He doesn’t live on campus or participate in any student organisations, except for a painting interest group. After all, his major requires some exposure to graphic design, so he sees it as exercising his aesthetic sense. Besides, Wen Ran is also in this group and the atmosphere is very relaxed. They gather once a week to go out for sketching or visit art galleries. It was very laid-back and peaceful.
Cheng Che is very busy, spending every day in the lab, attending lectures, and writing reports. He was even busier than in high school. Zhou Zhou hates chemistry even more now, not only because of the 18-point shame he suffered in high school but also because it took away his alpha.
Today, Zhou Zhou doesn’t have classes in the morning, so he sleeps in peacefully. Cheng Che, as usual, gets up on time to go to the lab. After he’s ready, he stands by the bed and leans over to Zhou Zhou, saying, “Remember to check your phone after class. I might finish early today.”
“No need to wait until after class…” Zhou Zhou turns over and murmurs, “I play on my phone during class anyway…”
Cheng Che smiled and pinched his ear. “I’m off.”

Zhou Zhou slept happily until around ten o’clock. He then got up, washed up, ordered takeout, and after eating, he tidied up his room a bit. Feeling almost full, he then plunged back into bed for a nap.
After waking up from his nap, Zhou Zhou, looking like a wilted plant, listlessly went to school. The weather was hot and he felt very languid.
Feeling really languid, coupled with the fact that his major, in his freshman year, apart from the two weekly specialised courses, seemed quite mediocre. For example, at this moment, Zhou Zhou sat with his mouth open, seemingly not understanding what the teacher was saying. He quickly grew sleepy again and fell into a deep sleep on the desk.
After the class, Zhou Zhou’s study day came to an end.
So happy. Only one class today. Hehe.
Zhou Zhou wiped the saliva from the corner of his mouth, bid farewell to his classmates, and sat alone flipping through his phone. He saw a WeChat message from Cheng Che.
Cheng Che: I’ll finish as soon as possible. If you’re hungry, go to the place to eat and wait for me.
Zhou Zhou: Okay, I’ll meet you at the street food omelette stall.
Speaking of that omelette stall, it’s really fate. It’s the one Zhou Zhou used to frequent outside the Alpha Centre, leaning on the railing. The auntie probably felt it was too tiring to stand outside the high school fence all the time. So she rented a spot in the street food area next to the research institute to set up her stall.
Zhou Zhou held a cup of ice watermelon juice, watching the auntie frying the omelette. Suddenly, someone came up beside him. A faint scent of minty sake pheromones lingered around.
Zhou Zhou took the omelette and said to the auntie, “Auntie, fry another one for me, without lettuce.”
Cheng Che doesn’t like lettuce.
“Sure, wait a moment. There are a few other students ahead of you in line. I’ll make theirs first,” the auntie said. Her hands never stopped moving even as she found a moment to talk to Zhou Zhou.
“No problem. Take your time. I’ve got something to eat now anyway,” Zhou Zhou replied, taking a bite of the freshly made omelette and closing his eyes in satisfaction.
After chewing and swallowing, he finally turned to look at Cheng Che. His eyes and mouth were wide open as he then pretentiously spoke in an exaggerated tone, “Oh my, you’re so handsome. Can I get your WeChat?”
The students around them all looked over, unaware of what was going on. Cheng Che looked at the golden omelette the auntie was frying and casually asked, “Wanna book a room? My wife has classes tonight. He won’t catch us in the act.”
The auntie almost dropped her spatula.
“Forget it,” Zhou Zhou turned back with a sullen look as he took a sip of watermelon juice. He said, “Every time I tried to tease you, I was left feeling so frustrated.”
Cheng Che took the watermelon juice from him and took a sip, furrowing his eyebrows. “Did you know there’s sugar in this watermelon juice?”
Zhou Zhou: “I don’t know. And I don’t want to know. You just shut up.”

The two slowly walked out of the street food area, with lively voices behind them. Zhou Zhou chewed on his omelette and said vaguely, “Oh. I think college is actually pretty good, especially with so few classes now. I’m so happy.”
The thought of Cheng Che working so hard while he was so relaxed made Zhou Zhou even happier.
“I can tell you’re happy,” Cheng Che said. “Those few strands of hair on your head are still standing so spiritedly.”
Zhou Zhou was startled and reached up to touch his hair, feeling a tuft sticking up high. It must have been from sleeping in class.
He looked up with both eyes. But of course he couldn’t see anything. He ran his hand over his head, trying to flatten the tuft of hair.
Standing on the street side, with his eyes wide open, Zhou Zhou looked hilarious as he tried to smooth down his hair. Cheng Che, unable to hold back, chuckled while Zhou Zhou frantically patted his head and stomped his foot, demanding Cheng Che not to laugh.
“It’s okay, just a few hairs,” Cheng Che cleared his throat. He put his arm around Zhou Zhou’s shoulder and walked him forward, “It’s even cuter when it sticks up.”
Ah, Zhou Zhou was immediately appeased and he smirked, “You’re right.”

Back at home, after they showered, Cheng Che sat on the bed sorting out data on his laptop. He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt, exposing a fair portion of his neck. Zhou Zhou hugged him from behind, kissed his neck, and then stared at his ears.
Zhou Zhou discovered that Cheng Che’s most sensitive spot was his ears. Every time Zhou Zhou got close to talk to him, Cheng Che would subconsciously tilt his head and turn his face slightly to keep his ear away from Zhou Zhou’s mouth. Knowing this, Zhou Zhou would occasionally tease Cheng Che’s ears, sometimes kissing them, sometimes blowing air into them, and sometimes just licking them. Cheng Che would always purse his lips to avoid it and then hold down the restless little omega.
Today, Zhou Zhou mischievously lay on Cheng Che’s back and teased his ears. Cheng Che turned his head, smiling, and then said, “Stop it.”
Zhou Zhou, taking advantage of the situation, held onto Cheng Che’s neck and got closer to his ear, kissing and blowing air into it. When Cheng Che couldn’t take it anymore, he reached out, pinched Zhou Zhou’s face, and turned his head. He squinted his eyes slightly. “Not listening to me?”
From Cheng Che’s subtle but uncommon squinting, Zhou Zhou sensed a hint of danger.
But he, not knowing any better, still wanted to tease Cheng Che. Being pinched on the face, he looked like a chubby little hamster, squinting his eyes with a happy smile and asking innocently, “What’s wrong?”
Cheng Che kissed Zhou Zhou’s pouting lips and said, “Nothing much. I’m just craving strawberries.”
And so, a certain little strawberry was treated with much ‘affection’ to the point of crying.

Later, Zhou Zhou, after his second bath of the evening from his ‘learning to behave’ experience, lay exhausted on the bed and said, “Get me a glass of water.”
Cheng Che, refreshed from after sex, continued to work on his experiment report. He looked at his computer as he said, “Are you sulking?”
Zhou Zhou could be shy and appear soft at times. He also seemed to have never really sulked so much before.
“Not sulking. It’s up to you whether you want to give it to me or not,” Zhou Zhou turned over and burrowed into the covers as he muttered: “Trash alpha.”
After Cheng Che finished typing the last word on his computer, he calmly shut down his computer and got out of bed. He poured a glass of water and patted Zhou Zhou’s shoulder. “Drink some water.”
Zhou Zhou immediately sat up.
He stretched his neck to reach for the water. But Cheng Che moved the glass away, teasing him, “Still sulking?”
Zhou Zhou was already on the verge of exploding. He had begged Cheng Che to be gentler in bed earlier, but to no avail. Now Cheng Che was teasing him again. Zhou Zhou felt like he was being pushed into a corner.
“Not sulking! Let me drink or I’ll die of thirst!” Zhou Zhou turned his head away dramatically.
Cheng Che calmly picked up his phone from the bedside, swiped the screen a few times, and then handed it to Zhou Zhou. “Take a look.”
Zhou Zhou looked over with reluctance and suspicion.
“Damn it!!!!” He reached out to grab the phone. “You pervert!!!”
The phone displayed a picture taken on the bed, just after they had had sex. Zhou Zhou was biting his lip, eyes tightly closed, his face flushed, and there were a few hickeys on his neck.
Cheng Che effortlessly held the phone high, out of Zhou Zhou’s reach. He calmly held the glass of water. “Give me a kiss. And then I’ll give you water.”
Zhou Zhou glared at Cheng Che through gritted teeth. “It’s not about the water anymore, okay?!”
He then leaned in and kissed Cheng Che’s mouth, biting him lightly.
“Good boy,” Cheng Che handed the water to Zhou Zhou’s lips. “You were crying on the bed saying you had no strength. But now you’re biting people.”
After Zhou Zhou drank the water, he asked, “Why did you take a picture of us on the bed?”
“I just wanted to see it,” Cheng Che finished the water and said. “Just wanted to admire it when I have nothing else to do.”
Blushing, Zhou Zhou tried to grab the phone again. But Cheng Che threw it aside and grabbed Zhou Zhou’s hand, pushing him back onto the bed. Cheng Che’s pheromones enveloped Zhou Zhou, making him immediately weak.
“You always use pheromones to overpower me!” Zhou Zhou said angrily.
Cheng Che nodded. “And you seem to enjoy being overpowered.”
“Who says so?!” Zhou Zhou exclaimed.
“I said so,” Cheng Che said. He then lowered his head to cover Zhou Zhou’s mouth.

*Translator’s Note: I think I’ve explained this before but here we go again just in case if I hadn’t; Chinese call their lover ‘wife’ regardless of gender (manxman relationship). It’s to indicate the position of the partner in that relationship. -K
